The regulators have expanded CRA regulations. Each of the final rules contains details that must be mastered to obtain CRA credit for the activity. This program explains the details of each of the final rules.
In the past year regulators have expanded the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) regulations. The expansion creates new opportunities to improve your CRA rating. Each of the final rules contains details that must be mastered in order to obtain CRA credit. This program explains the details of each of the final rules, including information regarding the: Joint final rules which offers the opportunity to improve your CRA rating by: Providing low-cost education loans to low-income borrowers; Entering into ventures with minority-owned and women-owned financial institutions and with low-income credit unions; and Final rule which offers the opportunity to increase the number and dollar amount of community development activities by supporting eligible development activities in areas designated under the Neighborhood stabilization Program administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
