The law of increase

The Law of Increase simple states that when you give, you receive more in return. For example, the more you invest in your business, the more it grows. Like all of the Laws, the Law of Increase applies to every aspect of your life, not just money and business. The more you invest in your personal growth, the better you become and the higher your potential becomes. The more you invest in your relationships, the more you get out of those relationships. The Laws of Increase deals with increasing and improving every aspect of your life. It is not about giving in a charity aspect. It is about giving or investing of time, love, teachings, investment dollars, compliments, encouragement, listening, value, inspiration, etc. How do you feel when someone pays you a compliment? It makes you feel good, right? So, when you meet people, whether you already know them or are meeting them for the first time, look for something you can compliment them on. Make sure you are sincere. People can sense when you are not being sincere or genuine and your compliment will have the opposite effect of what you intended. The more you step outside of your comfort zone and expand your mind and experiences, the more you learn, grow, build confidence and self-esteem, increase your potential, etc. Taking risks, bravely facing your fears and stepping outside your comfort zone increase your chances of attaining your dreams and reaching your true potential. You dont want to look back on your life and wish that you had taken those steps, wondering what you could have been or what difference you might have made in the world. Dont have any regrets invest in yourself and others, invest in things that inspire you, invest in your business and in your dreams and witness the power of the Law of Increase as you reach your true potential. ***The Law of Increase is also about expressing gratitude. When you live with an attitude of gratitude, you are in harmony with the things that you appreciate and desire in life. You can see how all of the 11 Laws are interconnected here consciously being in a state of gratitude attracts more of the things that you are grateful for. Think about how Ebenezer Scrooge became grateful for all of the things and people in his life. He became generous, not just with money, but also in his relationships and expressing his love. How much joy did his gratitude and generosity bring him? How much did this increase the quality and value of his life. Before Scrooge saw the light, he was rich, but not wealthy. He became wealthy financially, physically and spiritually when he became filled with gratitude and generosity. The Law of Increase deals with increasing and improving every aspect of your life. No matter how great your life is, there is always room for improvement and growth.

The law of increase explains that whatever you are grateful for, you are sure to receive more of it. This is because you are sending your gratitude to the universe, and as a response, it sends back more things you are grateful about. It is the natural reaction of the universe to manifest more things you are thankful for. Gratitude is an action you take and the manifestation of more things you are grateful for is the natural reaction. This never changes. It is as certain as the law of gravity. It is very beneficial to have a gratitude journal. I had mine for a long time, and every day I feel so happy and excited to list all the things I am grateful for. I usually list around 15 things I am grateful for, but you may list less than that, or even more if you like! When you feel grateful you raise your vibration. This makes you a vibration match for what you are grateful for. I have noticed that I receive more of what I am thanking for instantly or after a short while. However, I am not sure if it is the same with other people. This law not only explains the gratitude, but also how the whole universe works. Everything is always expanding, growing and multiplying. Our desires grow, we advance in our education and knowledge. As soon as you get a thought, you are sure to get more and more related thoughts. If we would not advance and grow we would stagnate and then death would settle. We naturally know this and constantly move forward. But what if you want something you do not yet have? Then you should thank for things that you have at the moment that you appreciate. For example, if you do not like where you live, at least be grateful that you have a house or a place to sleep. This will bring you better surroundings. Also, if you visualise well and can convince your mind that you already have your desire, you can also thank for that vision of what you want. However, you should feel as though you already have what you wish. That will quicken the manifestation of your desire. There is evidence of the law of increase everywhere. In nature flowers and trees grow and blossom and seeds spring into life; Human desires always get bigger; We get more and more knowledge; Technology advances every minute. Although the law of increase works naturally, you can also use it consciously. To use this law consciously requires gratitude. Gratitude triggers response from the universe to manifest more things you are grateful about. The law of increase will benefit you greatly and it can be applied instantly to your advantage.

Abundance Prayer
From The Light of God that I Am. From The Love of God that I Am. From The Power of God that I Am. From The Heart of God that I Am. I DecreeI dwell in the midst of Infinite Abundance. The Abundance of God is my Infinite Source. The River of Life never stops flowing. It flows through me into lavish expression. Good comes to me through unexpected avenues and God works in a myriad of ways to bless me. I now open my mind to receive my good. Nothing is too good to be true. Nothing is too wonderful to have happen. With God as my Source, Nothing amazes me. I am not burdened by thoughts of past or future. One is gone. The other is yet to come. By the power of my belief, coupled with my purposeful fearless actions and my deep rapport with God, my future is created and my abundance made manifest. I ask and accept that I am lifted in this and every moment into Higher Truth. My mind is quiet. From this day forward I give freely and fearlessly into life and Life gives back to me with magnificent increase. Blessings come in expected and unexpected ways. God provides for me in wondrous ways. I AM indeed grateful. And I let it be so.

Giving praise to God is among the most powerful ways to speed up the delivery of the things that we want. This is the Law of Increase and it is a principle that has been in existence for thousands of years already. It is evident in the Holy Bible as well as in other antediluvian texts. Citizens of the ancient world brought presents to their deity. They also danced and sang to show gratitude. And today, there are still some people who choose to perform the same practices for their gods. However, these actions do not have any effect on God. The Universal Laws will not even grant you any favor. But instead, it will personally affect you. Praise complements faith. It makes your faith powerful and accelerates your prayers to attract the good things around you. It also transforms ethereal goodness into physical things that you can utilize.

Whenever man applies the Law of Increase, he raises his consciousness toward a higher realm. Then, he turns into a channel that receives the good things that await him. He becomes attuned with the Universal Laws; making him closer to the Universe as well as to the divine energies around and within him. Praise is the fastest means to acquire your requests. It broadens the mind, so that it can see better things
GOD's Laws Of Increase

Law #1 Seek The Kingdom Of GOD

There have been many books and commentaries written about GOD's (YHVH) plan for your prosperity. Few rarely mention and some never mention, that the true path to wealth is being in the Kingdom of GOD and living a righteous life according to GOD's Word and obeying his commandments. {Matthew 6:33; 1John 3:22 (KJV)} Poverty in all its forms is a curse. {Malachi 2:2; Galatians 3:10 (KJV)} GOD is your loving heavenly father. He owns everything {Psalm 24:1 A psalm of David. The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.; Haggai 2:8 - The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the LORD of hosts. (KJV)} and he wants to bless you and give you the power to get wealth. {Deuteronomy 8:18 - u shall remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day. (KJV)} However; you must first enter GOD's Kingdom by being born from above; commonly called, being born again. {1 Peter 1:23 (KJV)} For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. Satan does not want you to be born from above, redeemed from the curses, be free or have life and have it more abundantly. {Psalm 36:8; 132:15; John 10:10 (KJV)} Satan wants to destroy you; either by your attitude, mindset, arrogance, intelligence, self righteousness, perceived or believed social status; education, ethnicity; habits, lifestyle, ignorance, stupidity, immorality or narcotics and especially with the lack and love of money. Satan is a liar. {John 8:44 (KJV)} Jesus came and died to save you {John 5:24; Romans 10:9-11 (KJV)} and by GOD's Grace, you can be saved.

Law #2 Apply Business, Banking And Sales Principles

Learn the ways of merchants and bankers. {Zechariah 9:3; Acts19:24-25 (KJV)} Being wealthy and having lots of money are two different things. You can have lots of money and no real wealth; and you can have little or no money and still be wealthy. However; the vast majority; unfortunately, equate having lots of money with wealth. The methods and means to acquire lots of money have not changed in thousands of years; such as commerce, trade, mining, manufacturing (craftsmen), buying and selling goods and services and banking and finance. {Nehemiah 13:20; Isaiah 23:8; Ezekiel 27:15-24; Act 16:14; Deuteronomy 23:20; Matthew 25:27 (KJV)} Having or desiring a lot of money is not a sin. {Ecclesiastes 7:12 Wisdom and money can get you almost anything, but only wisdom can save your life.} The sin is loving money more than GOD. {1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV)} The only way known to man to have real wealth is in the Kingdom of GOD. From a practical point of view, save and invest your money wisely. GOD commends you for wisdom in business and financial matters be you saint or sinner. {Matthew 25:14-28; Luke 16:8; 19:12-26 (KJV)} If you do not have the skill or a desire to go into business, remain a worker/employee; remember, you deserve the wages you get and agree to receive. For it is written: "A labourer deserves his reward." {Genesis 29:15; 30:28; Luke 3:14; 1 Timothy 5:18 (KJV)}

Law #3 Renew Your Mind, Acquire Knowledge, Set Goals

In order to enter GOD's Kingdom you must obey His Laws, Commandments, Ordinances, Statutes, Judgments and His Words. This will lead you into righteousness. Only in righteousness will you grow and develop to your full potential, transform yourself by renewing your mind and acquiring the knowledge that will save you and benefit you financially. Find a righteous direction for your life, then write down your goal or vision for your future. Then live your vision in faith believing. {Exodus 35:30-35; 2 Chronicles 1:11-12; Psalm 51:10; Proverbs 1:7; 2:6; 18:15; 23:12; 24:5; 29:18; Isaiah 5:13; 40:31; Daniel 1:4; Habakkuk 2:2-3; Romans 12:11-12 (KJV)} God has promised to bless you and your children if you are faithful to keep His Word and obey his commandments. He said he would give you increase. Don't settle for lack. {Job 36:11 - If they listen and serve him, they complete their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasantness (KJV)} You don't have to continually struggle and stay behind while you watch others prosper. You can prosper too! It is GOD's will that your needs are met. {Luke 12:21-32 (KJV)} Just as Jesus provided salvation for your soul, he also provided for blessing in every area of your life. {John 10:10 (KJV)}

Law #4 Use The Kingdom Laws Of Sowing And Reaping

Jesus paid the price, redeemed you from the curses and made it possible for you to enter GOD's Kingdom. When you enter GOD's Kingdom, you are entitled to supernatural financial

increase on whatever you sow and in the measure that you sow. {Luke 6:38 (KJV)} Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." In GOD's Kingdom seed is given to the sower. {Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,} When you sow into GOD's Kingdom, you will have more than enough to meet your needs and be a blessing to others. {2 Corinthians 9:6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.} In GOD's Kingdom the only currency that has value is faith, without faith you can not please GOD. {Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.; Romans 4:16; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)} You are also entitled to physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual healing. {Isaiah 53:46; 1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)} By your faith you are healed. {Matthew 9:22; 29; 15:28; Mark 5:34; 10:52 (KJV)}

Law #5 Continue Tithing From Your Increase

When you have increase, continue tithing from your increase. {Deuteronomy 14:22, 28; 26:12; 2 Chronicles 31:5; Proverbs 3:9 (KJV)}

The Law of Sowing and Reaping-5 Operate Gods Laws

2 Cor 9: 6 -8 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: Law of Harvest applies to everything. Gods laws of increase are many and we have seen many of them. The law of sowing and reaping is the all-important law of increase. In the NLT translation, 6 Remember thisa farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. The bible talks about how God wants to multiply you using the law of multiplication! You may have heard that all truth is parallel: it means whatever works in agriculture is true in every realm. The 30-60-100 fold return the bible talks about is not limited only to the harvest of crops: God multiplies everything this way: v 6 may be put thus in simpler terms: the amount of seed directly affects the amount of harvest you will have! This is a law of life: (this is Gods law whether we agree with it or not).

8. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. When a person gives, God is able to give back to them much more than what you have given: this is the law of harvest. You have to give God something for Him to multiply! You must have a seed for the increase to happen. 9 As the Scriptures say, They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.[b] 10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity[c] in you. 11 Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. 2. God gives seed to the farmer Many Christians complain that they do not have anything to give: But the bible says God gives seed to the sower. Why do some have nothing to sow? The text does not say God gives seed to the Christian: he gives seed to the sower! Are you a sower? Gods word is true: if you are not a sower, and get right with God and tell him you are a sower, and God will surely get a seed into your hand to sow! Many Christians do not understand the law of harvest! I do not have anything to give: How can I? The real reason is they do not want to give; that they do not have is simply an excuse for them not to give! God guarantees that he will get seed to you if you are a giver: You will see that when you make start giving; God will surely get seed into your hands! He has promised He will give seed to the sower! Sower Christian. Many passages in the bible are similar to this and none of them talk about a Christian! We have seen how God will take the wealth of the sinners and give it to the hand of the righteous Many interpret it to mean that God will take the wealth of the non Christian and give it to the hand of the Christian. No! God did not say that! He will take it from the wicked( the one who will not use it for Gods purposes, who is not generous and will not give), and does not give it to a Christian just like this wicked man, but gives it to a man who is a giver who will generously distribute and sow! Paul states these things since he believes the principles of God! He talks about money in ch 9 and that God will give whatever we give in return and much more! 3. A Sower will always have seed. If you are giver you will never lack anything, you will have always seed to give! Seed faith is not something new! It is true Oral Roberts popularised it, but all truth comes to the fore when someone gets enlightened about it, and we rediscover this truth that was already in the bible! Seed faith means that we have faith that a seed will multiply. We have faith in the seed and in its ability to multiply! We call it seed faith! We believe that if we sow we will reap! We believe that a seed will multiply! We are challenged to see it this way right from the book of genesis through revelation!

All animal and plant life multiples by this principle! The very first recorded promise of the coming messiah, made in the Garden of Eden: Gen 3: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. God talks about a seed; the salvation and deliverance of humanity from the hand of sin and Satan is going to come in the form of a seed! The seed of a woman. He believes that if He gives a seed, that seed will grow up and all of humanity will reap the harvest of that seed. God believed in the seed of the woman! Gen ch 1 records everything multiplies by a seed; if you want more, take the seed and plant it, there will be more! Man created a problem through sinning, but God answered that the solution will be salvation through another seed! Gen 1 record how the church exists today in the form of a seed 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Seed is Gods Idea. God has put the seed within every plant and herb: you could start with it and literally fill the whole earth with the plants and trees and humans you want! Ch 3: 15 talks of the seed of the woman. God was going to start again with the seed: redemption and salvation begins with a seed. Gen 12: 1 1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy fathers house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Gal 3: 3 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. God desired that all the nations of the world shall be blessed through Abraham. How is that possible? V 29 29 And if ye be Christs, then are ye Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise. Christ is the seed, who came out of Abraham, and we are all part of the harvest; we are blessed with the blessing of Abraham through Christ! The church today is something that resulted from the seed faith principle. All the families of the world shall be blessed- through a seed. That seed is Jesus Christ. It proves how much God believes in the seed: He has absolute faith in it since it is He who began it! Even in finances, the seed faith principle is a better principle than anything else. The same applies to every other area as well- time, resources, relationships etc. However let us look at money a little since it can be understood easily. Human System is driven by selfishness. Today the whole financial world is in turmoil; even big companies have been found to be cheating- insider trading, scams, buying and selling according to inside information, some make a lot of money, others lose a lot of money. Banks have found themselves lending money to those who are unable to pay back the loan and are unable to collect back. Crises abound because the human system has gone wrong despite

education and controls in place! Why is the system in the world a failure? It fails because the system is driven by selfishness! All men are sinners; the world is a sinful world: any system devised by the world will have a trace of sinfulness and selfishness in it! We do not mean to say everything is bad: there are traces of good too! Whatever good there is is because man is made in the image and likeness of God. Accordingly, a lot of business houses are noble and philanthropic too. But somehow somewhere selfishness gets in; in the business of making money selfishness is unavoidable because it is mans nature as part of sin. When we talk about prosperity we do not talk of it in the worlds terms; we do not bank on the worlds system! Some banks have even closed down in Indonesia a few years ago; customers who deposited five lakhs found it had reduced to 50,000! The 401 K pension scheme that people in the US find it has coming to nothing! Some have lost everything. After working and saving all their lives, they find they have to continue to work hourly wages after retiring, since their savings have come to nil value! It is because their belief has been on the worlds system and not on God system. However, here we are teaching Gods system and Gods principles! Gods principles are so superior: Banks and financial institutions have failed, but God has not failed so far! Gods system is based on the miracle of the seed. Why does Gods system never fail? It is because Gods system is fundamentally based upon, the system of sowing and reaping! Nothing can go wrong here: the farmer cannot multiply his seed through insider information! No, he cannot manipulate it: whatever you sow, that you will rep! You will reap in proportion to what you sow: (you may wish it was some other proportion but, the law of sowing and reaping cannot be manipulated or tweaked despite your needs being so great!) No one can cook the books in this system! (Income tax officials have released information that some have paid taxes on money they never earned!) No manipulation is possible in Gods system of sowing and reaping! Is it worth putting money where the manipulation being done is unknown to us? When you sign up, the rates of interest are pronounced higher; a few months later, the rates are reduced in a letter that has that information in small size font! You need magnifying glasses to read them. Clauses that are in fine print that prevent you from doing anything if they do not honour their word! The court or police or grievance cell can do little: since the inside manipulation is so much! But Gods system is so straightforward! I believe that if I give, I will never lack anything! Lu 6: 38 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Gods methods are higher than Mans methods. This system is not according to human mind or invention, but according to Gods superior mind and thinking. Is 55: 8 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: The system of God is aimed at blessing and increasing us: it cannot be manipulated! No farmer can sow onions and fancy to reap potatoes! His harvest is in proportion to his sowing.

There is no room for manipulation: god must do a miracle of multiplication for the farmer to reap. Keep-your-money-safe Scheme. Will my investment / seed bring an increase? The human institution guarantees this or that much, but nothing can be guaranteed. We ought to be wary of those who promise too much: (gold schemes and money schemes) It is written on the wall: they promise what they cannot do! However when you sow the seed in the sowing and reaping principle, nothing can be done with it unless God causes a miracle within every seed and bring an increase. Guarantees by banks and financial institutions boast of keeping your money safe or guaranteeing a good return. If everything works out good it is alright; after putting in the money, you will be wise to read the fine print: But God has no small small small small small letters! I even have bold letter bible with the words of Jesus in red! Jesus says I said it. When His claim seems incredible: He even says Verily, verily I say unto you Verily, Verily; Gods Guarantee. And I verily verily believe it! I believe Him more than any financial institution. I believe that God will supply all my needs; I believe that God will never do me wrong! I believe that if I give to Him he will never let me down. It shall be given because He said so! Running over. I have chosen to believe in Gods system: I testify to the fact; so far so good! Gods system works; it has worked so far! Whatever God has given is better to be used as seed; and I am increasing. There is no reason why it will not work for you: Let us trust the red letters, the bold letters, and the plain writings the bible; the promises of God! Bring in the tithes to the storehouse room not enough to contain. Neon Light schemes. People do not believe the bible but fall for the financial institution with big neon lights saying They fall for the stainless steel vessel and free tote bag more! They are pressured into investing today: tomorrow you will not get the vessel, the next day no suitcase, no gold the next! But God has no such scheme! Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. No Compelling. Is there any compelling in this passage? If there is any compelling, remember it is not the right Company! Even some Christians may use some manipulation, because they are ignorant of how God wants to have our needs met! A man said on the radio, If you so not send in the money today, there will be no program tomorrow! Do not pressurise me or manipulate me! Tell me the truth- let God lead me, let me whole heartedly with faith do it! However even many hearers are not impressed with this truth speaking: they fall for the neon lights, free suitcase free steel vessel. They sink in their money while falling for the suitcase! Giving away one hundred thousand for a suitcase is a steep price! Youd better keep the suitcase very safe! God will never sell you a suitcase for one lakh! God will meet you at whatever level you are, give you seed to sow, multiply your seed, so you will have more to sow! Gods ways are much higher than mans ways!

