Part I: How to open an image in Pic Monkey

First, open your browser

Type www.picmonkey.com

Hit enter in your keyboard

Open your photos in two ways -

1. Select an image you want to edit from your computer

And drag the image towards Edit a photo

and when the documents folder opens, double-click the image you want to edit
Wait for Pic Monkey to load the picture

Viola! This will be your workspace

From here, you can start editing your pictures!

Part II: How to use Basic Edits

On the left side is your Pic Monkey Editor

The Basic Edits will be the first tool to show up

It contains basic editing tools like: crop, rotate, exposure, colors, sharpen and resize
Pic Monkey also has an Auto adjust feature

Click Auto adjust to see what Pic Monkey thinks is the best editing for your image
You can also explore other tools by clicking the editor icons on the left side

You will see that theres lot of editing options to choose from!

Lets have a quick look at them:

Open your creative side as you begin

Crop the image first, click Crop

The image will appear like this, click and drag any corner to adjust

When done,

Clicking Apply will save the changes made

Just in case you change your mind, just click the Undo button above
When the color needs some adjusting, go and click Colors

You will then see the Colors toolbar:

Adjust the Saturation by moving the slider left or right

When youre happy with the effects, click Apply

Next lets do some sharpening, click Sharpen

To go to the Effects tool bar, click the funnel-like icon

There are various touch up tools for the skin, mouth, eyes and the rest!
Just click the lipstick icon for the Touch up toolbar to appear

For this picture, lets use Teeth whiten

Click the Teeth whiten tool

Adjust the brush size by moving the slider left or right

Point and click the white circle cursor over the teeth

Drag the pointer over the subject

Notice the whitening effect on the teeth

Do this repeatedly until youve covered the entire teeth

Part V: How to add Text on the image

Next stop, lets insert some text by clicking the P icon

The Text tool allows you to add and resize the text

Explore among a variety of fonts styles

Click the desired font style

A text box will appear. Click inside the text box,

Click the Overlay icon, the one with the heart, star and comic bubble images

The comic bubble will appear over your image

To resize: click and drag the corner of the overlay

To send it backward, right-click the mouse

To go to Themes, click the pumpkin icon

Part VIII: How to save your masterpiece

Click the Save button above the image

Pic Monkey will ask you to edit the file name and file type
Click the text box and type in your desired file name
Click the drop down menu and choose the file type
Next, select the quality type you want to save the image
Choose from the following quality types:

Roger -> not great quality, tiny file size

Pierce -> great quality, good file size Sean -> gorgeous, but large file size

Click your choice of image quality

When your done, click Save photo

Your documents will appear, just click Save

Part IX: How to share your masterpiece to the world

If you want to brag a little, you can share it to the world

Click Share above your edited photo

Click the Twitter icon
