1 PREFACE
Our company may change the features of this mobile phone without prior notice and reserves the final right to interpret the performance of this mobile phone. Thank you very much choosing this product! The policies and procedures outlined in this user manual will be applied at the discretion of O+. O+ reserves the right to deviate from the policies, procedures, benefits, and working conditions described in this handbook. Furthermore, the Company reserves the right to withdraw or change the policies, procedures, benefits, and working conditions described in this user manual at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice.

For Your Safety


Please read these safety guidelines before using your mobile phone to assure the safe and proper use of the phone. Road safety comes first Do not use a hand-held phone while driving. Use hands-free fittings when calls are unavoidable. In some countries, dialing or receiving calls while driving is illegal! Switch off in aircraft Wireless devices can cause interference in aircraft. Using a mobile phone in flight is illegal and risky. This mobile phone is equipped with an auto power on function. Please refer to the mobile phones clock setting to assure that the mobile phone will not automatically turn on during a plane flight. Please make sure that your mobile phone is powered off in flight. Switch off before entering high risk areas Turn off your mobile phone before entering a place susceptible to explosion, such as a gasoline station, oil tank, chemical plant or other highly flammable areas where a blasting process is under way. 4

Observe special regulations Follow any special regulations in force in hospitals. Use your mobile phone with caution near medical apparatuses, such as pacemakers, hearing aids and some other electronic medical devices, as it may cause interference. Interference The conversation quality of any mobile phone may be affected by radio interference. As much as possible, please use the mobile phone in a place away from landline telephones, televisions, radios, and automated office equipment in order to avoid affecting both the equipment and the mobile phone. Qualified service Only qualified personnel may install or repair phone equipment. Installing or repairing the mobile phone on your own may be dangerous and will violate the warranty rules. Accessories and batteries Use only approved accessories and batteries. Emergency calls Ensure the phone is switched on and in service, dial the emergency number. Give your location and state your situation briefly. Do not end the call until told to do so. Note: Just like all other mobile phones, this mobile phone does not necessarily support all the features described in this manual due to network or radio transmission problems. Some networks even do not support the emergency call service. Therefore, do not rely solely on the mobile phone for critical communications such as first aid. Please consult the local network operator. Precautions This mobile phone is well designed. Please exercise special care when using it. The following suggestions will help maintain your mobile phone in good condition: Keep the mobile phone and all its fittings beyond childrens reach. 5

Keep the mobile phone dry. Keep away from rain, moisture, liquid or other substances that may corrode electronic circuits. Do not use or store the mobile phone in dusty places, active parts of the mobile phone may damage. Do not store the mobile phone in high-temperature areas. High temperature will affect quality of electronic circuits and damage the battery and some plastic parts. Do not store the mobile phone in a cold place. Otherwise, moistures will be formed inside the mobile phone and damage electronic circuits when the mobile phone is moved to a constant temperature. Do not throw, knock or shock the mobile phone, as that will destroy the internal circuits and high-precision components. Please prevent striking or hitting the LCD, as this will damage the LCD board. There is a risk of blindness if the liquid crystal substance gets into the eyes. If this occurs rinse eyes immediately with clear water (under no circumstances rub your eyes) and go immediately to a hospital for treatment. Avoid letting the phone come into close contact with magnetic objects such as magnetic cards as the radiation waves of the mobile phone may erase the information stored on floppy disks, pay cards and credit cards.

Battery Safety
Do not disassemble or modify the battery, as this will cause the battery to leak, overheat, crack and catch fire. Please properly dispose of old batteries. Please do not burn batteries as this will cause the battery to catch fire and explode. When installing the battery, do not use force or pressure, as this will cause the battery to leak, overheat, crack and catch fire. Please do not use wires, needles or other metal objects to short-circuit the battery. Also, do not put the battery near necklaces or other metal objects, as this will cause the battery to leak, overheat, crack and catch fire. 6

