POPULATION AND SAMPLE SIZE This study base the sampling frame from a list of all graduates of PUP Banking and Finance Batch 2008 which covers the population of the study. A total of 328 graduates from Batch 2008 were computed to get the sample size. The researchers use Lynch et al(1974) to get the sample size. The formula gives 95% reliability in estimating the sample size according to the resource populate. The advantage of applying this formula is that a bigger the population, the smaller the sample size. Since this study involves large number of graduates, that is taken into consideration in using the formula.

Lynch et al(1974): Formula of Statistic Sampling

Where: Z= 1.96(the value of the normal variable for the reliability level of .95. this means having a 95% reliability in obtaining the sample size) p= .50 (the proportion of getting a good sample) 1-p= .50 (the proportion of getting a poor sample) d= .025 or .05 or .10 (the level of error the researchers are willing to consider) N= population size N= sample size

Date Gathering Procedure The data were gathered through a survey questionnaire design to produce information required by the study. The instrument was given by the Department of Banking and Finance a few weeks after the start of the semester. After formally gathering a complete list of the respondents needed from the PUP Tahanan ng alumini, they were grouped according to their demographical areas and were assigned to a researcher who is knowledgeable of the vicinity area and there is a large possibility of finding the respondent. The list of graduates consists of their address, email address and contact number. Since the survey instrument is already validated, it was distributed immediately. First, the researchers did data gathering through facebook messaging, phone call interview, text messaging and e-mailing. If the respondents cannot comply with the given actions, the next approach will be performing personal interview. Also, its purpose is to collect an updated data of their co-respondents if deemed available. The researchers understood that peoples consciousness may also affect their honesty and effectiveness in answering the survey, and so, the researchers gave people the option of being anonymous. Participants were given time to respond and then the researchers collected the survey questionnaire.

After all of the required number of questionnaires was answered, the researchers tabulated the data according to their profiles. IBM SPSS or Statistical Package for Social Sciences was used. STATISTICAL TREATMENT Since the study involves a total of 302 respondents, it will be time consuming to manually tabulate the frequency distribution and percentage of each variable of the study. IBM SPSS Statistics is an integrated family of products that addresses the entire analytical process, from planning to data collection to analysis, reporting and deployment (IMB). The group used Stratified Random Sampling. In this sampling technique, the group got random samples in a population which was composed of PUP BBF graduates of 2008.
