Vico Cost Planner is the cost calculation and estimating module in the Vico Ofce Suite. Cost Planner leverages the model-based quantities generated by the Vico Takeoff Manager, and provides highly accurate estimating. Using Cost Planners estimating approach you benet from a continuous cost feedback on your evolving estimate which allows you to gradually increase the level of detail in the cost plans while maintaining full control of the cost. The Cost Planner 3D spreadsheet concept and unique structure allow you to build a living cost estimate,helping you make data-driven decisions that keep the budget on track.

Gradually increase your project cost estimate and benet from continuous cost feedback using the n-tiered Assembly Component structure. With Cost Planners evolving estimate approach you can start with a costing scheme at the business development phase and gradually increase granularity as more data become available from the 3D BIM model or manual quantity entry.

Using the Formula Editor you gain control over the way quantities are used for cost calculation. The Formula Editor leverages the quantity data collected with Vico Takeoff Manager and allows you to dene conditions, combine quantities, lter locations, and rene the calculation to provide input for your Assembly-Component structure.

Select a Cost Component to highlight its related element in the 3D View and effectively communicate its cost structure. With Cost Planner, changes in Assemblies cost are clearly marked with distinctive icons and the hierarchical Assembly - Component structure is clearly communicated.

Assign Cost Types to Components and dene specic markup percentages for each Cost Type to get a detailed project bid price. Use the Add-On tool to add overhead, overall prot margin and risk compensation and easily generate your bid price document with full control of its content.
