Although I do not use tarot cards for prediction, I do use them to gain clarity and insight into issues

in our lives. Although tarot can show current energies, it is ultimately our choices which create our future. Your question was am I on the right path for success work wise? With this question in mind I have drawn 3 cards for you from the Paulina tarot. Cards 1&2 Current Situation Ace of Pentacles + Eight of Wands Both the Ace of Pentacles and Eight of Wands are from the minor arcana. Minor arcana cards represent aspects of our everyday lives, which we can influence over time. Pentacles are associated with security, practicality, and material concerns. The suit of Wands is associated with creativity, passion and movement. The image of the Ace of Pentacles shows a young woman, who appears to be literally growing from the earth. There is a nest of eggs perched on a branch and there are birds joyfully flying around her. My first impression, when looking at this card, is that it firstly seems to show that you really love what you are doing! There is such a free energy to this card, which tells me that, although it can be daunting at times to be solely in charge of a business, you do feel a sense of freedom. The fact that the woman appears to be growing like a tree, makes me think of the phrase from small acorns, mighty oak trees grow. It seems you really are putting your energies in the right place when it comes to your business, and you are starting to see the early signs of growth. The Eight of Wands has a different energy to it. In the image there are eight wands flying swiftly through the air. A young woman in a beautiful dress is holding on to one of the wands as she is carried along. I feel that, although the Ace of Pentacles has shown us signs of growth and that you are really nurturing your business, there is a definite sense of impatience. You could be saying to yourself this is great, but I want everything to speed up, come on!

Cards 3&4 What you need to know - Ace of Swords and the Queen of Pentacles The Ace of Swords and the Queen of Pentacles are both from the minor arcana. The Queen is also part of the tarot known as the Court, which can represent aspects of ourselves, another person involved in the situation, or an actual event. The suit of Swords is associated with intellect, thought, and reason. There is a very definite energy to the Ace of Swords. As it is the first card in the suit, it can represent new ideas and inspiration. It has a uniquely focused quality, which tells us that if you have an idea and want to try something outside the box then try it. If you occasionally lose faith in yourself or feel that youre losing direction, then pull yourself back and wield the power of the Ace of Swords. The card also hints at uncovering truths or a feeling of justice, which is why I wondered whether the legal issue you are dealing with is having some sort of effect on how you feel about your business. Its as though there is some information you are waiting for or a final answer about something. It is also worth noting that we now have two aces already in this spread. The energy brought by aces is the exact opposite of stagnation. They speak of new beginnings and renewed energy within the realms of the suits they represent. If you feel stuck, or that youve reached a plateau, then I feel the Aces are telling you things are just beginning. When I looked at the Queen of Pentacles, I considered a couple of meanings, but now think she actually represents you. The image of the Queen is of a lovely fairy-like woman, who is beautifully dressed and standing proudly in a flourishing garden. The Queen of Pentacles represents a resourceful, practical and nurturing woman, who places a high value on her home life and general feelings of security. If you feel you can lose a sense of yourself at times, then the Queen is reminding you of who you are and what your capabilities are. You are likely to be practically-minded, which is a great asset and addition to the energies we have already seen from the Eight of Wands (creativity and passion) and the Ace of Swords (intellect and reason). Cards 5&6 Advice from the Tarot King of Swords and The Hierophant The King of Swords is a minor arcana card and also part of the tarot Court. The Hierophant is a major arcana card. The major arcana show lessons we must learn as we go through life and major events. I have to say, when I first looked at the King of Swords, I thought he could perhaps represent *****. The King of Swords is a fantastic communicator, a natural leader, and will always seek the truth to a situation. In short, the King of Swords has absolutely no tolerance for time wasters or liars! The Hierophant

can often represent tradition and values, so it didnt seem too much of a stretch to think husband. As we have connected you to the Queen of Pentacles, who is resourceful and independent, Im wondering if we are going back to something we touched upon a while ago. I know you like to be financially independent and feel as though you can stand on your own two feet. Thats an admirable quality to have, however, it is by no means a sign of weakness if you need to lean on him emotionally, or financially, for a short time while the business is getting started. If this has been an underlying niggle, then both of these cards are advising you to try to put these feelings aside for a while, if you can. Summary To summarise and answer your initial question, I feel the cards are generally positive. The Ace of Pentacles and the Eight of Wands show us your passion and enthusiasm and the first signs of growth. The Ace of Swords and the Queen of Pentacles show us that you are, in fact, doing the right things! The Ace of Swords encourages a sense of going for it, using logic and intellect, and thinking outside the box. The Queen of Pentacles, I feel, represents you and the qualities you are bringing to what you do. The advice from the tarot, from my perspective, seems to be for you to ask for, or accept, support (in whatever form) when you feel you need it. Its easy to think that, because we are starting something on our own, that we have to go through it by ourselves.
