3. DEPARTMENTS THE DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Department offers B.E degree (Full time and Part time ) in Civil Engineering M.E with specialization in Structural,Geotechnical,Environmental Engineering and various M.S and PhD programmes.

GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING The post graduate programme in geotechnical engineering was started during the year 2007 and the division is carrying out various research and consultancy projects in various areas of geotechnical engineering. The faculties in the division are active in many fields of geotechnical engineering including soil investigation for shallow and deep foundations,

design of piles and foundation, retaining walls, excavations, dewatering, stabilisation, reinforced soil structures, pavement design and evaluation etc.
