Wedge cfMount - Designed and installed on Airbus Narrow Body aircraft Slide cfMount - Designed and installed on Wide Body aircraft Aeromexico chose to replace traditional paper based Flight Bags with a more envi ronmentally friendly electronic format using the Apple iPad as their new Electro nic Flight Bag (EFB). For years pilots have been carrying their Flight Bags cont aining all the necessary documents for a flight. However, with the advent of the Tablet Computer (specifically the iPad) the aviation industry is slowly adoptin g a more modern electronic platform. Avionics Support Group (ASG) revolutionized the industry in 2005 by being the fi rst company to receive FAA Certification of its Constant Friction Mount (cfMount) that enabled airlines to safely mount their Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) on an a ircraft. Aeromexico chose the cfMounts because of its US Patented Constant Fricti on design that incorporates the latest Human Factors and Ergonomics into the des ign to increase flight safety, while reducing a pilots workload.
