Soundslikesomethingoutofthemovies,doesntit?Butthatsexactlywhatweareupagainstaninvisible war!SomeeventsatmyspeakingengagementinJunesharplyremindedmethatthereisaneedtogoback andreviewthebasicsregularly.Agoodsoldiercontinuallygoesbackandpracticeswithhisgunandother weapons.Heconstantlyhoneshisskilltoremainintopcondition.Hedoesntjustlearnhowtoshoothisgun andthenneverusesitagainuntilheisupagainstanenemy.Ifthatwerethecase,hewouldquicklybe killedincombat.Unfortunately,thatsexactlywhatshappeningtoChristians.Theyrebeingkilledorterribly woundedincombat. "PutonthewholearmorofGod,thatyoumaybeabletostandagainstthewilesofthedevil.Forwe donotwrestleagainstfleshandblood,butagainstprincipalities,againstpowers,againsttherulers ofthedarknessofthisage,againstspiritualhostsofwickednessintheheavenlyplaces."Ephesians 6:1112

O.K.,soyouvereadthisscriptureahundredtimes!BUT,haveyoureallythoughtaboutitrecently?Have youstoppedtothinkaboutthefactthateverydayofyourlifeyoucomeunderattackfromtheseunseen powers?Doyouevenrecognizethatyouhavebeenattacked?Ordoyoujuststumblethroughtheday, wonderingwhatGodhasagainstyouwhydoyoualwayshavesuchabadtime?Dayafterday,Iget hundredsoflettersandEmailssayingthisexactthing"WhatdoesGodhaveagainstme?WhydoIhave toleadsuchamiserablelive?" Woeisme!Ihearitoverandoveragain!Iwanttograbsomeofthesefolks andshakethemuntiltheirteethrattle!Iwanttosaytothem,WAKEUP!!GodDEMANDSthatyoustandup andfight!Youareupagainstaviciousenemy.GodneverpromisedthatHewoulddoeverythingforyou, NO,Hepromisedthatyouwouldhavethebattleofyourlife!LookatwhatPaulwrotejustbeforetheverse wejustquoted: "Finally,mybrethren,bestrongintheLordandinthepowerofHismight."Ephesians6:10 DoesthatsoundlikeGodwilldoeverythingforyou?NO!ItmeansthatYOUhavetobestrongandstand andfight.So,letsgetoutourgunsagainandlearnhowtoshotthemaccuratelysothatwecanhitour targets. "Behold,Igiveyoutheauthoritytotrampleonserpentsandscorpions,andoverallthepowerofthe enemy..."Luke10:19 "Andthesesignswillfollowthosewhobelieve:InMynametheywillcastoutdemons..."Mark 16:17 ThroughHisdeathandresurrection,JesusChristmadetheprovisionforthoseofuswhoworshipandserve HimtohaveauthorityoverALLdemonspirits.JesustoldusdirectlythatHegivesusauthoritytotrampleon "serpentsandscorpions"whichreferstodemonspirits,andover"allthepoweroftheenemy."Hegoeson totellushowwearetodothis:inHisname. OurauthorityoverdemonspiritsisinthenameofJesus.Itis NOTinthebloodofJesus.ThisiswheresomanyChristiansmakemistakesandwonderwhytheyget beatensobadlyinanencounterwithademonspirit.Theysaysuchthingsas,"Ipleadtheblood,"or,"I covermyselfwiththebloodofJesus."Neitheroneoftheseisaweapon.Listen,whenyouacceptedJesus ChristasyourLordandSavior,didyounotcomeunderthecoveringofthebloodofJesusinthatinstant? Yes,youdid!Haveyouevercomeoutfromunderthecoveringofthatbloodsince?Icertainlyhopenot!As longasyouaresaved,youareunderthecoveringofthebloodofJesusChrist.AND,thedemonsare attackingyouanyway!JesusmadetheprovisionthroughHisbloodforustohavetheauthorityoverour

enemyinHisname.ThenameofJesusisourweapon.So,youcomeunderattackbyademonspirit,what doyoudo?Youopenyourmouth,speakoutloud,andcommandittoleaveinthenameofJesus.Thats howweinteractwiththeunseenspiritworld:throughthespokenword.Youmustdecidethatyouaregoing to"bestrong"astheapostlePaulcommanded.Thatis,youmakeupyourmindtosetyourwholewill againstwhatevertheattackis.Yourebukeithowevermanytimesittakesuntilyouhavethevictory.For instance,supposeyouwakeupsuddenlyatnight,drenchedinsweat,totallyterrified.Unlessyouheard someonebreakingintoyourhome,youhavenoreasonforthisfear.Itisademonicattack.Whatshouldyou do?Useyourgun!Openyourmouthandspeakoutloudveryfirmly:"NO,youdemonoffeargetoutofhere atonceinthenameofJesusChrist!"Youmustspeaktoitdirectlyandveryfirmly. Youwenttobedfeelingprettygood,lifeisgoingalongfairlywell,andsuddenlyyouwakeupinthemorning depressedandangry.Thewholeworldisblack.Youjustknowthateverythingthatcangowrongwill.Why? Whathappenedduringthenight?Theanswerissimple.Youarereceivingavisitfromyourlocaldemon. Theyhavetheabilitytoputthoughtsandemotionsintoyourmindfromoutsideofyou.2Corinthians10:5 tellsusthatthebattlefieldisinourmind.WeareresponsiblebeforeGodto"takeeverythoughtintocaptivity totheobedienceofChrist."