**PRESS RELEASE** Mike Gillespie Putting Cyber Threat on the Menu at the Security Institute Annual Conference
Advent IM Director, Mike Gillespie will be discussing Social Engineering and Insider Threat and how these link to Cyber Threat, as one of the guest speakers at the Security Institute's guest speakers for their Annual Conference, Exhibition and Dinner.

The Security Institute will be holding its 6th annual Conference on June 19th at the Marriott Regent's Park. With some excellent speakers, some of the topics will include Cyber Security and Threat and Mike will be delivering a presentation on how other areas of Security need to be considered when looking at the threat from cyber terrorists and criminals.

Cyber Security is top of mind with many businesses and organisations and understanding what the real threats are, is crucial to forming effective policies and procedures. These can have a knock on effect on our critical national infrastructure and our nations security. Understanding the links between security areas is the means to achieving a holistic solution to the holistic threat we are facing.

The event consists of an exhibition, the conference and dinner and is open to both members and non-members of the Institute. The modules in the conference consist of: Leadership & Management - What impacts on the decisions we make? Cyber Security - What are the vulnerabilities and how can we prevent them?

Emerging Trends - A look at some of this year's most recent security issues. Each module will have three expert speakers.

Mike Gillespie is a Director of Advent IM Ltd, the UK's leading independent holistic security consultancy. Mike is also on the Board of Director's for The Security Institute and a part of their mentoring scheme to help encourage and develop new security talent.