Please do not solder the contact points of the battery, as this will cause the battery to leak, overheat, crack and catch fire. If the liquid in the batteries goes into the eyes, there is a risk of blindness. If this occurs do not rub the eyes, but immediately rinse eyes with clear water and go to the hospital for treatment. Please do not use or place the batteries near high temperature places such as near a fire or over heating vessel, as this will cause the battery to leak, overheat, crack and catch fire. If the battery overheats, changes colour, or becomes distorted during use, charging, or storage, please stop using the battery and replace it. Liquid from the battery could cause burning of the skin. Immediately use clear water to rinse and seek medical attention if necessary. If the battery leaks or gives off a strange odour, please remove the battery from the vicinity of an open fire to avoid a fire or explosion. Please do not wet the battery as this will cause the battery to overheat, smoke and corrode. Please do not use or place batteries in places of high temperature such as in direct sunlight, as this will cause the battery to leak and overheat, lower performance, and shorten the batterys life. Please do not continuously charge for more than 24 hours. Please place the battery in a cool, shady and well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight. The life of all mobile phone batteries is limited. The usage quality of the batteries decreases with frequent charging. When charging becomes ineffective this means that the battery should be replaced.

Charger Safety
Please do not disassemble or modify the charger, as it will lead to bodily harm, electrical shock, fire or damage to the charger. 7

Please use the recommended voltage supply. The use of any other voltage will cause battery leakage, fire and cause damage to the mobile phone and charger. Please do not use the charger if the power cord is damaged, as this will cause fire or electrical shock. Please immediately clean any dust gathered on the electrical outlet. Please do not place vessels with water near the charger in order to avoid water splashing onto the charger and causing an electrical shortage, leakage or other malfunction. If the charger comes in contact with water or other liquid the power must immediately be switched off to avoid an electrical shock, fire or malfunction of the charger. Please do not use the charger in the bathroom or other excessively moist areas, as this will cause electrical shock, fire or damage to the charger. Please do not touch the charger with wet hands, as this will cause electrical shock. Do not modify or place heavy objects on the power cord, as this will cause electrical shock or fire. Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance please unplug the charger from the electrical outlet. When unplugging charger, do not pull on the cord, but rather hold on to the body of the charger, as pulling on the cord will damage the cord and lead to electrical shock or fire. Please do not charge in the following places: moist or humid places, dusty places or places with excessive vibration (this will cause malfunctioning); near televisions, radios, electronic products (this will effect the picture and sound)

Cleaning and Maintenance


The mobile phone, battery and charger are not water resistant. Please do not use them in the bathroom or other excessively moist areas. 8

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mobile phone, battery and charger. Please do not use alcohol, thinner, benzene or other solvents to wipe the mobile phone. A dirty outlet will cause poor electrical contact, lost of power and even inability to recharge. Please clean regularly.

2.1.2 Keypad Instruction


1. Left soft key: to perform the function of the prompt displayed in lower left corner of the screen. 2. Right soft key: to perform the function of the prompt displayed in lower right corner of the screen. 3. Dial key: to dial and pick up calls; on standby, to see the call history. 4. Hang-up key: to end a call or reject incoming calls; under 9

most circumstances pressing this key will put the mobile phone into standby mode. 5. TV key: press the TV key, you can enter the TV player quickly. 6. Number keys: to enter numbers and letters with the number keys from 0-9; to rapidly select menu items; can dial the number of setting speed dial numbers by long pressing number key, etc. 7. * key: this key has different functions in different modes and menus. 8. # key: this key has different functions in different modes and menus. 9. OK key: In most of the menu, the function of OK key is the same as Left soft key. 11. Alt key: In editing interface, click the Alt key to input symbols or numbers on the qwerty keypad. 12. Sym key: In editing interface, press sym key to access symbols interface and enter symbols of your choice. 13. aA key: In editing interface, aA key is for capitalization.

BATTERY
The battery is initially charged with 50% of its total capacity. You may use the battery until it drained. Please fully charge the battery for the first 3 times to maintain its best quality.

2.1.3 Removal and Installation of the Battery


Warning: You must turn off your mobile phone before removing the battery. Under any circumstances do not remove the battery when the mobile phone is on, this may damage the SIM card and your mobile phone. Follow these steps in removing the battery: 1. Push the battery cover towards bottom2. Raise the battery bottom to remove the battery from the mobile-phone.

