This does promote promiscuity because people know that they are immune to the disease which will make them more likely to be promiscuous.

Resistance to the spread of infectious disease in a group because susceptible members are few, making transmission from an infected member unlikely. This applies to the debate because some people think that they arent susceptible to disease and do things carelessly which leads to the use of contraceptives.

I believe that this provides an alternative for someone not wanting to get pregnant because they are taking accountability for their choices, they are given more choices.

Level 5: How is this similar/different than the abortion pill (RU-486)? An abortion pill is used to create a miscarriage. It works when you are pregnant for less than 9 weeks and
emergency contraception works within only 5 days. They both stop pregnancy but the abortion pill can be used when you are already pregnant.

What is Illinois Law exactly? Parents can leave a newborn that is less than 30 days old, not abused, or neglected without being questioned. They can do this anonymously.

It provides an alternative for a child because it provides a safe and caring home for the child. Level 5: How do state laws vary on this? State laws vary on the age of the baby (ex: in Hawaii the baby must be less than 72 hours old but in Georgia the baby cant b e more
than a week old).