Gods system is better- Experience it. As we gain in experience, we can see how Gods system is better: Understanding farming is important since God deals with us in that way. The bible talks about way side, birds, weeds, thorns, and what they mean to a farmer; Jesus uses these things to teach us things regarding sowing and reaping. Therefore it is worth to learn those lessons. Learn the Nuances of Gods system. We may not discard them as not relevant to our day; even the most hi-tech amongst us has to use farm produce to placate our r hunger and survive! All the high tech people are also born the same way the first farmer was born; people face the same problems today that past cultures and civilisations have faced. So it does not matter whether it is family or finances, these farming examples have a lot to do with our lives; only its embedded another type of language! Demystifying this language code is part of the preachers job! God principles are not only higher, they also are enduring; they never change! Not one of Gods laws is dependent on our understanding it! Those laws do not operate because of your knowledge of them; they operate despite it! I will not float down softly in the air if I jumped off a ten storey building just because I did not know about eh law of gravity! Ignorance does not suspend Gods laws from operating! God is no respecter of persons! The meaning of this verse is God does not bless someone because He likes their name or face! Neither does he go drawing lots whom to bless today! Eenie meeni myni moe Catch the chicken by the toe How does He bless people? God operates so much by his laws, that there is no way He can act as a respecter of persons! If you jump of a 10 storey building and die, do not say it is Gods will that I should die like this!No! No! You jumped off the building; you did not care to know Gods Law or respect His law! If you abuse Gods law, it can hurt you! A knife can cut onions or it may kill you! No one will ask you for a licence to sell a knife to you! They expect that you would use it for cooking! Dont some use it to kill people? They use it wrongly; God is not a respecter of persons! God has set certain laws; if you understand, respect and follow them, they will work for you and you can have a great increase. God can bless everybody. That is why we can preach the bible! Otherwise, we may prophesy: God will bless you; not You, you with the red shirt! God did not tell me he would bless You the blue shirt! The reason I am doing this, is God will bless us! Ps 115 12 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. 13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. 14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. 15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth. He looks at h nation of Israel and wants to bless everyone: the small and great! He wants to bless the Aaron-ites (those doing ministry) I will bless the others also! To Abraham All the families of the earth will be blessed through you! It is my belief and faith that God wants to bless every last one; you, you, you, you, you, you, you God is not partial; He has set forth laws fair and square! Grab those laws and work it; it will work for you! If you operate a switch to turn the light on, the switch does not say, I will not go on for you! It odes not matter whether it was a child or adult, male or female who worked the switch: it will burn. If it were programmed for finger scan security, it will work for

anybody! You may say I prayed for 3 hours today, please light switch come On! I fasted 4 days, I have a big bible it still will not work! It will come on only for the right fingerprint! Some say, I am such a good person; I have never smoked or drank; But Go has not blessed me! God never said you would be blessed if you never chewed or smoked! (It good for you do not do those things) Use the Law. Because Gods laws are in operation, some good and sincere Christians do not get blessed since they do not follow Gods law! It does not say in the law that much will be given because you do good- it says if you give little you will et little! Use the law! It is the law of God and it will work for you and it will lift you; every need will be met, you can live a life where you can say I shall not want! It is not merely a quote from Ps 23: it will be a true statement from your experience; He has set a law so that nobody should want! Determine to use it!

47. The Law of Sowing and Reaping-4 Sow What You Want to Reap and in the Manner You Want to Reap

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: Gods laws of increase are many and we have seen some of them. The law of sowing d reaping is a fundamental law that works in all spheres of life and no other law applies in all facets and levels of life as this one! As you purpose in your heart. We have seen this passage deals with giving and in it Paul applies the law of sowing and reaping to giving in particular. Paul teaches that this law works and comes into effect when you give. How much he believes in it is evident in that each one should purpose in ones heart how much one is going to give. It is not to be interpreted to mean we decide in our heart how much we are to give on our own wish, or giving the largest amount in our purse or even determining in advance how much one gives. Rather, we are to

decide the amount of our giving based on how you would like to reap. Giving is not to be based on how much you have but how much you want to have! Make up your mind and decide accordingly! How do I want to set the pace of increase in my life; how I make a stand of faith. It does not depend how much we are able to give. (For we will never be able to give much in our own eyes. It calls for a deliberate, intelligent and spiritual decision indeed! Giving in faith Rules out grudging and compulsion. Saying we do not have much is not our faith talking; it is merely our unbelief talking. What does your faith say? Do you believe that you will reap bountifully if you sow bountifully? Then based on that belief, make a decision to sow! (That is a revelation!) Let not your natural mind make the decision; always let your faith make that bold decision! That is a bold step that will produce results in your life!as he purposes in his heart. Not grudgingly or of necessitywhen you give by faith, grudging and compulsion is absent! Because faith is a voluntary thing! Faith expects great things, so there is no necessity; you are sowing since you have decided to give based on your belief on Gods laws. Some would like to compel you to give. They might even blackmail you at the end of a meeting, to give to make up the difference in expenses of a project or meeting. We are not to be fooled; we ought to give after patiently waiting on God to speak to us. Giving is not to be out of necessity. Cornering people to commit how they would give is also compulsion! It should be safe to preach on sowing and leave the rest to God. If they respond to it on their own, it is good; if they did not sow, still the cause, ministry would go on; it would still be blessed by God! However sowing and reaping is good for the hearers. That is why obligating them is not necessary; even pawning personal items or put in IOU slips that would spoil the fun and the reward! Compelling people cause them to have a grudge in giving. This is like troubling a little child and causing it to cry; thereafter tell it to smile for Jesus loves you! Crazy! Let people understand faith and encourage them to give in faith. However letting people give voluntarily seems impractical and farfetched to impatient preachers. Sometimes we are advised about different fundraising methods used in America, Europe etc and trying to work all that, but fail to use Gods method for them. It even leads to be doubtful of ministries that raise money Gods way and feel there are some secret donors who finance those ministries. They fail to accept God as their source. When you follow Gods method there will not be any grudging in giving, everyone will give cheerfully because they will be faith givers. Not out of being cornered by debtors or deadlines or collection gangs, but rather since they have tasted and know the efficacy of Gods laws. 1. You must sow (since it determines your future) 2. Sow precious seed (that is all you got) 3. Sow liberally (it is a mentality) 4. Sow what you want to reap. Sow in every area of your life (if you want to reap in those areas) The first time the law of sowing and reaping is mentioned in Gen 1 : 11 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Whatever you sow in its kind you will reap. Gal 6: 7-10

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. It is sad indeed that people talk about it only for fund raising. However that is far from all the other avenues where this law may be applied. Loving Your Spouse. Do you have a unloving spouse? Have you loved first? Like a man who did not sow but was looking at the barren field and complained he has not reaped anything from it yet! Keeping on looking at it till eternity will not cause it to produce! If you sow love, you w ill certainly reap love! You set out to love a woman who does not love and love her and cause her to love you. There are biblical principles: The bible says man is the initiator; the woman is not! Man is the one who chases after; the woman is the responder of that love. The bible teaches it this way! The men have to start it: if you want a lot of love, show a lot of love! It may not work over night, it will take some time. Sow tomato seeds; you will not have tomatoes overnight! Tomatoes will come slowly but surely over the next few months! Slowly the sambar will taste better, the talk will become batter, good times, good everything! If you sow love, you will reap love. You are never going to reap any love unless you sow it! Love does things; it overlooks the faults and reaches out to them, accepts them, corrects and advises them! Showing love will cause it to come back in good measure pressed down and shaken together Managing Time. In every area whatever you sow will come back! The story Oral Roberts related about a woman who complained about not having enough time for anything. He enquired how much time she gave to the Lord. The woman told him how she was not able to find any time for anything, for studies and her job, how was she to find time time for the Lord? He told her it is because you have not given any time for the Lord that you cannot find time; why dont you give time to the Lord and see how it goes with you? The woman came running to him in a couple of weeks and reported that it worked . After she spent a little time everyday with the lord, praying and reading his word, she seemed to have time enough and more time for everything. What took over two hours earlier took a lot lesser now! When you give time it comes back to you; Sowing Applies to Everything. The same applies to mercy, kindness Lu 6: 35-38 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. People associate this verse with giving since they focus on v 38; however if you see from v 25, the context is clearer. What is the use of doing good to your enemies? The result is, soon they will become your

friends! Do not lose opportunity to do something. We read earlier gal 6: 10 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, When an opportunity shows up; when your enemy says help me; you have an opportunity to set in motion what you are going to get back: how that person is going to treat you is going to be determined by how you act! He may be an enemy, but since an opportunity has now come to turn around that situation: your sowing of this good thing will cause you to reap good. V 36 to 37 talks about actions we take towards others: judge not and condemn, forgive and you will be forgiven; After talking about being merciful, not judging, forgiving, Jesus asks you to give! He is saying Give all of these things! What you give will be given to you: I much in your bosom! Show an unfriendly face, faces will be shown to you! Be unfriendly and you will have no friends: irrespective of how they treat you, be friendly! You do not want to get in good measure the wrong things! (Do not gossip on someone; it will come back on you). Lu 6: 38 may be said as per 2 Cor 9: 6-8. Sow sparingly, reap sparingly; sow bountifully, reap bountifully! Some wonder, Why is all this harm happening to me?When confronted about how they sowed, they admit, they did a little sowing! That is how the law works. When it grows it returns multiplied; and you are stunned by the magnitude! Sow a little harshness; a little gossip, a little meanness, a little sluggishness, a little; so little you do not notice, but when it comes back, that very little is enough to produce a large return! You may not like the large return a bad deed brings but you would surely not hate the great return a good deed brings! Sow whatever you want to produce! Whatever you would like to have, you can have it, and you have to sow more of that! Ma 7:12 12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. This is so familiar; many do not even think this is the bible! What would you like to receivelove? Mercy? Wealth, time, kindness? Start doing good and it will come back to you! (Men will do it to you) 5. Sow in the manner you want to reap. (The way you want to reap.) Pr 3: 27 27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Do not say go and come back later: because it depends on the manner you would like to be treated! A merciless man who would not help someone in need will also not find mercy when he needs it! (He may degrade to the level to be refused by the one to whom he refused it). When you feel it is good; do it! You would like to be treated with your request immediately: the manner you would like to be treated; it is important to sow in the manner you would like to reap! Sometimes someone need not even ask. Do it and someone else would do it for you even before you ask or knock on their door! Someone will obey God and do it just like you obeyed God and did it! Do it when God tells you to! Promptly, graciously and willingly! That is the way you would like to be treated! Sow in the manner you will like to reap! Manner is as important as the matter! Graciousness and promptness is important: you will reap that way too!