(2Cor.10:5)Whenyouwakeupinsuchablackmood,getoutofbed,plantyour feetfirmlyonthefloor,openyourmouthandshout:"Youdemons,getoutofhereinthenameofJesus!Iwill nothaveyourthoughtsoryourmoods!ThisisthedaytheLordhasmadeandIwillrejoiceandbegladin it!!"Youllbesurprisedwhatadifferencethiswillmake.Thisbattleisunseen.Itisinourheads,mostofthe time.Itisinourthoughts.Ifwedontcontrolourthoughts,thenthedemonswill.Itsthatsimple.Thenumber onesourceofdepressionisanuncontrolledthoughtlife.Jesustoldusaboutthisverysimplyinthegospelof Matthew. "WhenHehadcalledthemultitudetoHimself,Hesaidtothem,Hearandunderstand:Notwhatgoes intothemouthdefilesamanbutwhatcomesoutofthemouth,thisdefilesaman."Matthew15:11 WhatwasHetalkingabout?TheJewsbelievedthatamancouldbedefiledbyeatingcertainthings.Jesus toldthemthatthiswasnotasourceofdefilement.Thedefilementwasshownby"whatcomesoutofthe mouth."Inotherwords,whatamansaysshowswhatisgoingoninsidehismind.Iffilthcomesoutofa mansmouth,filthythoughtsaregoingoninhismind.ThisiswhywearerequiredbyGodtocleanupour mindsandtakeeverythoughtcaptive.WeMUSTtakeauthorityoverthedemonsputtinguncleanthoughtsin ourmindsandputthemawayfromus.Please,gobacktomybookPrepareForWar,andrereadthechapter titled"TheDoubleMindedMan."Readitseveraltimesuntilyougettheconceptclearinyourmind. Ifyoudonotcontrolwhatgoesoninyourthoughts,youaregoingtobedestroyed!Youmusttakeevery thoughtcaptivetomakeitobedienttoJesusChrist. YourFortress Everysoldierneedsafortress.Heneedssomewheresafeandpeacefulhecangotohealandrebuildhis forces.Ourfortressshouldbeourhome.OurhomesshouldbeacleanplacefilledwiththepeaceofGod. TheyshouldbeaplacewherewecangotofindpeaceandatimetoprayandreadGodswordandbebuilt upintheLord.Satanwillalwaysattackouthomes.Hewantsthemtobeaplaceofstrife,noise,confusion anddistraction.Hewantsthefamilymemberstospendtheirtimefightingeachotherinsteadofhimself.He wantstodisruptsleepwithhorriblenightmaresandotherformsofattacks.But,praisetheLord,wehavea weapontodefeateveryoneofhisdesires. Lastmonth,IministeredinNorthCarolinaintheHispaniccommunity.Ididnotknowitbeforehand, butthiscommunityisunderterribleattackbywitchcraft.Theydidnotrealizeit,andmostcertainly didnotknowhowtofightit.ThesecondnightIwasthere,Itaughtonbasicspiritualwarfare.Itaughtthem howtorebukeademondirectlythroughthenameofJesusChrist.And,Itaughtthemhowtoanointand cleanseandsealtheirhometopreventdemonicattack.Someinterestingthingshappenedthatnight afterwards.Iwentbacktomymotelroomandsleptpeacefully.Butthatwasnotthecaseforalotofother people! Yousee,thepastorsjustbrushedoffwhatItaughtandpaidlittleattentiontoit.Buttheywereinforasharp lesson.Itoldthem,"Pleaselistentome,gohometonightandanointandcleanseandsealyourhome.Ifyou willdothis,

