Maximizing the beneficiates of supportive services (workshops and laboratories) in developing the performance of the Educational process in practical

faculties and colleges

Education is set be a strategic tooled which communities depend on to resolve its problems. Thus raising the institutional capacities of the academic and applied researches and studies is one of the supporting pillars for the development of the level of performance within the Egyptian universities. Sciences and applied studies require many resources: labs, workshops and studios, plant and machinery and other supportive services for the educational process. With respect to applied faculties; especially Applied Arts faculties; laboratories, studios and workshops are set to be the pillars of the educational process that integrates theoretical and applied aspects. Meanwhile the with plans of developing curriculum contents learning styles, and output skills the performance of the workshops and laboratories had to be developed in order to cope with the content of courses and applied sciences. On the other hand, enhancing the cooperation between the community, educational institutions and industrial enterprises in order to overcome occurring obstacles of development. As well as take advantage of the Quality programs and systems applications applied in the industries and utilize it in the development of plans, mechanisms of action, activation and performance monitoring of the workshops and laboratories in institutions in order to maximize performance and efficiency process, through the vocabulary of quality systems applied in factories and productive enterprises and service: i.e. working plans, operating instructions and maintenance, evaluation of the performance of students with respect to Applied and practical courses and linking their contents to other sciences and materials. On the other hand addressing alternative plans in case of the unavailability of those machines and equipment in workshops and studios. Meanwhile addressing the current status of workshops and labs, and setting their needs and the possibility for mutual benefit and cooperation between departments and institutions with similar nature. Offering plans that allows monitoring courses via targeted skills with respect to quality status of the equipment and machines needed for the practical applications through the program.