45. The Law of Sowing and Reaping-2

Do unto others what you would have them do to you- this is the essence of life and prosperity. God gave His own commentary to the Law of Sowing and Reaping in Gen 8. Noah, on looking out from the Ark must have seen a devastated earth, muddy and full of slush, waste and decay and wondered Will this earth ever be liveable again? How am I going to live; it seems so difficult! As long as earth remains And God comforts him with these words. He tells him, you can make your home a place of abundant love, a life of abundant success, happiness all by the law of sowing and reaping! 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Seedtime and harvest is the first thing that God tells him. As long as sowing and reaping remains, you can thrive, you need never go hungry! Theres hope for prosperity and increase. You do not have to be tied down by economic meltdown or pinned down by your circumstances. You need not remain in your humble situation, or be overwhelmed by it; you can beat every odd by this principle of seed time and harvest: it brings immediate hope! This applies in every arena: natural and spiritual (for all truth is parallel; laws work in both realms). 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) It is about Money. Paul in the ninth chapter is teaching about giving- giving of money and in that context about sowing and reaping! He is not even talking to farmers! Sowing less leads to reaping little; and sowing much yields much. This clarification is required because many mull over this issue with the question: Why should I give (in order to increase)? Should I sow much in order to reap much? It is not fit to ask why because this is a law set by God! The farmer never asks the earth why; he does not demand that the field first give before he does! (The ground does) It is in your Hands. How your future is going be set depends upon how you apply this law in your life. Some abdicate saying: it is all in Gods hands! (Implying that if it is in Gods

hands, everything has to be worked out by Him; therefore you do not have the responsibility for your better future). Too bad, God says it is in your hands! Whatever you do with these laws that I have put in motion will decide your future! In this regards some have an issue with the sovereignty of God. They imply God is great; we cannot make him do anything, we cannot manipulate Him (this kind of teaching making us responsible for sowing makes us look like we are trying to manipulate Him) No! It is true that God is sovereign; we are not trying to manipulate God or man! Men are sharp; God even cleverer! But the Sovereign Lord made the law (of sowing of reaping) according to His wish. We do not have an option but to abide by it. Some misinterpret prosperity to mean: if God wants to prosper me He will; (He can cause me to go to nothing too). Looking at wealthy people, they interpret that God has decided to bless them; (He need not therefore bless everyone). If that were true, we cannot predict anything about this God; praying to God would become like the lottery- and lead to a world of chaos and confusion! (He may turn the sun on every morning if He feels like it; He may turn it off too.) But the law says day and night shall never cease! And in the same way is sowing and reaping: so orderly and ordained by God. Gods Sovereignty- He makes the rules. You can count on it. God is someone we can depend on and his laws are dependable too. For too long we have relegated Gods ways to be mysterious and beyond comprehension; and He is bound to do whatever He wants. But God has already set some laws to determine how he would do things. Successfully descending from a multi storey building depends on whether I appreciate and respect and abide by the law of gravity or not: I use stairs (though they may look like strange looking things) since I do not have wings to fly like a bird. Such lofty ambition will give you a lift to heaven! Follow Gods laws to live. You need not gamble to live or die is up to God! So is it with prosperity: it will work if you put it to work. Where? Not in heaven (some fancy we will all be prosperous there). We will have to put it to work here on earth. Sow sparingly reap sparingly: why suppose it is God who has caused an economic slowdown and you are therefore reaping less? Have you not reaped little because you sowed little? 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Purposing in your Heart. What does purposeth in his heart mean? This is not to be interpreted as what you decide you want to give. Contextually, it has to do with how would you like to reap. Do you want more or less? What is your future goal? Do you want to increase in the future? Do you want to major increase or not? Decide according to how you want to set the pace of your prosperity, future. not grudgingly, or of necessity: Giving is Voluntary. You do not need to give! Your giving depends on your purpose: where do you want to go? No necessity indeed: (God has no necessity)! No feeling bad either. Do you want to reap a lot? Let that be the purpose in your heart. Your giving is to be proportionate to that purpose sown in your heart. (If you do not want prosperity, it will not come near you; the flow will stop. Where do you want to go? This is the sense in every translation: according to what you have purposed in your heart. Prosperity will not happen in your life without a proper application of sowing and reaping. I have purpose in my heart: (not just how much I am going to go but rather, where I want to go, how much I like to expand, stretch and grow; even what I expect to reap, receive.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; In Mark 4: 26 we have read, when you sow, God gets His part of the deal done (growth and multiplication); God will cause all grace to abound to you. When He makes all grace abound to you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: You will have all sufficiency in all things: not always living in shortage anymore (leave the seventies behind!). You may not have all sufficiency just now; but you can have! (Dont condemn yourself) Put the laws of God in motion and decide to put this lack behind you! Decision; decide! What am I going to be in 2015, 2020 What do I want? Decide I am going to be what God has laid in my heart to be, and God will help me! Not for Personal Gain. Our prosperity is not for personal gain: it is for God! We set the pace by putting our faith in front, move forward in boldness, believe Gods word and we find Gods grace abounding. That is why we do not preach that we lack in this and that. We need to be able to spend for the gospel; whatever we imagine to do, want to do for God we should be able to do for God! We must abound in every good work. (Educating our children, doing the best for your family- spouse and children). Be empowered to do everything you desire to do. HOW DO WE SET THIS LAW IN MOTION? Sowing is plainly giving. Whenever I give I am stating: God is my source. (Not the spouse, employer, or parents, business) therefore your source can never dry up. Why do you give? It is foolishness to the world that you give so much to the church! They are the world and they do not understand: but when I give I understand that God is my source and I expect Gods miracles to work for me: Gods favour to help me: Gods wisdom and understanding to come upon me for all the challenges of life. When I dont give, I state God is not my source! We display that by withholding. It has nothing to do with the needs of the church but everything to do with the condition of your heart. But I dont have much! Some say, I do not give much because I do not have much. Let us look at an example. Ps 126: 5 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Bearing precious seed If you had ten rupees in your pocket, it is not a big amount; but if all we had is only ten rupees, it would mean the world to him. We may misplace it, but the one with only ten rupees would secure it safe on his person. What is Precious? The Little money you have may have is precious to you: and giving it may not be easy. It is s precious, so you may not like to part with it. When they decide to part with it, they may shed tears literally; but there is faith in the heart: For a while it leaves your hand, you may not see it. But it will come back to you, good measure pressed down shaken together.

But if you kept it, so sad you did not want to lose it; you will have the same money after 20 years, but you would still be weeping (since that is all you will have, rather the money has depreciated). Your economic circumstance makes the seed that you sow precious or otherwise. Are you in a difficult time? That makes your giving precious seed. What happens to this precious seed? 6 shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Shall doubtless come in another manner: rejoicing, bringing in his sheaves. Those who have nothing to give: should note: how we act in those dire circumstances is very important! Some say, What little I give does not matter to God or to the church. Sure nothing is going to happen to God with that amount but something is going to happen to you! It is not about Meetinga-Need. Some preachers are responsible to perpetuate this wrong notion: we are able to do this ministry with the little amounts you give; ten or twenty rupee gifts It seems God never gives them any money!

Sure, your twenty rupees is not going to make a great impact on the work, but it is about how those twenty rupees will impact you, where it would take you! It is about you: not about God: you do not need to do anything for God! But it is about you; and you will never see another day when you will be left holding a mere twenty rupees in your hand! Doubtless it shall come back again for now and forever more, nonstop!

Do not fret over how much your offering is going to impact the ministry you give to: it is your faith that matters, your heart that matters; your future that matters. Your action matters; what you do in your difficult economic situation matters! Not about Tugging at Heart Strings. There is another pattern that preachers ask for offerings to be sent immediately on preaching in sowing and reaping! (This also puts off people from giving, since they call the bluff that all this talking is aimed at your purse). (No such danger right now) So, this is about your future: how you can increase! Therefore think clearly. Your economic circumstances determine the value of your seed! If you put the law of sowing and reaping to work, the day will doubtless come, when that day of coming back rejoicing will surely arrive!

When the poor widow put in her two mites, Jesus stood and watched how much everyone gave (not acceptable behaviour for today!) The widow comes with her two mites (all she had). Jesus, saw it and gave his commentary, the rich gave and this woman gave all she had. He appreciated her so much! It was the widows Faith. But people missing the point would accuse Jesus and his disciples (preachers) for being after the poor widows money! Did Jesus want those two mites for his chilli chicken that night?

Did Jesus appreciate her for giving sacrificially? Was He appreciating her sacrifice: No! He commended her faith!

We are not told what happened to the woman; but you may find it is Ps 126: 5, 6. Doubtless she shall come back rejoicing. all over the bible the result is heralded: Ps 126, Lu 6: 38: Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Mal 3: 10 bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it... Bible results are guaranteed despite recession, downturns and meltdowns. Have you experienced that result? You can!

46. The Law of Sowing and Reaping-3 Give Bountifully

The Law of Sowing and reaping was instituted by God and the bible makes it clear that it does not apply to farming alone. We have seen how sowing and reaping according to the context of 2 Cor 9:6-8 applies to giving of money into the kingdom of God.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: In the background of the context of giving, Paul emphasises the tenet of reaping sparingly if you sow sparingly and vice versa. We have seen how its important to sow. Sow you must! However, any act that you do is sowing really! If you show mercy and love it is sowing; so is it with jealously and hate! All these attitudes of the heart and actions are also sowing! One day it will come back to you in good measure pressed down and shaken together. And it is important to note that its applicable to the area of money as well (as we have seen last week). We have also seen that each one should purpose in ones heart how much one is going to give. It is not to be interpreted to mean we decide in our heart how much we are to give on our own wish. Rather we are to decide the amount of our giving based on how you would like to reap (sparingly or bountifully). It is no small matter, but it is an exercise of your faith to decide where you want to go and how much you would like to achieve based on this tenet in v 6! How do I want to set the pace of increase in my life; how do I like to move forward, what is going to happen to me as I make a decision of my faith in giving this amount? A deliberate, intelligent and spiritual decision indeed. We also saw about the widow who put in her two mites; we saw how each ones economic situation decides how valuable ones seed is. More than being about how much you have given, it is about how much you have left after you have given! And Jesus was commending how she put in much. And some deride Jesus action that he took away a poor widows purse. (And they do the same to preachers who ask for money from people). We have seen other passages of scripture that highlight what would have happened to her though this story does not record it. You shall receive a hundred fold In good measure, pressed down shaken together and running over Then shall your barns be filled with plenty and your vats over flow These verses surely dispel doubts about headlines screaming, We will never encounter such a situation because it is Gods principle: Quality decisions have to be made in your life (based on Godly principle): You are not going to increase merely because you went to church every week for your whole life! The reason people do not increase is because they do not make a quality decision on giving. Usually, a church goer will decide to give only when the offertory is announced; he would

reach into his pocket and pull out what is there; out of what they have there, they would give something in the offertory.