2.1.4

Battery Charging

Connect the charger on the left side of the phone. When charging the battery while it is open, the battery Icon will then flash periodically until the battery is fully charged. When charging at power-off status, a charging battery will appear on the screen and continuously flicker until the battery is fully ch arged. If you are using a phone in low battery mode, it may take a certain time for charging indicator to appear on the screen. Charging process usually takes more than 2.5 hours. Battery, phone and charger normally turns hot during charging process. When charging process complete, disconnect connections between AC power outlet, your phone and the charger. Attention: Be sure to charge in ventilated places with the temperature ranging from -10C to +45C, and always use the charger provided by original manufacturer. Using unauthorized charger may cause danger, and also violate warranty coverage of the manufacturer. Charge your battery in time when the phone automatically powers off or displays low battery warning. The phone will automatically decrease charging time when the battery is not exhausted before charging.

CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK 2.1.5 SIM Card


Before using your phone, please insert valid SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card into the phone. SIM card is provided by network service provider. All information related to network connection is recorded in the chip of the SIM card. Names, phone numbers and SMS are also recorded in the card. You can take the SIM card out from your phone and put it into any other GSM phone, which will automatically read the SIM card. 11

To avoid losing or damaging the information stored in the SIM card, dont touch the metal contact surface, and always keep your SIM card away from power and magnetic material. Warning: Be sure to turn off the phone before taking out the SIM card. Its strictly prohibited to insert or take out the SIM card when the phone is connected to the power source, as the SIM card or the phone could be damaged.

2.1.6 Insertion of the SIM Card


Turn off the phone; remove the battery and unplug other external power sources. Insert the SIM card into the SIM slot. When you need to remove the SIM card, please first turn off the phone, remove the battery, then remove the SIM card.

2.1.7 Insertion of the Memory Card


Turn off the phone; remove the battery and unplug other external power sources. Put the Memory Card into the Memory Card slot. In removing the Memory Card, please first turn off the phone, remove the battery, then remove the Memory Card.

2.1.8 Unlocking the Phone Lock


To prevent unauthorized usage, you may set a lock code for your phone. If you choose this option, you must enter the lock code every time you will use the mobile phone

2.1.9 Locking and Unlocking the SIM Card


In order to protect against unauthorized usage, you may also lock the SIM card. You may activate this by using your SIM cards PIN (personal identification number) number. If you choose this option, then every time you turn on your phone you must enter the PIN so as to unlock the SIM card before you use the mobile phone. The user may turn off the SIM card protection. Under 12

such circumstances you cannot prevent the unlawful use of the SIM card. Hold down the Power Supply key to turn on the mobile phone; Attention: Your network provider will offer your SIM card with a standard PIN number (with 4-8 numbers).

2.1.10

Connecting to the Network

When the SIM card has been successfully installed in your mobile phone, your mobile phone will automatically search for the corresponding network of your SIM Card. Once connected, the name of the network provider will appear in the middle of the screen. Your phone supports GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) service. If your network operator has activated your GPRS service you may access the WAP service through the GPRS network. Attention: If Emergency is displayed on the screen, this means that you are already outside the coverage of the network area, but you can still transmit emergency calls depending on the strength of your signal.

2.1.11 Security Settings


This function provides you with related settings about safety use SIM1/2 lock: To set the SIM1 lock, you need to input the PIN. You can set the SIM lock only after inputting the correct PIN. If you turn ON SIM1 lock, you need to input the PIN each time you power on the mobile phone. In the case you input a wrong PIN for three consecutive times; you need to input the PIN Unblocking Key (PUK). The PUK is used to unlock and change the locked PIN. To obtain the PUK, contact the network operator. Phone lock: The function enables you to lock/unlock the phone. Password is required when the phone is locked. The password is 4 to 8 digits. Auto keypad lock: The function enables you to lock/unlock 13

the keypad. Set the auto locking time to either 5s, 30s, 1min or 5mins. The keypad will be automatically locked when no operation is made during the period. Change password: To change the Phone password.

