Mean Arterial Pressure 70-100 mmHg Average perfusion of a cardiac cycle

Systemic Vascular Resistance 800-1200 dynes (SVR) Measures systemic resistance and reflects afterload of Left Ventricle

Pulmonary Artery Wedge Pressure 8-12 mm Hg (PAWP, PWP) Measures preload of LA &LV, and reflects Left Ventricle End Diastolic Volume

Central Venous Pressure 3-8 mm Hg (CVP, RAP) Measures preload of RA & RV

Pulmonary Vascular Resistance- (PVR) <250 dynes. Measures afterload of RV and reflects lungs resistance
Pulmonary Artery Pressure Systolic (PAP) = 25 systolic and 10 diastolic (Quarter over Dime) Systolic= amount of pressure needed to open Pulmonic Valve and should = RVP when pulmonary valve open. Diastolic = resistance of pulmonary vascular beds when pulmonary valves are closed

Stroke Volume- 60-100 ml/beat. Ejection Fraction- 55-65% Cardiac Output- 4-6L/minute Cardiac Index- 2.5-4. Cardiac output in relation to body mass