They leave home without a thought about giving; they hastily do the math based on what they have in their pocket at church! Even the most generously minded would make a quick calculation how much it would cost to get home, deduct that and give the balance; smug they have given all! They have not considered their life; they have not purposed where they would like to go; they have not considered Gods purpose or their destiny;

The bible is full of laws; full of spiritual laws! (Just like there are physical laws, there are spiritual laws. And these laws work all the time. ) Understanding them and putting them to work will cause you to reap a desirable harvest. (Even spending time and effort to understand the sp laws is itself sowing!) In the same way, everything you sow, you will reap! Believe in the law of sowing and reaping!

For students, the time before the exam is a time of sowing: a strenuous time but committing oneself to God, Asking for Gods help and putting in the effort to sow, will cause you to reap a rich harvest. You will not get a harvest without sowing! Sow Bountifully. The next way to sow is to sow liberally, sow bountifully (in order to reap bountifully). If there was sown other way, you could but there is not! Pr 11: 24 24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. Biblical principles are so different from the worlds way! The world commands not to give. A penny saved is a penny earned Some have thought scatter means to splurge spend money loosely. A man who already one was known to fritter it away went home after hearing a sermon on scattering told his wife: Did you listen to the preacher? We have to scatter it all away! To understand scatter we have to relate it to the practice of scattering in agriculture. The writer of Proverbs envisions a sower who scatters seed. A sower would not scatter the seed on a highway but he would be careful to choose the ground, plough and prepare it with diligence and be generous with the seed to the ground made ready. Scattering is not loose spending; but being generous and liberal about sowing money as seed. There is one who withholds and becomes poor. The farmer knows that if he refuses to give, he will not get back enough the next time.

God gives bread to the eater and seed to the sower. Whenever God gives you salary or income, the money has two parts to it: the bread side and the seed side. Be careful with it: if you eat the seed side along with the bread you will not have bread tomorrow! You have to be smart and think. That is why it is written as he purposeth in his heart! Therefore some savvy farmers will shrewdly decide to reduce what he would eat so he would

have more to sow! Setting aside a large portion is kept side by shrewd investors since they reckon wisely that if they sowed more they would reap more! Decide on the basis of how much you would like to reap! Look at what God has given you as bread to the eater and seed to the sower; decide how much you would eat and how much you would sow. The more I sow, the more I would have the next time for eating. If I sowed less the food to eat would be the next time around Discerning what you can sow is a major step. You could sow into learning. Your salary you could tithe out of; but you could spend your earning on buying good books and reading them. Though some would decry and debase it, such sowing would ensure a rich harvest. Renew your mind to think that you are not poor; if you sowed into renewing and fortifying your mind with word of God you will have enough to keep at learning more truth and have more than enough for all your other needs! Be careful what you spend your money on do you spend all your money on the Chinese restaurant at the expense of investing in buying the truth and growing? If you cut the Chinese restaurant and spent more time on feeding the word, then soon you could take a trip to china to eat Chinese food! It would not matter! There will come a day when money will become nothing: it will flow a river; it will be heap from every side; you will not have pockets to put it in: but you must sow! Soon you will not have to worry about how much the cost has gone up: how the world has changed It will not matter to you! But you cannot get there by merely being a church goer! You have to take the law of sowing and reaping and put it to work now! And continue to sow even after you arrive. Perceive all that you do as sowing! All of you will have to sow liberally and bountifully. The common gripe is I do not have enough to sow a person with this kind of talk will never have enough? For Jesus said; if you are faithful in little, you will be faithful in much. It is alright if you had little, but what have you done with that little? How do you deal that little? How you deal with that little is going to decide how you will deal when you have much. It has nothing to do with how much have or the largeness of your financial ability. You can be generous with Rs 50/- even if that is all you have. If you are not generous with 50, you cannot be generous when you have 500,000! The reason why many do not have much even after walking with the Lord for a long time is because they have not been faithful with the little they have! I would like to give, but I am not in a position to give right now Miserly in outlook they make excuses. You can tell a generous person even when money is not involved. Look at the breakfast table: this young man would polish off 5 of the six idlis, and leave one for his dad! There are fathers who will treat themselves to the niceties at the office get togethers, working lunches and on the way back from work without a thought about their wife and children! Why not think about they would like to eat: generosity does not demand you should have much and give a lot: it is the thought that matters. Generosity is in the thinking! There are homes when meat is cooked for the father alone: the children make do with the gravy or some other curry. The reason: they cannot afford meat for everybody. We are poor! You can be poor and be generous! You can share out of the little you have! If

you live stingy, you will reap in good measure when you grow old! You will set a blueprint for your family as a behaviour pattern! If you were in Gods position and wanted to bless someone, you would also like to see how someone deals with the little he has, in order to entrust more! You can be poor but generous: there are many poor but generous who give sacrificially: share what they have with father, mother and others! They have a generous spirit; God blesses the generous spirit. It is how you think! The miserly are messed up in their thinking: because their thinking is wrong their life is wrong! They would not go forward even if they carry their bible to church and shout halleluiah!

The generous mind says: God is able to give me more; let me give: tomorrow will be better! I will have more to give: as I give, it will be given back to me: Good measure pressed down shaken together The floodgates of heaven will be opened and I will overflow My future will be great! Such a person speaks Gods language, instead of the worlds language of want lack and insufficiency! How God will bless him and pour out a blessing! Believe in God and believe you will have more tomorrow! God will trust you with more as you are faithful in little. Generosity Thinking. Generosity has to do with thinking Generosity has to do with talk too One said, I am so poor, the poor call me poor Quit poor jokes! No more poor jokes! The more you joke about it the more you enjoy it, and how can you joke if you became rich? (Youd rather be poor and joke till you die than change the joke!) Change your talk! Generosity ahs to do with how you think and talk! You have to say it when you dont have it; you have witness angst those who hear, (even if they do not believe). It is a statement of what you believe: your rich mentality. How does one get that rich mentality? When you read the bible! (If you heard the wrong preaching, you can get a wrong mentality!) It is all about mentality. Fat people cannot get free of it, not because it is physically impossible but because their mentality is so deeply ingrained! I gain 10 kilos if I just smell pastries! Such excuses entrenches you in that mentality and it becomes a condition you do not want to get out of! Being under debt too is like that! A mentality that does not consider sowing and reaping, is bereft of biblical basis. Someone even said: it is a blessing to be poor. (I had to wash my ear, since such thinking is so infectious); no marks for imagining what preaching it will produce! It is not a blessing to be poor: it is a curse: we have to do everything we can to get out of it! Poverty is not of God: God does not want even one person to be poor: if you believe in being poor, then you will I stay poor! Renew Your mind. You have to get your mind renewed with the God of abundance; stat thinking brand new; stop talking the old talk and speak the new! Show generosity with your thought and talk: show generosity with the little you got! Show it on the dinner table, with your flesh and blood, in a real way in your life: change your thinking and talk!

Become biblical in thinking. Do not be infected with the worldly thinking! Do not glorify and exalt poverty to sainthood! From such people do you get poverty thinking, despite having

read 2 Cor 9: 6-8, they do not practise it, they do not order their thinking and mind accordingly. If you have little why dont you sow bountifully and reap bountifully? Before you become prosperous in reality you have to become prosperous in thinking! 2 Cor 9: 6-8 It is possible to give away and become richer; It is possible to hold on too tight and lose everything. The liberal man shall be rich; by watering others he waters himself. Look Up. How is that possible? My giving is my sowing, whatever I sow, will come back to me good measure I do not look wistfully at the offering box as it talks away my money; I look up to heaven after I give, cause my God is able to give bountifully back to me! He is true to his word, so my hands are raised to Him alone! Are too tight, if you are close fisted, even God cannot get anything into your hands because you have to open your hand to receive! Do not be afraid to lose when you open your hand; it is the route to receive bountifully! The prosperity that comes Gods way will work for everybody: get the mentality first; the money will follow later!

Laws of Increase 50 Sowing and reaping-7 Faith & Patience

2 Cor 9: 6 -11 6 Remember thisa farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And dont give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.[a] 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. Gods laws of increase have been set by God for our increase. The question that afflicts many Christians is why God has not blessed them despite being good. Why has God been partial to others, even non Christians in this area? Gods Laws are dependable. They even think that God makes some decision based on lottery or probability theory and decides to bless someone some day; (unfortunately their turn has not yet come and may never come!). God is not like that; if that were so there is no point in preaching! God can and will bless anybody: it is just like a car is not partial to anybody: it will run for anybody as long as there is petrol in its tank: the driver has to ensure there is enough gas in it. However Christendom has this great misunderstanding that Gods will is done in everyones life automatically, and some are blessed and some are not! On the contrary, the kingdom parables are primarily recorded for everyone to understand how it works. However for the same, we need to understand Gods laws. The law of sowing

and reaping- the law of harvest has been taught. Sow little: reap little; (therefore let) everyone purpose in his heart! Trust Gods system. Many Christians are sceptical of Gods laws, but gladly give their money to banks and sign against the instrument that claims a 13.5% return; deposit their lifes savings. Despite the fine print that could bring their money to zero, no one bad mouths these schemes. However giving to God is viewed skeptically! Gods schemes are more trustworthy than any other financial scheme: giving to God comes back in times of recession, inflation or famine: the Guarantor is God! In a world of crookedness, these straightforward principles are worthy to be trusted. It is boldly declared because it is true. Give gladly and without compulsion. There is no pressure to write the cheque today. In the kingdom of God there can be no compulsion: no one must be pressured to give: they must be taught to give and they must be allowed to make a decision in their own time. Due to bad experiences, many hearers feel pressured and brace themselves for the offering soon after such and such verse is even referred to!