Godcanandwillprotectyou."Buttheydidnotlisten.Theysimplywenthomeandwenttobed.Thebrother whoarrangedthemeetingstoldmethenextmorningthatatabout3a.m.hewaspulledoutofbedontothe floorbyanunseenforce,andthennearlystrangledtodeath!HecriedouttotheLordforhelpinhismind, andwasfinallyabletowhisper"GetoutinthenameofJesus!"Immediatelytheforcethatwasstranglinghim easedup.Hestruggledtohisfeetandshouted,"Youdemon,getoutofhereinthenameofJesus!" Immediately,theforceleft.Butitreturnedagainlaterandattackedhimagain.Allinall,hehadaverybusy night!HetoldmehowthankfulhewasthatIhadtaughthimhowtodirectlyrebukethedemonsinthename ofJesus."Ohyes,"Ireplied,"butifyouhadanointedandsealedyourhome,itwouldneverhavegotteninto attackyouinthefirstplace!"Hebegantodoalittlestammeringthen,butfinallyadmittedthatIwasright. Itturnedoutthatthreeotherpastorswereattackedthatnightaswell.Eachoneofthemcametomeatthe meetingthenextnightandtoldmeoftheirhorrifyingexperiencesastheywerephysicallyattackedintheir sleepbydemonicforces.NONEofthemhadbotheredtogohomeandanointandcleanseandsealtheir home.TheysheepishlyaskedmeifIwouldteachoncemoreabouthowtodoit. I,ontheotherhand,wasattacked,butIneverknewituntilthenextmorningbecauseIsleptpeacefullyall night.IalwaysanointandcleanseandsealmymotelroomassoonasIgointoit.ItisoneofthefirstthingsI do.Thenightallthepastorswerebeingattacked,demonscametoattackmeaswell.BUTtheycouldntget in.HowdoIknow?BecausethenextmorningwhenIwokeupandpulledbackthecurtainsfrommymotel roomwindow,Iwasastonishedtofindverypowerfuldemoniccursemarkingsontheoutsideofmywindow. Thosemarkingshadnotbeentherethedaybefore.IamsurebecauseIleftthecurtainsopenonthe windowduringthedaysoIcouldlookout.IshuddertothinkofwhatwouldhavehappenedifIhadnot sealedmyroom!Iwouldhaveexperiencedaterribleattackbysomeextremelypowerfuldemons.Thank GodIwasobedientandusedtheweaponsIhadavailabletome.LaterinthedayIwalkedallaroundthe outsideofthemotel.Mywindowwastheonlyonewiththemarksonit.Clearly,theenemyknewexactly whereIwasstaying. Anotherwomaninthatcitywasattackedalsothesamenight.Shehadbeenexperiencingattacksnumerous nights.Shehadasmalldaughterwhowouldstartscreamingeverynightandthenrunahighfever.Thechild wouldcrymostofthenight.Thedoctorscouldnotfindanythingwrongwithher.Thiswentonnightafter night.ThenightafterItaughtonhowtoanointyourhome,thissisterwenthometofacethesameattack. Butthistimeshehadknowledge!Assoonasherdaughterstartedtoscream,sheranintoherbedroomand anointedherwithoilandcommandedthedemonattackinghertoleaveheratonceinthenameofJesus! Thechildstoppedscreaming,butherfevercameupinstantly.Themotherliterallyranaroundherhome, anointingitwithoil.Assoonasshefinishedthelastdoor,kickingoutthedemonsandaskingtheLordto sealit,shereturnedtoherdaughtersroom.Shefoundthechildsleepingpeacefullywithoutanyfever!She alsotestifiedthenextnightastoherexperiences. Thissisterhadthevictory.Ihadvictory,theattackswereneverabletoreachme.Butthepastorsallpastors hadtofightmostofthenight.Thenextnight,theyanointedandcleansedtheirhomes!Fromthenon,they wereabletosleepincompletepeace.ThereweresomanytestimoniesIdonothavethespacetorepeat themall.Liveswerecompletelychangedaspeoplerecognizedthattheywereinthemiddleofaninvisible war,andbegantostandupandfightback. Pleasetakeafewminutesandreadon.Iwanttoreviewforyouhowandwhyyoushouldanointyour homes.Forthoseofyoureadingthiswhoareinprison,youcananointyourcells.Youwillfindthisagreat protection. HowToAnointYourHome TheLordhasgivenusapowerfulweaponofwarfareintheuseoftheanointingoil.Notonlycanweuseitto anointpeople,butscriptureshowsusthatwecanuseittoanointobjectsandplacesaswell.Ilearnedthis earlyoninmywalkinspiritualwarfare,andhavemetmanyotherChristianstowhomthelordhastaughtthis sametechnique. Itallstartedyearsago,justafterElainesfinaldeliverance(seeHeCameToSetTheCaptivesFree).The witchesintheareaknewshehadcomeoutofSatanskingdom,andtheywerefurious.Theysentcursesat usnightandday.Associatedwiththesecurseswerehundredsofdemons.Myhomebecameaplaceof horrificspiritualwarfare.Thedemonsfloodedin.Theytormentedusineverywaypossible.Theymovedmy

