Killer Mobile e Total Recall: No recomendo Killer Mobile and Total Recall: Not recomended ENGLISH BELOW ;) A Killer

Mobile desenvolve o app Total Recall. A troca de e-mails abaixo mostra, na minha opinio, que a empresa no se esfora em manter o usurio, aps ele gastar dinheiro com o app. **Ateno: o prprio app diz que, aps a verso 2.0 do Android, a gravao de ligao tornou-se um problema, e praticamente invivel. Se voc chegou at esse depoimento, fica a dica. 1. Comigo, o app funcionou durante um bom tempo. Parou de funcionar quanto atualizei a firmware do celular para Cyanogenmod 10.1. Quando isso aconteceu, arquivos sem contedo nenhum comearam a ser criados. E demorei a perceber, pois o app JAMAIS me deu qualquer notcia de erro. Esse foi o primeiro problema. Um erro bsico como esse, e no foi percebido pelo app. 2. Entrei em contato com a empresa, e, pelo que se percebe pelos e-mails abaixo, a empresa no faz o necessrio para que suas criaes funcionem de maneira duradoura nos aparelhos. Simplesmente porque a Samsung no atualizou a verso de fbrica do android para a mesma verso que eu estava usando, a Killer Mobile no fez nada para que o app continuasse funcional, e nem mesmo para que comunicasse problemas ao usurio. O app parecia funcionar, mas simplesmente no funcionava, e o usurio s percebe quando j tarde e informaes importantes j foram perdidas. 3. Atualizar a verso para que continue compatvel com a ltima verso do Android , no mnimo, um gesto de boa vontade. E mesmo que no seja obrigao, o mnimo que deveria ter sido feito era programar o app para ser capaz de detectar que o som simplesmente no est sendo gravado. 4. O app que PAGUEI para ter foi desenvolvido especialmente para o aparelho que possuo. Porm, esse mesmo app desenvolvido para outros aparelhos (h outros apps com o mesmo nome feitos para outros aparelhos no Google Play). Quer dizer, se no comum que usurios do Galaxy S II tenham a ltima verso do Android, FATO que h usurios com muitos aparelhos que usam a ltima verso. Quer dizer, as mudanas necessrias para que o cdigo continue funcional certamente foram feitas para os apps vendidos para os outros aparelhos. No deve ser muito dispendioso que o mesmo cdigo fosse aplicado ao cdigo do app feito para o S II. Afinal, o app continua a venda. Quer dizer, a empresa continua a desenvolver o app, tem know how para mant-lo compatvel. No o faz por m vontade. Pssima tcnica de ps-venda. 5. Percebe-se pelos e-mails abaixo que no existe uma estratgia consistente no atendimento aos usurios. Os e-mails nem so assinados pelos funcionrios. No d pra saber se quem respondeu um e-mail o mesmo que respondeu todos os outros. Da leitura das mensagens imagino que no sempre o mesmo funcionrio que l e responde os e-mails, o que nitidamente prejudica a qualidade do atendimento, fazendo, como se percebe, que perguntas repetidas sejam feitas, tempo seja perdido, e o problema no seja solucionado. No d pra resolver problemas e tirar dvidas com essa empresa. 6. Aps essa troca de mensagens intil, resolvi desinstalar o app e reinstalar para verificar se algum milagre acontecia. Afinal, eu guardo backup dos meus apps por meio do Titanium Backup. Vrias vezes atualizei verses do Cyanogenmod e reinstalei os apps dessa forma menos comum. Pensei que o app poderia no ter detectado a reinstalao e funcionado sem solicitar ao usurio as modificaes necessrias para que ele funcionasse. Isso tpico de um app ineficiente, mas eu j percebia nesse momento que era isso mesmo que eu tinha. Desinstalei e reinstalei. Ento ele, finalmente, solicitou para Fix Recording. Aceitei e, aps isso, todo, absolutamente todo o audio do meu celular parou de funcionar. Tudo, absolutamente tudo que precisa de microfone e alto-falante ligado parou de funcionar. Telefonar no consigo. No consigo ver vdeos. No consigo usar o YouTube. Nem o SoundCloud. J tentei as estratgias A, B e C, mas nada recupera o audio do celular. Se o app no foi feito para funcionar no Jelly Bean (4.2.2), ele deveria recusar-se a fazer o Fix Recording, e enviar uma mensagem de erro para a tela. Para evitar fazer um estrago como esse. Mais uma falha da empresa, que no se importa com o que o usurio vai fazer depois de comprar seu app. Se der problema, o atendimento ser esse abaixo. 7. No h NADA no app que diga o que so exatamente as estratgias A, B e C. Apenas diz que cada aparelho funciona de uma forma. Pede para o usurio escolher qual a melhor. Muito pouco intuitiva a instruo. 8. O app parece no salvar as configuraes. Configurei para salvar o audio em formato mp4 e na estratgia C. No precisa nem reiniciar o aparelho para ver que as configuraes voltaram ao que era de fbrica. 9. Tem um comando chamado Restore Libraries. Tentei usar, mas diz algo como Falha na restaurao. Ele faz o estrago e no conserta. RESUMINDO: h 6 meses o app que comprei no funciona. Now in English: Total Recall app is developed by Killer Mobile. The app for which I PAID to have was specially developed for the device I own. However, that same app is developed for other devices (there are other apps with the same name made to other devices on Google Play). I mean, it is not common for users of Galaxy S II to have the latest version of Android (4.2.2), it's a FACT that there are many users with newer devices that use the latest version. I mean, the necessary changes so that the code is still running certainly were made for the apps sold for other devices. That's more a fault of the company who does not care what you will do after buying their app. If some problem comes, the service will be like the one below my testimony. 7. There is NOTHING in the app that says what exactly are the strategies A, B and C. It just says that each device works in a different way. It asks the user to choose which is the best. Very little intuitive instruction. 8. The app does not seem to save the settings. I configured it to save the audio in mp4 format and strategy C. I do not even need to reboot the device to see what the settings back to what it was from the fresh install. 9. It has a command called "Restore Libraries." I tried to use, but it says something like "Restore failed". It does not repair the damage. I still can't call anyone. SUMMARY: Since 6 months ago the app I bought does not work.

To: info@killermobile.com I'm attaching the exported config file. Be aware that I called a number that's not in the exclude list. The record strategy is "both". The phone is Galaxy S II GT-9100 (the international version). The operating sys is Cyanogenmod 10.1 (based on android 4.2.2). Ambient recording works fine. Tested today. I realized that the last call that hsd audio was from april/06.

To: info@killermobile.com The record strategy, right now, is A. I was never told anything about it, and never changed anything in it, and is was working fine, at least until dec/31/2012. The app itself doesn't give a clue about what the strategy mean: it just says I can choose. So I kept in Strategy A. As long as I know, I accepted the "Fix Recording" thing the first time I installed the app. After that, lots of updates were made to Cyanogenmod. Several factory resets were made. Some of the times I let Google Play reinstall the apps, some of the times I just recovered all the apps from my Titanium Backups. In neigher of the times, the app actually ASKED to redo the process. As I said, I remember doing it in the first fresh install. If this is a problem, then it's the app's problem, since the user can't simply guess he needs to do something if the app doesn't report an error. Even though, if the app actually had a problem, then why whould've I recorded a call in april/06?

The i9100 isn't setup with a preset for OS 4.2.2 in the app, as that's not a stock ROM OS version option.