2.1.12

Connectivity

Bluetooth: With Bluetooth, you can make a wireless connection with other compatible devices. You can transfer data, such as music to other device using Bluetooth. Search the device and accept/transfer data. Power: To activate or deactivate Bluetooth as needed. Inquiry audio device: To search audio devices automatically. My device: To search new devices automatically. Active devices: show information of active devices. Settings: Set some parameters of your Bluetooth. About: Provide some helpful information.

3 USER MANUAL 3.1 Characteristic Function


Your devise is a multimedia phone. Not only does it provide all basic features of mobile phone, but also supports versatile, practical and fast multimedia features as follows: Dual SIM: Support dual SIM card in dual standby mode. Phone Book: Quick search easily allows you to find the contact that you need. You may easily send SMS in phone book and copy contacts into SIM card or phone; copy and paste phone book record between SIM card and phone; delete phone book record in SIM card and phone. You may also customize contacts by , assigning ringtones and pictures to it. . Call History: Your phone automatically stores calls for your reference. You may dial phone number in call history or delete a particular call or all calls with speed delete. SMS: Support SMS . This function also allows you to view SMS 14

memory and save contact details to your phonebook. MMS: Send and receive MMS. TV: Quick access to TV. TV Recorder: Allows your to record your favourite TV programs. Camera/Video Recorder: Your phone supports camera and video with customizable settings. Image viewer: Quickly browse photos through your phone. Audio Player: Allows you to play the music in *.wav, *.amr, *.mid, *.imy, *.mp3, format Video Player User Profiles: The mobile phone provides multiple user profiles. Customize the user profiles according to your preference. There are 6 profiles to choose from: General, Meeting, Outdoor, Indoor, Headset, and Bluetooth. ** Need to add in silent** Settings Services: This supports service function of the SIM card. Services will be automatically be added to the phone menu when supported by network and SIM card.

3. 2 Receiving Calls
You can select the different mode to receive calls. If the earphones are already plugged in, you can use the button located on the earphones to pick up the phone. When you connect an earpiece to the mobile phone, the mobile phone automatically enters the Headset mode. There is no option for activating the Headset mode on the screen. If you set Headset > Customize > Answer mode to Auto, incoming calls will be automatically pick up after ringing or vibrating for 5 seconds. If you have set the Any Key, you can pick up the call by pressing any key other than the hang up key, right soft key.

3. 3 Ending a Call
You can press the hang up key or right soft key to refuse an incoming call. During a call you can press the hang up key to end 15

a call. You can also cancel a call you have just dialled by pressing the hang up key.

4 FUNCTION MENU 4.1 Phonebook


Note: This phone is able to save up to 300 contacts and the SIM card memory is determined by the SIM card. Add New Contact: to add a new contact to the phonebook. You can save the number in the To SIM1, To SIM2 or the To Phone. You can further personalize contact information by adding Caller Ringtone and Caller Picture. Caller ringtone: to set a ring tone for the current phone entry. You can press Left/right keys to select incoming ring tones. You can enter the telephone numbers saved in the phonebook into different groups. View: to view the detailed data of the phonebook entry that you have currently selected. Note: If the current telephone number entry is saved on the SIM card, then you can only view the name and telephone number. Send test message: to send SMS to the selected contact. Send multimedia message: to send MMS to the selected contact. Call SIM1 IP Dial: to set up IP dialing number and activating, choose IP Dial, automatically add the IP number before number of dial. SIM2 IP Dial: the function is the same as above. Edit: to edit contents of a particular contact Delete: to delete the currently selected contact. Copy: to copy the currently selected phonebook entry to phone or SIM card. Move: to move the currently selected phonebook entry from phone to Sim and vice versa. Send contact: In this menu, you can send the currently selected contact to another phone by SMS by MMS or by Bluetooth. 16

