THE CONTACT OCCURS AT SITES FOR WHICH REMEMBER THE TRICK AS:- 1232 -DISTAL SIDE THE CONTACT OCCURS AT SITES FOR WHICH THE TRICK AS :1232 RULE 1 ) these numbers(1232) include are number of teeth in sequence , ie : 1 is = central incisor, 2 include = lateral incisor and canine, 3 include = first premolar , second premolar , first molar, 2 include = second molar , third molar NOW HOW IT WORK : (1232)

1. a)FOR MESIAL surface of maxillary teeth contact occurs at :-

2 JUNC OF INCISAL AND MIDD 1/3

3 JUST HIGH OF JUNC OF INCISAL AND MIDD 1/3

2 CENTER OF MIDDLE 1/3

NOW HOW TO INTERPRET IT:1) Contact at mesial suface of maxillary central incisor is at incisal 1/3 2) contact at mesial suface of maxillary lateral incisor and mesial surface of maxillary canine is at junction of incisal and middle 1/3. 3)contact at mesial surface of maxillary first premolar , mesial surface of maxillary second premolar , mesial surface of maxillary first molar occurs at just high of junction of incisal and middle 1/3 4) contact at mesial suface of maxillary second molar and mesial surface of maxillary third molar is at CENTER OF MIDDLE 1/3 1.b) For distal surface of maxillary teeth contact occurs at :-1232 1 JUNC OF INCISAL 1/3 AND MIDD 1/3 2 center of middle 1/3 3 JUST HIGH OF JUNC OF INCISAL AND MIDD 1/3 2 CENTER OF MIDDLE 1/3
