Beside that, the date of the marriage is also will be decided and confirmed. Future more, for the Haldi ceremony family members will do all the preparation the forthcoming wedding in the groom dan bride house. We apply a paste made from herbs, vegetable oils, fresh milk curds, sandalwood powder and primarily turmeric on the face, arms and feet. After the Haldi ceremony, the Mehendi ceremony take place. Mehendi is the application of henna as a temporary form of skin decoration. A professional henna designer or family members will apply Mehendi to bride hands and feet. My dearest friends, Secondly, I would like to explain about Kanya Danam. Wedding Kanya Danam is performed by bride father. The bride father pours out a sacred water symbolizing to give away of his daughter to the groom. After that, during Muhurthum the priest chants mantrams and groom ties a Thaali around to bride neck with three knots. When the groom tie a Thaali and all guests shower their blessings by rice grains. Then, the bride and groom take seven steps around the holy fire, that called Saptapadi. Each step is aims at involving the blessings of God. Later the groom will places the silver toe ring on the bride toes on grinding stone. After the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom came back to groom house. The wedding house will decorated beautifully. When entered the house, the bride will lights up the Kuttu Vilakku. Then the groom and bride get parents blessings. After finish all formalities in groom house, the new couple came back to bride house and they will stay there for 3 days.

On the third day, the bride family members sent the new couple to groom house.
