Course Calendar for Document Design Strategy Certification Course for Region 4, 8 Week Online Course The assigned

e-book for this course is a free open source version, brought to us by Austin Community College (ACC) in Austin, Texas USA. The link to the e-book is given below. If you cannot click on it, please copy/paste the URL to a new browser window: http://www.prismnet.com/~hcexres/textbook/#introduction This file contains all your reading assignments, writing assignments, and quizzes, broken down by modules, with due dates and point totals for each module. Refer to it often. The course will follow a specific schedule, which will contain the due dates for all assignments. This schedule with due dates will be available on the course home page in Black Board.. These due dates will be the ONLY ones applicable for this course, so if you just follow the due dates as per the schedule, you will have no problem submitting work on time. I was confused about the due dates is not an option or reason for accepting late work. Most Modules have multiple activities and you are expected to complete all of them by the due date and time. If you are unable to access these links in Black Board for any reason, you MUST submit your responses using email to pbawa@ivytech.edu OR Messages in Black Board. DO NOT wait until after the due date/time to inform me of any such issues as that will not qualify you for make-up. Unless otherwise specified the time for submitting all assignments/discussions/projects will be 11.59 pm, Eastern Standard Time, of the due date. Example: If the due date is 1.24.2013 you must submit all scheduled work by 11.59 pm EST of that date. Once the time changes to 12 am EST and the date moves to the next day (in this case 1.25.2013) you work will be late and you will get 0 points. The details instructions for all assignments as well as their submission venues are available in the respective Module folders in the Modules link found on the course home page. The detailed instructions for the discussions are also available in the respective discussion forums.