furniturearound,threwusoffthebedatnightinoursleep,triedtostrangleus,afflicteduswithdepression, anxietyandallsortsofphysicalproblems.Iknewtheproblemwasdemonic,andIwouldrebukethespiritsin thenameofJesusandcommandthemtogetoutofthehouse.Theywouldgoout,makeasharpUturn, andcomerightbackin.Clearly,Ineededsomethingmore. Onenight,inutterdesperationIcriedouttotheLord,"Fatherplease,whatcanIdo?Ifeellikemyhouseis anopenthoroughfaretoanyspiritofevilthatwantstocomethrough.Youknowhowthesespiritsare tormentingus.Ijustcantstanditanymore!" AtthatpointtheHolySpiritfloodedintomymindthestoryofthePassoverLambinExoduschapter12.Then Hesaid,"SincethedeathofJesus,therearenomorebloodsacrifices.So,whatwouldyousayisthe counterpartofthebloodtoday?" "Theoil?"Iasked. "Thatisright."ThentheLordalsoremindedmeofthescriptureinExoduschapter40whereHehad instructedMosestousetheanointingoil. "Andyoushalltaketheanointingoil,andanointthetabernacleandallthatisinitandyoushall hallowitandallitsutensils,anditshallbeholy."Exodus40:9 AsIponderedthesescriptures,theLordshowedmethatImusttakeoilandanointmyhouseandsanctifyit holyuntoHim.HealsoshowedmethatthechildrenofIsraelhadanointedthedoorpostsandlinteloftheir homewiththebloodofthePassoverlambtokeepthedeathangelfromcomingin.Nowthedeathangelwas aspirit.Itdidntneedadoortoenterahome.Itcouldgorightthroughthewallifitwantedto.Butthedoor wasanopening,andassuchwassymbolic.Thesedays,wehavemanyopeningsintoourhomes.Doors, windows,airducts,fireplaces,stovevents,etc. Afterprayingandthinkingthisallover,ItooktheoilIhadonhand(cookingoil)andplacedsomeonthe doorpostsandthelintelsofallthedoorsandoneachwindowandthefireplaceandeveryopeningintomy houseexceptonedoor.IspokeoutloudasIdidthis,proclaimingthatIwasanointingmyhomeinthename ofGodtheFather,JesusChrist,andtheHolySpirit.ThenIstoodinmyhouse,andinthenameofJesus commandedeveryspirittoleavemyhousethroughtheunanointeddooratonce!ThenIanointedthelast doorandaskedtheLordtosanctifyandsealmyhome.Thechangewasimmediate!Peaceandquietcame overmyhome.Thedemonsweresealedout,andwerenotabletogetbackintomyhouse.Sincethattime,I havealwayskeptmyhomeanointedandsealed.Aspeoplecomeandgofromyourhome,sometimesthe sealgetsbrokenandyouwillneedtorecleanseyourhome.However,youdontneedtodoeverything,just thedoorsthatpeoplehavebeenthrough.Ifyouhaveacomputerandarehookeduptotheinternet,you needtoanointthecordthatgoesfromyourcomputertothephonejackandasktheLordtosealitsono demonscanbesentintoyourhomethroughyourcomputer.Soundcrazy?Believeme,cursescanandare sentviatheinternet!Also,besuretoanointyourmirrors.Thereisnothingevilaboutamirror,butpeoplecan usethemasdoorwaystoastralprojectthrough. Lateron,theLordshowedmethatIwastodothesamethingwiththegroundaroundmyhouse.Inorderto dothisIputoilintoaplasticspraybottle.AsIwalkedaroundtheedgeofmyproperty,Isprayedalineofoil ontheground.IproclaimedthatmypropertybelongedtoGodandthatIwasaskingHimtotakepossession ofitandsealandprotectit.Beforeclosingthefinalspacewiththelineofoil,Ibrokeeverycurseoffofthe land,andcommandedalldemonsoffofitinthenameofJesus.ThenIfinishedclosingthelinewiththeoil, prayingandaskingGodtosealthelandfromanydemonicintrusion.This,toobringsmuchpeaceand protection. Youcandothistoyourspaceatwork.Areyouexperiencingdemonicattackatwork?Thenanointyour personalworkspace.Yourdesk,yourchair,theareaaroundthem.BUTmakesurenooneseesyoudoing this.YouwouldhaveahardtimeexplainingittoanonChristian.AsktheLordtosealyourspace,andto completelybindupthedemonsinanypersonsteppingintoit.Noonlywillthisprotectyoufromattack,itwill changetheattitudesofthepeoplewhocomeneartoyouastheirdemonsarebound. Bytheway,incaseyouarewondering,thedoorpostistheverticalpiecethatstandsoneachsideofthe door.Thelintelisthehorizontalpiecethatgoesacrossthetopofthedoor.Thesameistrueforwindows.
