Cherry Bomb Dog-friendly Cake

Ingredients
1 egg 1/3 cup honey cup vegetable oil cup peanut butter 1 cup shredded fruit or veg (I used half carrot and half apple) 1 cup plain or wholemeal flour 1 tsp baking soda sprinkle of nutmeg cup canned pitted cherries, drained and roughly chopped unsalted mashed potato and dog treats to decorate

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180C (160C fan forced/350F). Line a cake tin with baking paper. 2. Combine the egg, honey, veggie oil, peanut butter and grated greens in a medium bowl. Fold in the sugar, baking powder and nutmeg until well combined. Stir in the cherries until evenly distributed. 3. Pour batter into the cake tin, smooth the surface and bake for 40 minutes. 4. Allow cake to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. 5. Once cooled, cut the cake into 3 layers and fill with mashed potato (you can use natural yoghurt if your dog is not adverse to dairy). Use the mashed taters to 'ice' the cake, then decorate with doggie treats. 6. Treat your dog sparingly