God will give you in abundance for your needs and to give to others. God is not trying to take from you so you will have less, but trying to increase you so you can have more, (so you can give). Your giving is not for God to increase: He has no need of your money; He only wants to ensure you will have much more. 1. The seed must be planted 2. The seed must be rendered useless to you. 3. Plant what you expect to harvest. (it is not your need but the seed acc to the chief parable) 4. Your harvest is established when your seed is sown (not on the day of his harvest: it is a decision of faith not an emotional one) 5. Your seed must be planted in good ground. Look closely at the parable of the sower: the seed fell on 4 types of ground; only one yielded a good harvest: the good ground. The three types of unprofitable grounds were wayside, stony and thorny grounds. The Good Ground. Good ground is of great importance in farming as well as in the kingdom of God. It is necessary for increase. Sowing may be possible in all types of grounds but there is no guarantee of increase! When you plant in good ground we get a good increase! How does one identify the good ground? There is an unmistakable characteristic of a goodground ministry: they will vigorously attempt to accomplish Gods instructions to them. Vision? Is special training required to identify if anyone is doing anything? Who has a vision? Who has a purpose? Who is vigorously trying to accomplish their purpose? Do they put everything into it and work all the time to accomplish what God has called them to do? Merely Exist? Many ministries merely exist. They conduct services every Sunday for the sole purpose of existing: they may be purely in the maintenance mode. They have been from granddaddys days: the people have been there for three generations Dwindling? Their income keeps declining, and they always chide the people for not giving. They have a difficult time to maintain themselves. Sell this; rent that; make some money; be

in a selling mode. They think there may be no money tomorrow; let us rent the church so we will run this place for the next 100 years. They have nothing to give: so they do not expect anyone to come. They have nothing (to give) so nothing will be given to them! There are plenty of places that exist; merely struggling to keep themselves afloat: no great vision, no purpose Anything Goes? They may be even some who are willing to do whatever anyone wants them to do: fundraising, start a school, start a bible college, run a charity they would do anything as long as someone is willing to fund it. They have no primary vision; never determined about what they want to do: no purpose, no vision, no faith and no effort since their heart is not in it: useless ground; it it like casting ones seed on wayside, thorny and stony ground. Good-ground ministry vigorously what God has called it to do, with fervour attempt to fulfil it: you better identify and think before you do these things! Let God Move You. God will give you unction over these things: one must never be moved emotionally before you give. If you do not give today, the program will go off air tomorrow never be moved by extreme appeals. How should you give as a Christian? The Spirit of God will move you. Let not anyone force anyone. When the Holy Spirit moves on your heart, you give cheerfully. Otherwise your giving will cause you to think wistfully: my money is gone, I should not have come today, and the pastor put his number on me! Give Cheerfully. A cheerful giver is one inspired by the Holy Spirit: you love what is being done for the kingdom; the HS has spoken to you, and your heart is in it and you know if you had more you would have given more! I want to have more in the future for me to give more. Do not get manipulated. Do not be emotionally forced in to a situation where you have to give. I am depending only on you Surely I will not give you, because I am not God. All my hope is in you only Next time, God will reveal to me and I will make sure I am not there when you come around. We have to have some judgment concerning this. Some quote judge not that you may not be judged However the bible admonishes us to judge certain things: false prophets etc. Judge good ground and wait for the HS to speak not your heart concerning when and how much to give. 6. There is always a period of time between planting and harvest. Mk 4: 26, 27 26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. 29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. It does nto happen as soon as you sow; there is awaiting period. Sleep and rise for many days. The faith factor is a key for sowing and reaping. Wherever faith is, there needs to have patience too: it is in its combination that you inherit the promises of God. Heb 6: 12 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Faith and Patience. Be alert; exercise your faith and patience along with faith. Both are necessary, for some these are mutually exclusive. Some may give up after 3 months after launching into a ministry in a new place! Great faith, but alas! Less patience! The world of instant sambar and instant soup: even sudden butter chicken! Ask any farmer: do you want a sudden crop? The kingdom and the way it operates are like the farmers crop! Endure to taste the crop: you will never quit thereafter! Family, business, or any enterprise is established after persevering for a period of time: months or years. Some may have it sudden for everyone in business or ministry can have victory for persevering! Faith and patience! If you have a dream, you must have faith for it and you must work relentlessly with faith towards it! (Even though you may see nothing immediately) This applies to the area of financial sowing and reaping too. It has to be done with faith and patience. Eccles 11: reads 1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. However it is often misquoted, cast your bread upon the water, it will come back. After many days is so real. Heb 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. You have to do the will of God and have to wait patiently for the answer. There is no instant result but we have to keep on doing the will of God till we see results. 3months-3years-30years. For a minimum of three years you would usually see nothing: but keep doing the will of God and one has to wait! It is the same in the matter of giving too. You give because the Holy Spirit guided you and you obey the will of God as you see it in the word of God. Then wait patiently because sowing and reaping surely works. Lack of patience cancels out the harvest. Suppose you deposited money in the bank as a cash deposit for 3 years: if you tried to withdraw after 3 months you will scarcely see an increase. You can see an increase only after a period of time. You can tell peoples impatience through their talk! I have been giving but am yet to see a return I have given liberally but I do not think God will come through this time! Your talk can cancel your harvest for in the spiritual world, words mean everything. There are words of faith and words of unbelief. So many have lost the best harvest owing to their mouths: look at Israel: they complained about the wilderness, lack of leeks and garlic how many houses also have such dialogues. The bible tells us to put our hand over our mouths when tempted to speak this way. Job 40: 3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said, 4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth. It is better to be quiet than to speak sometimes! You have sowed but do not see a harvest; put your hand over your mouth! Just smile even if you dont smile, shut up! Sometimes you may feel like complaining to God; what have I done? On such occasions, just shut up! The blessing tuck is just around the corner; the bounty ship is just entering harbour; if you bad mouth it, it may just turn around and sail away! Just keep quiet and you will draw the harvest towards you since faith and patience is the couple that will attract the blessings of God like a magnet! Obey Gods laws and keep doing the will of God. Be patient.

7. You must maintain your crop so you can enjoy a good harvest. The farmer sows according to the harvest he desires; he watches it sprout. However, he cannot sit back and wait till the harvest: he has a lot of work till the harvest ripens. Financially too, when you expect a harvest, a lot of maintenance is required in the mean time. Just like the farmer, what do we do after we give? (a) Put God and a godly life as a priority. We have to continue to live for God. Gods principles work for those who live godly. Allow Jesus to be the Lord of your life and make sure you live for Him. Seeking his righteousness is to live just like Him. Keep devoted to Him, love and serve Him as lord in your life. Sowing a reaping is not a magic scheme! You cannot say: I have sowed, so till the harvest comes in, let me live a wild life! It is all lined with our relationship with God; faith must grow out heart must be right, live for Him (b) Evangelisation must be a top priority. To prosper, people hearing the gospel must be your top priority. Abraham was blessed to be a blessing. In you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. How? Through Abraham, Jesus was to be born as a descendant, live and die for the salvation of mankind. Whoever would receive Jesus work on the cross, would be blessed with the Abrahamic blessing! When he lived on earth, Abraham was Gods man for blessing the world; therefore no famine or king or event could do any harm to him! On the contrary, famine came but Abraham grew rich through it! If he had died in the famine, the Saviour would die in him! Just as in Abrahams time, Isaac faced famine and God showed up again and gave him a 100 fold harvest! Now or later, even in a global recession, we will not go under since our aim is to preach the gospel. Recession or not we have to increase! God of Abraham will show up: He will bless you and cause blessing to come your way since you have to spread the gospel to the whole world! God need not wait till 2020 till when India will be a super economy for the gospel to be spread with better means: God is blessing you because you care about taking the gospel to the ends of the world: he will bless you or Abraham or anybody for this reason! To Joshua who was ready to crossover, God said no man will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. Why? If you are finished, My purpose will also finish with you! Therefore no one will stand against you! I will not fail you; I will be with you If you are in the business of heaping up for yourself, than you are not on Gods program; and the worlds entire program is yours: recession, inflation, unemployment, uncertainty Get on Gods Program. Make sure your program is Gods program! God loves the people the world; so keep scheming how you can get the good news to the whole world! Will it cost a lot of money? Never worry about the money since you will get whatever it costs! How will you get the money? If Gods program, God pays for His program! Greatness for a Cause. God told Abraham, I will make your name great. To do His work, He will make you big enough! He would make him famous without a poster or Photoshop or advertising on FB! Everyone would know who Abraham was: God would invest in Him since Abraham was Gods man. We do not need to dabble in advertising ourselves for it: God will do it for you and take you

higher, higher and higher! Only keep the goal of preaching the gospel a priority. You will be blessed for the gospel sake: the reason why Jesus died is made famous through your telling everyone! Therefore what the newspapers worry about does not apply to you: what the bible promises is yours!

Reaping-7 Maintain Your Crop

Posted on July 18, 2011 Share

2 Cor 9: 6 -11 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. 1. God is a fair and square God; anybody who operates His laws can succeed. God is not partial to anybody regarding His blessings. He is not running a lottery! His laws give us peace of mind about trusting Him: things are predictable about God! God is not so mysterious that we have no clue how we can cope up with Him and His ways. We may be stymied and derailed in trust if we just understand God half! Look at 2 Cor 2:9 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. In one breath you can lose all hope about enjoying understanding of God! All we need to do to dispel such uncertainty is just to look at the next verse! 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. We can understand God after all! They are already revealed through the Spirit to me. We are a people o revelation: God discloses Himself to us: we know His ways through Gods word. The people of Israel experienced His miracles but did not know Gods ways. Todays

Christians are also desperately seeking miracles. They need miracle meetings; they need a miracle every day. Year after year they yearn for miracles in the same area- brinkmanship with God about something! However God does not want you live through miracles: He wants you to live through a law of abundance: he wants you have an abundance in everything and enough to give! (Of course for unforeseen problem there can be a miracle; but that is not Gods best for you: it is better you know His ways! Live through the laws of Gods abundance. There may be many ways to get something but there is a best way too! For example take the case of healing. Jesus healed some through the laying on of hands. Jairus believed that if Jesus would lay hands on his daughter she would be well. Not only the woman with the issue of blood, many others touched his clothes and they too were healed. He touched and they touched and were healed. According to their faith James mentions about anointing the sick with oil. Some have gone overboard with this instruction: they have started selling oil for prayer. Their excuse? The bible says so! The bible is full of Gods truth: we have to infer truth from it! James does mention anointing with oil but also mentions about a weak believer: someone who needs some help: not everyone! So many want the oil to be prayed for: what is wrong with it? They want to stock up some at home to use whenever you need it? Focus on the issue. Focus on your faith. Do not focus on these paraphernalia: whether the preacher lays hands on you or not. Do not package cloth to send it all over the world because Peters handkerchiefs were laid on the sick. Touch, be touched, oil and cloth are all in the bible! However there is also the case of the centurion who wanted Jesus to only say the word! The centurion had understood about the law of God: the law woks on authority! 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. He was telling Jesus: you are a man of authority. If you say to the sickness to leave it will! This gentile though ignorant of God understood Gods laws! So is it with many in the world who understand Gods laws and practise it and prosper. Some Christians only want Jesus (to escape hell and go to heaven) and leave out His laws; those in the world, want His laws (to do well) and reject Jesus! Wed rather have both! If you reject His laws you miss something great. Gods laws of success are there for you! Extract them from the bible. From the laws of sowing and reaping we have seen 7 principles already. 6. There is always a period of time between planting and harvest. 7. You must maintain your crop so you can enjoy a good harvest. The parable of the sower talks of the thorny ground which did not allow the harvest to manifest in full measure. The thorns ruined it: thorns sprang up and choked it. Many claim to know Gods laws but they do not know it accurately enough for them to benefit

