First make sure the power adapter is working properly then check for 3 and 5 volts always on then check for voltage on the power button. Voltage should drop to zero volts when you press it.

How possible to get 3 and 5 volts when VIN has no voltage, this is between the dc jack to PQ1 mosfet and L1 inductor which provide voltage to 3 and 5v. By the way i tried to used battery and it worked with battery not on ac adapter. My ac adapter is working properly.I replace all mosfet around the charging ic but still no VIN out. one problem I check the voltage gate at PIN4 in mosfet PQ3 there is 2v and on resistor PR182-4v PR183-30v and in charging IC pin11 ACOK-0v. here i provide a schematic diagram..

Check page 42 of your schematic start troubleshooting here. That ic max8724 is for charging the battery.

[QUOTE=siddiq;296604]Try changing PQ40 if you haven't done so already.[/QUOTE i've done already, now my problem is pin10 of the charging ic before there is 3v now 0V pin11 before 0v now 5v and VH28 before 30v now 2V

are you using an original power supply as some laptops will not charge unless you have HP charger?

yes, all the charger are original i used 18.5v and 19v charger, and im 100% sure that is not charger problem. my problem is the gate voltage at PQ61 is only 2v this one should be at 5v12v

Check pc202 it should have 5 volts on the side of the gate and 19 volts on the side of the power source. Also check pq64 out of circuit and resistors 182 and 183.

Also check resistor 193. Max 8724 should have voltage like this: pins 1=19v 2=5v 3=2.3v 4=4v 5=0 6=0 7=0 8=3.3v 9=0 10=3.3v 11=.3v 12=3.3v 13=0 14=0 15=5.3v 16=.13v 17=1.6v 18=.13v 19=.13v 20=0 21=0 22=5.3v 23=.13v 24=5.10v 25=.13v
