Camp Information
DATES Sunday June 16 Thursday, June 20 6:00 to 8:15 pm LOCATION: Fauquier High School 705 Waterloo Rd. Warrenton, VA 20186 ATHLETES: The camp is co-educational. Any interested athlete who is currently in grades th K -8 may attend this camp. REGISTRATION: A non-refundable fee of $70.00 per athlete. All registrants will receive a registration confirmation via email. Please provide a current email address on your registration form. The registration deadline is Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Late registrations will be $75 dollars after June th 11 . DAILY ACTIVITIES: Each evening, athletes will be introduced to a new event and provided an opportunity to select an event to specialize in. In addition, there will be a brief lecture session followed by games and team building activities. Coaching Staff

We are proud to announce the 2013 Fauquier Track Camp. The camp is open to th athletes currently in grades K - 8 . It is designed to appeal to boys and girls at all levels of experience, from novices to competitive athletes. The camp is a great opportunity for younger athletes to learn about the sport of Track and Field. For older athletes, the camp is designed to strengthen their athletic skills. For all athletes, emphasis will be placed on teamwork, fun, and skill development. Instruction in sprints, middle distance, jumps, and throws will be given by highly qualified Track and Field coaches. Our coaches have years of experience coaching various age groups. Coaching will be geared to the ability and the experience level of the individual athletes. Finally, we like to provide unique and fun group activities to make this a camp to remember!

QUENTIN JONES: IS THE HEAD COACH OF BOTH CROSS COUNTRY AND TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS. HE WAS THE FIRST COACH IN FAUQUIER HIGH SCHOOL HISTORY TO LEAD HIS TEAM TO A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. WHILE HIS AREA OF
EXPERTISE IS THROWS COACH JONES HAS A WIDE KNOWLEDGE OF ALL TRACK AND FIELD BASICS.

CHRIS SHEPARD: IS AN EXTREMELY SAVVY AND EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL COACH. HE HAS COACHED MULTIPLE ALL DISTRICT, REGIONAL, AND STATE ATHLETES
WHICH HAVE MOVED ON TO COMPETE AT THE COLLEGIATE LEVEL.

TED UHLER:. HE HAS COACHED MANY DISTRICT, REGIONAL, AND, STATE VAULTERS. HE WAS A COLLEGIATE VAULTER AT UVA. IAN LANSDOWNE: IS A SUCCESSFUL FAUQUIER HIGH SCHOOL ALMNI. HE SET THE RECORDS I N THE 110HIGH AND 300INTERMEDIATE HURDLES WHICH HE SET DURING HIS TENURE AT FAUQUIER H.S. Mark Scott: A successful distance runner in his own right. He has taken the distance program to another level. He also competed as a collegian and had success on that level. The Robsons: Are a husband and wife team which bring a wealth of knowledge to the jumps. They still compete in triathlons and bring that same competitive edge to the jumpers they coach.
