Description: Description: You will develop the skills and knowledge in wide-ranging, highly specialised technical tourism skills covering operations, sales, marketing, product development, business planning, human resource and financial management. These strategic management skills are underpinned by a range of operational competencies, chosen as electives. To receive th e Advanced Diploma of Tourism students must complete 22 core units and a range of Additional units. Tuition Fees: . Course fees for Certificate and Diploma courses include tuition, orientation program, additional study skills tuition, access to libraries, computers and other campus facilities, and assistance from student advisers and counsellors. . Your course fees do not include cost of textbooks, stationery, uniforms, accommodation, meals, health cover, or transport. . Tuition fees are to be paid in full by bank cheque/draft prior to course commencement. Part payment is not accepted. TAFE NSW will not be responsible for any money paid directly to an agent. . TAFE NSW reserves the right to review its fees and charges. If tuition fees are increased you will be required to pay the new fees from the commencement of the next semester. Overseas Student Student Health Health Cover Cover (OSHC): (OSHC): In 2013, the cost for standard Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) per year is A$498 for a single student, $1041 for a couple (student with spouse) and $1752 for a student with family. All international students are required to pay the O SHC for themselves and all dependent members of their family staying with them in Australia. You must provide a copy of your Medibank Private Membership records showing your name, membership number and date of expiry. The Australian Government regulations require payment of OSHC for the length of the student visa. You should check the policy carefully, including the details of what is covered. Optional extra cover is available at an additional fee. It is the students responsibility to check the conditions of this health cover.