Add to Blacklist: You can place unwanted contacts in the blacklist. Caller Groups: You can set up your caller groups and select some contacts to join the caller group. Caller Group Detail include group name, caller picture and caller ring tone. Phonebook Settings Preferred Storage: You can set a default setting for the storage of contacts to be saved either on SIM1, SIM2,Phone. You may also choose All, to allow you to choose where to add contact whenever you make a new entry . Speed Dial: This function can turn on/off Speed Dial feature and set speed dial numbers. Select Set Number, press the left soft key OK, enter and select up to 9 contacts to designated speed dial keys. On standby, you can dial the number of setting by long pressing number key. My number Edit your number to be able to send your contact info via SMS ,MMS and Bluetooth . Note: You need to enter your PIN2 number to turn on or off the Fixed Dialling function. Please contact your network provider to obtain the PIN2 number. After turning on the Fixed Dialling function, only numbers in the fixed dialling number list are displayed in the phone book. Memory Status: You can view the total memory capacity and remaining memory space of the phonebooks for both the mobile phone and the SIM card. Copy contacts: to select SIM1 to phone, SIM1 to SIM2 to copy all the telephone entries from SIM1 to your mobile phone or SIM2 card; or to select SIM2 to phone, SIM2 to SIM1 to copy all the entries on your SIM2 to your mobile phone or SIM1 card ; or to select Phone to SIM1, Phone to SIM2 to copy all phone entries on your mobile phone onto your SIM1 card or SIM2 card. Note: When you copy telephone number entries from your mobile phone to your SIM card, only the names and telephone numbers will be copied. 17

Move contacts: Select SIM1 to phone ,SIM1 to SIM2to move all the entries fromSIM1 to your mobile phone or SIM2 , or select SIM2 to phone, SIM2 to SIM1 to move all entries from SIM2to your mobile phone or SIM1; or to select Phone to SIM1, Phone to SIM2 to move all entries on your mobile phone ontoSIM1or SIM2. Delete All Contacts: Select From SIM1,From SIM2 or From phone to delete all the entries in the SIM card or mobile phone.

4.2 Messages
In the main menu interface you can scroll to select Messages then press the left soft key to enter the SMS MMS Broadcast Message main menu and you will have access to the following options: Write message, Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent messages, Delete messages, MMS, Email, Broadcast Message, Templates, SMS settings.

4.2.1 SMS
Allows you to send short messages through the short message service centre. You can edit your short message by entering the Write message submenu.

4.2.1.1 Inbox
Enter the Inbox submenu to view received messages. If you do not wish to read it immediately, after you exit this interface, the envelope icon appears at the top of the screen on standby. The amount of short messages that can be saved (this includes received messages as well as saved messages) is based on the memory size of the SIM card. When viewing the short message list in Inbox, the senders phone number or name is displayed. Messages are arranged in chronological order based on the date and time they were received. 18

When looking at the short message list, you can use the up/ down keys to select the short message. Press the left soft key OK to read the detailed contents of a message, the date and time of receipt and the name) or number of the sender. At this time you can also press the left soft key Option to perform the following operations: Reply: to send a short message to the sender of the current message. Call sender Forward: to select to Send only it to one person, Send to Many, or Send by Group. Delete: to delete the current short message. Delete all: to delete all of the messages in the inbox. Advanced: to insert contact details via SMS

4.2.1.2 Outbox
Enter the Outbox submenu to view the short messages in the mobile phone. After the Outbox short message list appears, you can use the up/down keys to select the short message; press the left soft key OK to read the detailed contents of the selected short messages. At this time you may also press the left soft key Option to perform the following functions: Resend: to send Outbox message from Sim1/2 Edit: to edit the current message. Delete: to delete the current short message. Delete All: to delete all of the messages in the outbox folder. Advanced: can use number Use Number: to extract the number of the sender in the current short message

4.2.1.3 SMS Settings


This function enables you to set the default features about the SMS. Profile settings: Save or modify the short message service center 19

number required for short message transmission, or obtain it from the network operator. Voicemail server: Edit: Edit or delete your voice mailbox number; or select OK to save the number. Call voicemail: Dial the voice mailbox number stored in the voice mailbox number list. Common settings: Set the message delivery report and the reply path. After Delivery report is set to On, the short message service center will send a status report indicating whether the short message you sent has been successfully delivered. This function requires network operators support. Memory status: View the percentage of the memory seized by the short messages in the SIM card to the total SIM card capacity and the percentage of the memory seized by the short messages in the phone to the total phone capacity. Preferred storage: Select the default storage path of short messages, i.e. whether to save short messages to the mobile phone or the SIM cards.

