WORK EXPERIENCE
The Bertelsmann Foundation North America, Legislative Relations Project Manager August Present in Washington, D.C. Serve as the Bertelsmann Foundations principle liaison to Congress and the European Parliament (EP). Oversee the Congressional European Parliament Initiative (CEPI), which aims to facilitate better policy cooperation and bestpractice exchanges between Congress and the EP. The program includes a briefing series, the CapitolWire and EuroWire publications and staff delegations. Manage all grant funding and reporting in relation to the CEPI program. Manage trans-Atlantic and legislative-focused events including preparation of policy substance and organizational issues. Research and track current legislative issues in both Congress and the EP, particularly issues with a trans-Atlantic dimension.
