We are recruiting for the following Senior Positions for our client, a Development Agent undertaking a 5 years USAID

funded project. project Chief of Party: M.S., M.B.A., or other post-graduate post degree in trade, agricultural development, transport, export promotion, on, institutional development or other relevant field. Minimum 10 years of experience working in one or more of the following fields: agribusiness, agricultural development, value chain development, trade facilitation and policy issues, transport, and private private sector development, preferably in Africa. Prior experience as Chief of Party on a USAID program of equivalent size and scope strongly preferred Prior Non-USAID USAID Leadership/Senior Management Experience in relevant technical area (i.e. Trade or Agricultural tural Development) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with institutional and private sector partners and stakeholders in a multi-country multi setting Fluency in English; working knowledge of French preferred Swahili Language Skills preferable.

Deputy Chief of Party: BA degree or equivalent in agricultural economics, international trade, business administration, financial management, or a commerce or a related field; advanced degree strongly preferred 5 to 10 years of experience working in one or more of the following fields: agribusiness, agricultural development, value chain development, trade facilitation and policy issues, transport, and private sector development Prior experience as Deputy Chief of Party on a USAID program of equivalent size and scope strongly preferred Prior Non-USAID USAID Leadership/Senior Management Experience in relevant technical area (i.e. Trade or Agricultural Development) Prior work experience in East Africa or other parts of Africa preferred Demonstrated experience in managing grants or contracts for NGOs or private and voluntary organizations (PVOs.) (PVOs Demonstrated ability to financially and administratively manage a large project as well as running the day-to-day day operations of the project. Fluency in English; working knowledge of French and/or Swahili preferred

Trade Facilitation and Logistics Advisor: MA/MBA/JD/PhD in a related discipline including economics, law, or business. (One candidate must have a JD if the Component Lead is not a trade lawyer) 5+ years of relevant professional experience in trade policy, trade facilitation, trade logistics Direct experience trade policy analysis, border management, trade facilitation, or trade logistics Strong entrepreneurial instincts and skills Strong written and oral communication skills Citizen of an EAC member country preferable

Banking and Finance Advisor: MA/MS/MBA in a related discipline including finance, economics, banking, insurance, infrastructure investment, etc. 3+ years of professional experience in the financial services sector They should demonstrate experience and understanding on provision of finance (d (debt and equity) to the private sector, particularly SMEs. They should exhibit an understanding / experience of agricultural finance, infrastructure finance, and/or trade finance. They would ideally have been involved in initiatives (i.e. product or service service development) which aimed to expand the access to finance for the private sector. Such initiatives could be around, for example, innovative mobile banking, value chain financing, training programmes to the private sector, etc. They would ideally have some som experience on donor-funded funded consultancy projects, but not an absolute requirement Strong entrepreneurial instincts and skills Effective communication and team building skills Citizen of an EAC member country preferable

5+ years of relevant professional experience in private sector ICT design, delivery, or management CMMI or equivalent certification 5+ years experience building buildin and leading ICT project teams They would ideally have experience of developing ICT solutions in the areas of trade and transport facilitation (e.g. customs interconnectivity systems, single window systems, logistics ICT solutions, cargo tracking systems etc.) or market information systems (e.g. price information platforms, commodity exchanges, financial information systems, mobile banking etc.) They would ideally be working for, or have worked for, either a relevant stakeholder organisation for EATH e.g. e.g. a bank, a trade association, a donor, a governmental organisation), or on another donor-funded donor funded project, or for an ICT company in the region Strong written and oral communication skills Citizen of an EAC member country preferable
