Hi, Im Rajeshwari from Sumangali village in Vembakkam. My father is a small farmer and my mother is a teacher. I joined Eureka School in LKG. I have many friends here. This year, my science project was about medicinal flowers. Do you know that hibiscus flower helps fight heart diseases and purifies blood? I also did a social science project on getting to know my elders. I learned folk songs, folk tales and herbal remedies for ailments from wise old paatis and taught them to write their names in Tamil. This year, I won the first place, both in the 200-m running race and the 3-legged race. I love playing football and solving mental math problems. I also won a certificate for completing Std. 5 and got to take a photo in my graduation gown with my parents. I like my teachers a lot because they teach me in a manner that I understand and patiently clarify my doubts. I have got to see many new places in the last 5 years, thanks to the field trips which my teachers organized. My dream is to become an engineer.
