Infants & Preschool Children
Childcare and teaching are available during the 9:10 and 10:45 hour in the Nursery
and Preschool Departments.
Kindergarten–4th Grade
During the 9:10 hour, K–4th graders gather in the gym and then go to graded
classroom groups for Bible learning and fun.
K–4th graders attend their own age-appropriate children’s church, called KZ
Church, in room 240 at 10:45.
Xtreme AM (5th & 6th Grade)
Our preteens meet in their own Xtreme spot, Room 205, at 9:10 for a time of Xtreme
learning, Xtreme prayer and Xtreme relationship-building.
Youth (Grade 7–12) & Adults
Groups for ADULTS and activities for YOUTH begin at 9:10AM. Stop by
the Welcome Center to find out about each of the groups and how to get there.
Cellular Phones & Pagers
Thank you for turning off or muting your cell phone, pager and other electronic
devices during this morning’s worship service.
Assistive Listening Devices (Auditorium Only)
ALS devices are available for check-out at the Resource Center in the foyer.

 MISSION ONE Reaching others for Jesus Christ

Armijo
Mission Board: ABWE
Location: Iquique, Chile
What do they do? The Armijos
are church planters, having
established the new Mis-
sionary Baptist Church in
Puente Alto in early 2003. They had a growing church there
with a new sanctuary. That church has been turned over to a
national pastor and the Armijos moved 1,100 miles north to
assist in a church plant in Iquique. Robyn is the granddaugh-
ter of the late Mel & Shirley Wellen.
Praises:
• For 6 month furlough housing already provided.
• Many decisions for Christ and spiritual growth.
• Easter Sunday attendance was 117.
• For the arrival of their colleagues, the Garcias.
Prayer Requests:
• For a reliable vehicle for their 6 month furlough.
• For travel details before and after arrival.
• For the children’s school and medical documents.
• That they finish the next 3 months well and leave all in order.
• For the Spink family to join their team in a few weeks.
Boaz & Ruth Glad
Location: Closed Country
What do they do? Boaz & Ruth were born
of Muslim families in North Africa.
They were brought to faith in Christ
through missionaries there. Boaz
previously served as a radio producer,
presenting programs in Arabic. Today
communication technology has
changed to satellite television, local
FM radio and internet. Boaz now serves at the Bible Cor-
respondence Course Department and Ruth answers questions
arriving at their website and forum. Together they visit their
homeland to contact Muslim seekers.
Praises:
• For the release of Ruth and others (18) from prison in-coun-
try for 11 hours--they did not deny their faith. (Evangelism is
prohibited.)
• For successful replacement of Boaz’s pacemaker.
• For approximately 60 underground churches meeting in their
homeland.
Prayer Requests:
• For their TV production studio and Arabic website.
• Wisdom for Ruth as she answers their website and forum; for
Boaz in the Bible Correspondence Dept.

Evangelism International
Location: Malaga, Spain
What do they do? Pablo &
Rosa are nationals, serving
and reaching their com-
munity through Parque
Victoria Christian Community Church/Multi-use Facility
in southern Spain. They emphasize teaching God’s Word to
young families using sports, leisure activities and camps.
Living authentic and transparent lives with Christ as Lord,
the Gallegos stress the importance of discipleship.
Praises:
• The church they serve is experiencing a time of growth and
unity.
Prayer requests:
• For Pablo, Juan Carolos Rivas (Senior Pastor) and Eugenio
Restrepo as they work together; for health, discernment and
spiritual wisdom.
• Plans for a retreat for families and friends of “Family
Junior” in June.
• Financial provision for families who want to attend the re-
treat. The financial crisis in Spain, along with the rest of the
world, is hitting many very hard.
• Funds for a family car.
• For open hearts; protection from the enemy.
Vaughn & Jennifer
Location: Closed Country
What do they do? Vaughn and Jennifer serve with a team
involved in tsunami reconstruction and community develop-
ment. With appropriate technology equipment—earth block
presses and earth pulverizers, they are building sufficient ca-
pacity for the two communities they are serving. The family
is working on better communication in the heart languages
of the neighborhood and country.
Prayer Requests:
• Funds for visa extension costs due in July.
• For final weeks of home school for their children.
• For autumn in the US; scheduling visits and managing the
children’s education.
• For finding good managers for production of building mate-
rials at the training center.
• For building a kindergarten in the village.
• Decisions regarding housing for another year.
• For focused study of God’s Truth with their business partner.
• For mentoring relationships with a national team of commu-
nity developers as they move into deeper relationships with
locals.

I (Howie) am looking for friends to run the Chicago Marathon

to be able to run 5 miles by early June (so you aren’t too far

in AWANA this year. This award is given only
to those clubbers that complete all four T&T
handbooks. In the last few years here at FFC
we have had only a handful of clubbers achieve
this award. To be eligible for this honor, a
clubber must memorize 433 verses. If we add
in the verses these two clubbers said while in
Sparks Club, they have memorized a total of
598 verses. Take a moment to congratulate Cole
and Janae when you see them and remember to include all of our
AWANA clubbers in your prayers. These faithful children are
the future here at FFC. Praise God for the Word of God that they
have hidden away in their hearts.

Sports camp choices include soccer, cheerleading, tae kwon

is $35 if paid by May 22 or $45 on or after May 23. This includes
a camp t-shirt and water bottle.
