ABOUT THE INSTITUTE The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat is spread over 100 hectares of land on the Surat-Dumas Road. The Institute established in 1961 in the State of Gujarat as one of the Regional Engineering Colleges, became National Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2002. At present, the Institute is offering seven under graduate, fifteen post graduate, and Ph.D. programs in various disciplines of technology as well as five Year Integrated M. Sc. programs. The institute has an excellent placement record. There is a constant process of up gradation and innovativeness in the academics which has resulted in bagging prestigious industrial and consultancy projects in the recent past. ABOUT THE IIIE Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) was established in the year 1957, is dedicated to the advancement of the discipline of Industrial Engineering and professional development head quartered in Mumbai. It has 25 Chapters across the country. Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering conducts Grad IE examinations recognized by Government of India at par with Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering.
