GARMIN GMap60 Software Upgrade Information Software Version 2.50 http://www.garmin.

com -----------------------------------------------------------WARNINGS: If this software is uploaded to a unit other than the product for which it is designed, you will not be able to operate that unit. If multiple attempts to update the software fail, you may need to return the unit to GARMIN for service. Reverting to previous software revisions will clear all user data. -----------------------------------------------------------Instructions for uploading the new software to your GMap 60 using Microsoft Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, or Windows XP: 1) ng It is recommended that you disable screen savers or other programs runni on your PC while you go through the update process. Disruptions to the update process may render your GPS inoperable. If the transfer is interrupted, turn off the GPS and then turn it back on. Reboot your PC, go to step #9 and attempt the download again. If your computer asks for a driver, please see the software and installa instructions that came with your device, or download and install the USB from Garmin's website at www.garmin.com.
