CRACKLINES INJECTION To locate all crack lines as shown in the drawing number ALA/12-181/2NDF-01 and to seal off the crack lines to the sufficient length at the satisfaction of S.O/S.O.R by using the following method The Contractor should inform the S.O/S.O.R for the confirmation of the location and the method choosen prior repair. i) Inject low viscosity SikaDur 52 MY LV or approved equilavalent epoxy injection resin for crack width less than 0.2mm as shown in the drawing ALA/12-181/DTL-01 [No 63,70,71,72,73] ii) Inject SikaDur 52 MY or approved equilavalent epoxy injection resin for crack width more than 0.2mm as shown in drawing no ALA/12-181/DTL-01 [No 63,70,71,72,73] iii) Prepare and apply 3mm skim coat with two coats of approved emulsion paint (ICI or equivelent) 8 m

HONEYCOMBED CONCRETE

To locate the defective members due to honeycomb as shown in drawing no ALA/12-181/2NDF-01 or as directed by the S.O/S.O.R by adopting the following methods.The Contrator should informed the S.O/S.O.R for the confirmation of the location and the method choosen prior repair. Rate shall include temporary shoring to the defective member and safety precaution. Concrete substrate must be structurally sound, laitence free, clean and free from dirt, oil, grease or other surface contaminants. All loose or friable particle must be removed. Substrate pull-off must achieve a minimum of 1.5N/mm2 pull off.

a)Honeycomb without expose bar, area<0.5m2 To patch, levelled or reshape to the dimension with Sika Monotop R, or approved equilvalent polymer modified patch repair mortar with Sika Monotop 610 MY as a bonding primer. CONCRETE SPALLING

F3.1 To locate the concrete spalled defect as shown in drawing no ALA/12-181/2NDF-01 or as directed by the S.O/S.O.R, to hack the defective areas using pneumatic tools sufficient to expose rebar The rebar shall be cleaned from rust up to SA 2.5 standard and the diameter shall be measured before and after the removal of rust for the selection of suitable rectification method.The Contractor shall inform the S.O/S.O.R for the confirmation of location prior repair a) For rebar diameter not exceeding 10% of original diameter i) For area less than 0.5 m2 To expose at least 20mm behind the reinforcements To coat the prepared reinforcement with Sika Armatec 110 Epocem, epoxy cement anticorrosion coating or approved equivalent. Patch with Sika Monotop R or approved equivalent all to the satisfaction of S.O/S.O.R. Allow for temporary shoring, barrier or other safety measurements for carrying the works ii) For area more than 0.5 m2 with lesser than 50mm thickness To expose at least 20mm behind the reinforcements To coat the prepared reinforcement with Sika Armatec 110 Epocem, epoxy cement anticorrosion coating or approved equivalent. Pressure grout with Sikagrout 215, dual-stage shrinkage compensated grout or approved equivalent all to the satisfaction of S.O/S.O.R. Allow for temporary shoring, barrier or other safety measurements for carrying the works [No 23] iii) For area more than 0.5 m2 with 50-200mm thickness To expose at least 20mm behind the reinforcements To coat the prepared reinforcement with Sika Armatec 110 Epocem, epoxy cement anticorrosion coating or approved equivalent. Pressure grout with Sika Microcrete 2000, dual-stage shrinkage compensated microconcrete or approved equivalent all to the satisfaction of S.O/S.O.R. Allow for temporary shoring, barrier or other safety measurements for carrying the works