4.2.2 MMS
MMS is a multimedia message service. Its biggest distinction is that it supports multimedia functions and can send text, images, sound and many formats of multimedia data. This needs network operator support. Before using this function please confirm that your SIM card supports MMS. Enter the MMS submenu, the following option will be available: Write Message, Inbox, Outbox, Drafts and MMS Settings.

4.2.2.1 Write Message


In the write message interface, you can determine the following: To (recipients), Cc (other recipients you want to include on your message), Bcc (other recipients whom you want to include in the email without knowledge of the main recipients and CC-ed recipients) .), Subject and Co 20

At the To (recipient) interface you can: Add Number: to add the number. Add Email: to add the email address Edit: to edit the inputted number. Delete: to delete the inputted number . Delete all: to delete all number from the addressee list. When you select Edit Content, press the left soft key Edit to enter edit content interface. You can press the left soft key Options to do the following commands: Done Input Method Add Picture to select a picture from [File Manager] submenu and insert into the current page. Add Audio to select a audio from [File Manager] submenu and insert into the current page. Add Video to select a audio from [File Manager] submenu and insert into the current page. Add Attachment: to add the files to the current page from the [File Manager]. Add Slide Before: to insert the new slide before the current page. Add Slide After: to insert the new slide after the current page. Previous Slide*: to return to the previous page. Next Slide*: to enter the next page. Add Bookmark Text: to insert the bookmark to the current page. Preview: to preview the curr ent MMS. Slide Timing: to set the display time with the current page, the different page can set the different display timing.

Complete editing of the current MMS, press the right soft key to select Done. Then you can select: Send Only, Save and Send, Save to Drafts, Send Options and Exit. 21

4.2.2.2 Inbox
All of received MMS is saved in the Inbox. Enter the Inbox submenu. Your mobile phone will display a list of the MMS in the Inbox. Press Options, to let you can carry out the following operations on the current MMS. Download: to download the current MMS content (if the MMS is not download to the phone). View: to look over the current MMS content. Reply: to edit the MMS to reply sender, at the same time, subject change to Re: and old subject Reply by SMS: to reply sender via SMS. Reply All: to edit the MMS to reply all. Forward: to edit andforward the current MMS Delete: to delete the current MMS. Delete All: to delete all the MMS in the inbox. Note: The network operators must support the Call Cost function for it to be available. SIM1 SMS Counter To view the current SMS counter. This includes two options: Sent and Received. Press the left soft key Reset to clear.

4.3.1.2 SIM2 Call History


The operation of this menu is the same as SIM1 Call History. General Call Settings Caller ID: You can select the ID set by the network, hide the ID, or send the ID. By default, the ID set by the network is chosen. Note: This function relates to the network. If you select Hide ID, dialing may fail. Therefore, make sure that calls can be normally dialed before you choose Hide ID. Call waiting: After you Activate, the mobile phone will contact the network. A moment later, the network will send a message to acknowledge this operation. If the call waiting function is activated, the network will alert you and the mobile phone screen will display the incoming call number if others are calling you while you are already in a conversation. Call diverts: this network function enables you to forward incoming calls to another number you have previously specified. Call barring: The call barring function enables you to bar calls as needed. When setting this function, you need to use a network barring code, which can be obtained from the network operator. If the code is wrong, an error message will be prompted on the 24

screen. After selecting a call barring option, continue to select Activate or Deactivate. The mobile phone will prompt you to input the call barring code and then contact the network. A moment later, the network will make a response and send the operation results to the mobile phone. Line switching: Switch to Line 1 or Line 2. By default, Line 1 is used. Note: If you choose Line 2, dialing may fail. This depends on the implementation of the network operator. Closed user group: This function requires network support. For details, consult the local network operator.

