Kit Good, the Freedom of Information officer at the University has informed me that there were no standardization meetings for the Trusts examination. He explained that in your letter of November 6th you were referring to general approaches to exam moderation in the International Programmes as a whole, rather than a specific meeting for the subject of Trusts. When you sent your November 6th 2012 letter to me did you know that there had been no standardization meetings in Trusts? And, if so, why, when you knew that my complaint concerned my Trusts mark, did you make reference to standardization meetings?

Dear Mr Admon Thank you for your message. I hope that you received an out of office reply and therefore understand why there has been a delay in receiving this message.

Dr Good was correct to inform you that my letter referred to our general quality measures and in doing I sought to reassure you that the University of London International Programmes takes its responsibility for the examinations very seriously and uses a range of appropriate techniques to ensure fairness. I am sorry if your reading of my letter differed from this general reassurance. I did not make specific reference to a standardization meeting for the Law of Trusts paper because I did not know if one had happened for that paper. Best wishes
