Sumario Desde un punto de vista personal siempre me parece interesante leer acerca de la perspectiva de otras personas en esta industria. Siempre es bueno leer sobre cmo otras personas tanto profesionales de la Proteccin Personal como Nuestros Enemigos hacen las cosas. Es importante ver y conocer otros puntos de vista. Como dice el refrn "cada da es un da de clases" o cada maestrillo tiene su librillo, especialmente cuando se trabaja en el mbito de Proteccin Personal. Siendo yo mismo instructor de Proteccin Personal y habiendo atendido a cursos de Proteccin Personal en Zonas de Riesgo organizados por antigos Instructores de el Royal Military Police e Instructores de Special Air Services puedo confirmar que los especialistas en Seguridad no solamente provienen de unidades especializadas, sino que vivimos en un mundo que es impulsado por el progreso y lograr una seguridad profesional y a medida debe centrarse en las necesidades del cliente y por lo tanto el Operador de Proteccin Personal debe obtener formacin continuada y al da. En pocas palabras, este libro est bien escrito poniendo el listn bien alto. La investigacin es meticulosa y atractiva, su conocimiento de la industria es insuperable, y lo hago como enfoque abierto y honesto del autor. Como he mencionado anteriormente es algo que la industria Proteccin Personal en el Reino Unido ha necesitado durante mucho tiempo y ahora le recomiendo este libro a cualquier persona que trabaje en la Primera Lnea del Sector de la Proteccin, cualquier persona que est pensando en unirse a la industria y los que emplean en la industria. Incluso los clientes potenciales que buscan contratar a un Guardaespaldas por primera vez deben recibir este libro, ya que les dar una idea de lo que deben esperar de sus empleados como Equipo de Proteccin Personal. Algunos lo critican por no estar disponible a travs de copia digital, pero eso es un tema menor, y para ser sincero, una versin digital de un libro como ste no le hara ninguna justicia. Este libro debera formar parte de cada coleccin de libros de Seguridad de todo Operador de Proteccin Personal o Consultor. Como profesional de la seguridad, me qued impresionado por el contenido y las enseanzas que imparte de alguien que est, evidentemente, a un nivel superior en su campo profesional. Es obvio que no se puede aprender Proteccin Personal de un libro por s solo, pero sin duda le ayuda a lo largo del camino.