Advanced setup Blacklist: Set it to On or Off to blacklist numbers. Note: This function requires support from the network operator to which the SIM card is registered. Auto redial: Set it to On or Off to enable or disable auto redial. If you set Auto redial to On, the mobile phone will automatically redial when the receiving party does not pick up. 4.7 User Profiles


The mobile phone provides multiple user profiles. Customize the user profiles according to your preference. There are 6 profiles to choose from: General, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor, Indoor, Headset, and Bluetooth. When you connect an earpiece to the mobile phone, the mobile phone automatically enters the Headset mode. There is no option for activating the Headset mode on the screen. If you set Headset > Customize > Answer mode to Auto, incoming calls will be automatically answered. 5 WARRANTY MANUAL
One-Year Limited Warranty for O+ Mobile Phone O+ warrants that this mobile phone (Product) is free from defects in material and workmanship that result in Product failure during normal usage, according to the following terms and conditions: 1. One-Year Limited Warranty is give to the consumer for this product and starts on the date it was purchased. 2. The One-Year Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the Product (Consumer) and is not transferable 33

or assignable to any subsequent purchaser or end-user. 3. During the One-Year Limited Warranty, O+ will repair or replace devices base on O+ diagnosis. Any parts that do not function properly for their intended use because of product failure or malfunction during normal usage will not be charged to the consumer. O+ will also pay for the labor charges incurred during the repairing or replacing the defective parts. 4. Defects in appearance, cosmetic, decorative or structural (Framing/Housing) and any non-operative parts are not covered by the One-Year Limited Warranty. 5. O+ shall not be liable for any other losses or damages. These remedies are the Consumers exclusive remedies for breach of warranty. 6. Consumer must be able to provide the dated bill of sale or dated itemized receipt together with the warranty card once requested by O+. 7. The Consumer shall have no coverage or benefits under this One-Year Limited Warranty if any of the following conditions are applicable: a) The Product has been damaged by external causes such as collision with an object, or from fire, flooding, sand, dirt, windstorm, lightning, earthquake or damage from exposure to weather conditions, Act of Nature, or battery leakage, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source, or damage caused by the connection to other products not recommended for interconnection by O+. b) The Product has been subject to abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, unauthorized modifications, unauthorized connections, unauthorized repair, misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, or other acts which are not initiated by O+, including damage caused by shipping. c) The defect or damage was caused by the defective function of the cellular system or by inadequate signal reception by 34

the external antenna. d) The Product serial number plate or the accessory data code has been removed, defaced or altered. 9. Consumer shall take the following step-by-step procedure if a problem occurs during the One-Year Limited Warranty: a) Consumer shall return the Product (Mobile Phone) to the Service Center for repair or replacement processing. b) The Consumer will be billed for any parts or labor charges not covered by the One-Year Limited Warranty. The Consumer will be responsible for any expenses related to reinstallation of the Product. c) O+ will repair or authorize the repair of the Product under the limited warranty within 30 days after receipt of the Product by O+ or an O+ authorized service center. If O+ cannot perform repair covered under this limited warranty within 30 days, or after a reasonable number of attempts to repair the same defect, O+ at its option, will provide a replacement of the same unit. d) If the Product is returned to O+ during the limited warranty period, but the problem with the Product is not covered under the terms and conditions of the One-Year Limited Warranty, the Consumer will be notified and given an estimate of the charges and the Consumer must pay to have the Product repaired. If the Product is returned to O+ after the expiration of the limited warranty period, O+ normal service policies shall apply and the Consumer will be responsible for all charges. 11. Any implied warranty of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose or use, shall be limited to the duration of the foregoing limited written warranty. Otherwise, the foregoing limited warranty is the Consumers sole and exclusive remedy and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. O+ shall not be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, loss of anticipated benefits or profits, loss of savings or revenue, punitive damages, loss of the 35

O+ shall not be liable for delay in rendering service under the One-Year Limited Warranty, or loss of use during the period that the product is being repaired. 12. O+ neither assumes nor authorizes any authorized service center or any other person or entity to assume for any other obligation or liability beyond that which is expressly provided for in this limited warranty including the provider or seller of any extended warranty or service agreement. 13. This is the entire warranty between O+ and the Consumer, and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements or understandings, oral or written, and all communications relating to the Product, and no representation, promise or condition not contained herein shall modify these terms. 14.