from it! In the instance of flying, no one in his right mind would board a plane when its pilot is not too sure about all the gadgets and is not proficient in its use! Please wait a minute let me get off! You may even succeed to get this thing off the ground, but even if you do, I do not want to land on top of a mountain, sea or in a forest somewhere We want to be sure we know where we are going! The problem with Christians is they are aware of Gods laws only a little bit. How much of His laws do you know? You will not reap a harvest of plenty if you so not know His laws and accurately implement them! Any farmer will tell you that it is not over with the planting with some fertilizer with some guarding and keeping so many things to do and so many things to keep in mind! He ought to maintain the crop for a proper harvest. He must Plant; he must see it sprout, he must weed, he must water, must fertilize and do everything that is needed to be done in for the harvest. He must make sure nothing stops it from becoming the harvest he wants it to be! Spiritually speaking it is a financial harvest that is spoken of in 2 Cor. It is sad if you find it uncomfortable for Christians to hear about money at church: what they quibble about at home any way! If we would hear from God and learn about money we would never have to bicker about it at home. God does not want your money neither does the church want it! Do not give money at church because you want to pity the pastor! It is a heart issue. The pastor does not want anything: instead, he has got something for you: Do not even feel sorry for him. Pastors and Christians ought to trust in God (even the American dollar does). It is not right to beg for it using some manipulative techniques. It is right to speak about prosperity; for ten you could do the work of God with excellence. It is Gods principles that cause increase, not clever preaching. Gods principles work! They are perfect. (a) Holy Life. Maintaining your crop means you ought to put God and a godly life first. For your faith to work, your life is important: faith works by love. Your faith will not work if you are not moved by love. Love is not self seeking, is patient, kind etc. (1 Cor 13) a type of life that leads you to thrive in faith life. It is not a mantra that one repeats a few times and you have it! Give yourself to God (I m not my own); live with a consciousness that your body belongs to God: faith will be at the highest point as you live right. Then faith will work for you, unhindered. Without a right life, you r faith becomes like a clogged pipe. Live a life of righteousness and faith will flow like a river. (b) Evangelise. For financial prosperity and law of harvest to work, maintenance of crop, evangelisation of the world must be your top priority. Lord, bless us four, Us four and no more Does that not sound selfish to you? Do you have no desire to be a part of the effort to tell the whole world the gospel? Use every method to reach the whole world: hand bills, small groups, one to one conversations, internet, blog, face book, church, TV, mission trips, ward rooms, club rooms etc. All of these need money, but as you start operating these laws the money will follow the vision for it. You do not need to pray for money? Do you pray for a big church/ bigger house/ ministry?

Pay attention to your faith: what do you believe? What is the truth about God/ the world/ myself/ money/ success? How can you make this truth work? If you increase your faith, more money comes with it! We do not pray for money, we believe God for money! Paul said: All things are yours why pray for what you have already? You just have to learn how to make the withdrawal; the procedure to get it and use it. The problem with many is they have nothing! So they beg God: God, drop something: some crumbs from the table! How humble? I am no dog to eat the crumbs from the table; I am a child of God; I eat at the banqueting table of God! So 2:4 4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. That love provides everything for me! Showers everything for me: have you eaten at a table where somebody loved you and wanted to heap your plate with good things? God does not give you money to heap on yourself: it is for use for world evangelism! That is Gods NO 1 Priority: For God so loved the world And if you do not love the world; you care not a candidate for Gods prosperity. If you are only mindful of you and your family: you are merely fit for the accolades of people who may grudgingly admit you did well for yourself and so humble. But God is only pleased with a man who wants to have more so he can give more for the good news to reach the whole world. God gives for a purpose: he does not give to the hoarder. He takes it out of to wicked hoarder and gives it to the righteous (since the righteous man gives). Pr 13:22 22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his childrens children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. The wicked is one who only cares about himself. Me, me me, my name is Jimmy I can take all you gimme We call him a rich man; the bible calls him a wicked man because of his attitude and thinking: we define a man rich because of his tax return! His tax return never records anything about giving even a penny for the gospels sake: in Gods sight he is wicked persona candidate for losing everything! (If you are like this: set yourself right today). If you fancy yourself righteous, check if you care about the worlds lost. To the one who gives: more will be given. There is one that scatters but will have morethis is the way Gods laws work: find out and use it (even if you do not like it) To use a car you have to learn to work it though you may be opposed to filling fuel, engine oil or using gears to drive etc! Gods law require that you use the resources for the gospels sake! All the good feeling about nice singing is good but that alone is not good enough: it is about the truth that will set you free from your present condition and liberate you to where you ought to be! Evangelism keeps the financial flow. Love the preaching of the gospel; love to see people saved! (c) You must battle deception. The third type of bad ground is the thorny groundMt 13:22 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. He does not have any result since the cares of the world and deceitfulness of riches choke it. Some peoples head start spinning when they lay their hands on some money. They are unable to handle such a life. Some look for another relationship when they get a raise at work! A decent income makes

people have two wives. Riches drive some people crazy! And in a Christians life the devil uses the sinful nature to seduce them into another type of a lifestyle that will cause the harvest unfruitful. Do not be deceived by the increase of wealth. When more money comes in, do not garner and hide it away to lavish it on them: it is mine! That is exactly the type of person whom the Lord will take away from! Of course God wants you to enjoy your harvest: god is not against you having more: he wants you to have more than enough. But there is a danger of having more and keeping it only for you: and not give to God! When deceived by wealth the law of prosperity does not work for them: the harvest becomes unfruitful. Many start out, by giving to God and being blessed, but when they get deceived, the harvest is choked. It happens over and over in many godly peoples lives: the more money you get, the more you ought to plan to do for God. I can do more now Never be deceived by riches and get that grabbing mentality. Heb 13: 5 5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Be content with what you have is a golden verse for many! They take it to mean hoard what you got today because God may not give you tomorrow! Make hay while the sun shines The same passage v 8 8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. What does it mean? When I started me with nothing, God brought me thus far: but keep your thinking straight: God who has blessed you till now will bless you in the future too! (Getting older or retiring does not mean God will stop blessing you!) Some others want to be content with nothing! When the banana leaf is laid out in front of you at a meal: do you say I had enough even before you are served? Have you become full before a grain of rice has fallen on your plate? You should quote 1 Tim 6:6 in context: 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. The word content has the meaning within it! They serve the food: the hor d oeuvre, the biriyani, the bisibella baath, ice-cream you have eaten and eaten the stomach is bloating you say It is enough Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever: God will take care of you: If you believe in it: you will not hoard! Hoarding and saving are different! Saving is necessary; it is biblical, learn it from the ant. You should save: What should be your attitude when you save? I am putting it away for Gods purposes. Whenever He tells me to do something with it, I will! Get prosperous for God, you save for God, you spend for God: that is a healthy attitude. When you save for God, it will multiply many times over since you are saving it for God: he will multiply it! If you save to grab and hoard for yourself, it will all sublimate.

God does not want you to be ground to poverty; he wants you to be the head He would command a blessing on the work of your hands! All will see and glorify God in astonishment at and fear of you! Your poverty does not bring glory to God: a poor mans words are not respected Many do not heed a poor preachers word- because they do not want to turn out that way! James 4:3 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. If you allow yourself to be deceived by the sudden influx of wealth, it will become unfruitful: live a godly life, give to the gospel, and stay away from the devils deception: Be content and believe that God will meet your needs tomorrow too! Many have a bleak outlook of their future against the backdrop of their gloriouspast. That means you have lost your faith! God has helped you in the past: your future is going to be bright and prosperous because I am increasing in faith! In these years I have increased in faith: that is setting the pace for my future! My years ahead are going to be far better than my past! The future is going to be glorious because I have been bulldog my faith!

52 Sowing and Reaping-9 Maintain your crop- Sow to your harvest; Keep a part, Sow a part

2 Cor 9: 6-11 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. God has set certain laws that operate in this world in order for us to increase. He does not cast lots every morning to determine whom He can bless that day! He has a system going; we do not need to wonder how he is going to be today. Because in some houses husbands behave random and erratically, wives become experts to gauge his mood: if he is going to bark or bite! God is not like that: He is fair and square God; anybody who operates His laws can succeed. God is not partial to anybody regarding His blessings.

In a recession, God is still good; He is still full of hope. He never changes! Therefore we can believe whatever He said He would do! Whenever people promise to do something, it means that they would do it if conditions were favourable. If things changed in their life, they would cite that as reason why they could not keep tier word! God is not like that! That is why man is not worthy to be trusted: if we lived trusting man, we would live running from one disappointment to another! And at the end of life you would only have episodes of everyone dealing badly with you! On the other hand, you would be in good shape if you spent your life trusting God instead. Eccl 12 :1 1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; Remembering God when young, trusting and following Him instead of man, God will take you forward: if you regret you are no longer very young, you could trust God even now! He will come through! He is unchanging; He has laws by which he operates. That is why we have learnt the laws of increase! Among the laws of increase we have seen, we are now dealing with the Law Of Harvest or the Law Of Sowing And Reaping. From the laws of sowing and reaping we have seen 8 principles already: 1. The seed must be planted 2. The seed must be rendered useless to you. 3. Plant what you expect to harvest. (it is not your need but the seed that determines the harvest) 4. Your harvest is established when your seed is sown (not on the day of his harvest: it is a decision of faith and not an emotional one) 5. Your seed must be planted in good ground. (It should be a good choice- like investments, Berkshire Hathaway, gold etc. There may come a time when even gold may fail but God will never fail!) 6. There is always a period of time between planting and harvest. 7. You must maintain your crop so you can enjoy a good harvest. We have been seeing three things how to maintain the harvest: (a) Holy Life. You ought to put God and a godly life first. Living ungodly affects your faith, you cannot receive anything from God when your faith is affected. (b) Evangelise. Evangelisation of the world must be your top priority. It is not godly to say: Lord, bless us four, Us four and no more People who say so are the most selfish people; they want to go to heaven, damn the rest of the world to hell! (c) You must discern deception. When riches arrive, sadly some people change for the worse rather than becoming better. When there is lack of teaching in this area, there is loss of focus and purpose. The deceitfulness of riches ruins the harvest: they did not have the mentality to heap and hoard when they did not have anything, but when money comes in; they change tack and do not allow it to flow through them! A little blessing, then lust comes in owing to lack of teaching and focus. We cannot blame money for it; we ought to blame the person for it! They have not looked into the word of God and built themselves. Money is neither bad nor good; it is neutral:

If the note you have is not counterfeit, you could spend it for its entire value: it is a piece of paper: neither evil nor good. It becomes good or evil depending on whose hand holds it! When you get a lot, you must become a better person: get deeper into the word so that all the money becomes a tool in your hand for the purposes of God! Maybe some do not get money into their hand since God is waiting on them to get to the maturity where they would handle it well. He wants you to grow and increase in the knowledge of God and understanding so you can handle all that! All you need is wisdom! Even on a budget of ten lakhs a month, you cannot attract four people to follow God unless we become a qualitatively better person who will spend money for Him; God can therefore heap it in your hand. Just like Abraham, who refused the king of Sodoms reward on returning from the battle of chederlaomer, you would be able to discern between the reward of God and ill gotten wealth. Gen 14:22 22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, 23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoe latchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich: The king of Sodom was not a godly man: he was the reason why Sodom was such a wicked place. Abraham joined the battle for his nephew Lots sake. If Abraham took the riches from Sodom, he gave a thought to what a person like Sodom was going to say: You know how Abraham came to be so wealthy? Before we receive from someone, we ought to be careful that God thinks about it! Abraham had lifted his hands to God: God can give a 1000 times more than Abraham; he would not stretch his hands to Sodom! If something came to us, it has to come as a blessing from God! We do not need to snatch, scratch, or scrounge for it! If your hand is lifted up to God (in church and elsewhere) we do not need to stretch it to man in expectation. Look to God as your source and supplier of every need. Some preachers complain they have to remain humble for other peoples sake: they would get mad if the preacher had a new motor cycle or car! So they end up having a love hate relationship with the people around: you berate them in your talk, you develop a chemistry they ensure they do not let you have much! We ought to quit looking at people as the source! When your heart is on God, you will never be upset if people do not give to you: God would order ravens to feed you! Ravens that snatch will serve you. These principles are tested and proved in ones life! It is too late to convince someone otherwise; (d) You must sow to your harvest, not from your harvest size. Gen 26 1 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. 2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: 3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; 4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; 5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.

6 And Isaac dwelt in Gerar: When trouble comes, we try to do what everyone does: the people were running to Egypt, a better managed country. Isaac was forbidden by God to leave; 12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. How did Isaac reap a hundred fold during the harvest? Popular opinion would have it that Isaac must have sowed a little and it must have increased by magic: and it came back too much. However, that is against biblical principles! The living bible says; 2 Cor 9:6 if you sow little you will reap little! A farmer who sows much will reap much. To think that Isaac sowed some of what he had and he received a hundred fold reward is not accurate. Wells dry, and in the absence of rain, Isaac did a calculation: no one was left behind in the land; he sowed anywhere possible; sowed without counting. He sowed as much as possible; he was planning for a bigger crop! It was matter of faith; in a difficult time; (people usually tighten their belts in the time of famine!) even though the neighbours did not have anything (not even seed), Isaac had seed. A lot of it (he had a rich dad). And he sowed it. The majority said: it is famine; hold on, tighten your fist, tide over the famine. Why sow (Nothing is growing)? If I sow, and there is no rain, who will water it? And if it never sprouts, and if I do not get a harvest what will I eat? People think this way! Keep your money tight, it is famine. Keep some for tomorrow! Isaac looks at all the seed he had; I expect God to give me the increase; I am going to sow. A lot of worldly people took these principles: Warren Buffet; When everyone is afraid, you should buy, When everyone is scared you should be greedy; when everyone is greedy, you should not buy. He must have gotten it from the word of God. Having only dealt with stocks, he has so much. Having earned much, he has given the majority of his assets to charity; his children only get a little. He believes so much in the power of the harvest: if my children do what I did, it will work for them and they can also have much! He is sitting on so much money; he began a trust with another rich man to underwrite projects for the whole world. And people are unable to dream up projects big enough for them to use their resources! They have thousands and thousands of crores stocked up that lie untouched. Even whole nations are unable to write projects big enough for them to invest: all their budgets are like small change! They have become rich by giving: doing things in difficult times in a bold way: they never fail since they are following a divine principle: from the word of God. Makes you wonder whether they know God! Faith is what causes them to live like Isaac, who sowed when everyone fled! He decided to sow in a big way: he followed his faith not his fear: that is why he reaped a 100 fold; he sowed in right proportion to his harvest; not influenced by the economic situations, hardships of the times, or his holding or income: he sowed according to his faithGod will give me an increase! Many Christians are plagued with fear of insufficiency: what if it is not sufficient? The give out of a shortage mindset: not on the basis of what God can do to the seed! When you give in faith, that faith will move mountains! You should not run your life or ministry dominated by

faith: do what God tells you to do, the will of God, what he shows. 2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: 3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, Staying in Egypt was not Isaacs idea; it was His idea! He did not sow big because of his greed: God told him I will bless you. After receiving the directive, he began to act big; it goes hand in hand. In days of famine do not listen to what everyone else says; every self-appointed economist, strategist, psychologist and prophet would try to influence: but do you listen to God; do you know the will of God? His direction; God is God who speaks because he is the living God. Another time, God spoke to Joseph before the famine. (Actually he spoke through Joseph to the king, making the riddle plain). Seven years of plenty when he could save for the 7 years of famine to follow- Gods idea! God can give an an idea which is so un-imaginable. A lot depend on how we hear God and discern His will over our lives- not moved by emotions or circumstances. Even in sowing we must not give emotionally- giving because someone played on your sentiments. Many give emotionally- and go home emotionally (sad). We must be moved by the spirit of God to act according to His word! If we know the mind of God, Gods wisdom will operate- He is the best business Partner you can have! Remember Paul Yonggi Cho and his Senior Partner! Your business, work, enterprise, hobby, everything; He is the best partner: he is bigger than any setback! This man Isaac reaps in the famine! Isaac believed God and did what God told him to do; and therefore prospered; he sowed in proportion to the harvest he received. Abraham too faced a famine but did not die in it! Abraham became rich in the famine. Even in our time there can be famine: famine will come and go but God is with us and give us the victory. (e) A part of the harvest id for you to eat and the other part, for you to sow. V7 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. There is a portion that we have that is for giving. V10 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) There is a harvest that is meant for you to plant: he ministers seed to the sower. There is also a portion for you to keep: read v 8. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: All sufficiency; that every need is met; and also that you may abound to every good work. (Dispersing abroad) more than enough so it can flow from you to others. So many have an ingrained idea that they cannot enjoy the blessings of God. (Only Christians have this problem). Look at the Garden of Eden: did he make a few trees and say: eat some? 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening? A tap in the corner of the garden: 3 buckets of water at limited time in a day A ration card: 3 kilos of rice and dhal, kerosene for the stove God had placed four rivers to play in for 2 people have a good time! Thousands upon thousands of fruit bearing trees. Some denominations would argue with

God- what a waste! God does not know how to make it little! (He is not your mother in-law) He is God- Elshaddai! Read about Gods dwelling place in Rev 21-22. His palace, the streets, the compound wall for the city! I want to make a place on earth as it is in heaven; rev 21-22 and gen 1-2 seem the same! This is a father building a house for his son- if you lived in a palace, would you pitch a hut for your son? You would build one according to your standard: for streets of gold in heaven, there were gold mines underneath the earth! You can make a lot of cash if one gram stuck to you: The tragedy in training ourselves to think poverty and even trying to train God to this tune! All sufficiency in all things Some are afraid they would get spoilt: all sufficiency is Gods idea! Nothing lacking- when plenty comes in God wants you to enjoy it since it is for you. Lies- if you build a house on earth, you will not have a house there! what lies! We have convenient stories- rich man and Lazarus- stories converted to suit some pet doctrines All sufficiency in all things! That is the way to live- to bring honour to God! Stretching our hand to everyone for alms and wearing a Jesus-saves badge is not going to save anyone! Your prospering will attract others with the message- God has been with you and blessed you. Deut 28: 8 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee. They will come to you and say, tell us about your God. Isaac prospered in the famine and the foreign land the inhabitants chased him out saying this is our fathers well. (Gen 26) they were envious of him. God wanted them to feel envious: some may be saved though jealousy! Not in a bad way: he wants to provoke them to realise there is a God to help you! The king Abimelech makes a treaty- lets be friends. Without the Jesus saves badge the king realised that God was with him! He read ii tin Isaacs life! God wants o use your prosperity, wellbeing and abundance he give you for his glory! Gods glory is involved: if that were not for his glory- it would be useless. Will your poverty glorify God? Not unless you get out of it and compare where you were and where you are! 2 Cor 9 says, people will see your charity and cry out to God for your blessing! God wants you to have all sufficiency!

53 Sowing and Reaping-10 Miracle of the Harvest

2 Cor 9: 6-11 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. The law of sowing and reaping works in everyones life whether people like it or not. Unknowingly many have sown the wrong type of seed, only to reap an unwelcome harvest. Whatever it is you need, determine the seed, and sow it: you will reap what you desire! It is not all in Gods hand: God has decided that it should be in your hands; He is so good! Do you believe it is in your hands? Your harvest is a miracle. No laboratory/ factory anywhere in the world has been able to produce a seed that produces a harvest by itself! Usually the harvest is taken as a common occurrence, but a miracle is involved in it. 1 Cor 3:6 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. You have to Plant and Water. Paul takes this seed language and applies it to the work of ministry. one plants, by preaching the gospel: another comes along and waters by teaching the word. Both planters and water-ers are sent by God. However, both these workers cannot produce anything unless God gives the increase. Believe God will work it out. The one who plants must believe that he will receive a harvest. Faith, a relationship and an expectation is involved! God does not detach himself; He makes sure it produces. Deut 28

38 Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it. All we need to do is diligently seek Him, and acknowledge His work in the harvest! Doubts creep in: you have to battle a thousand voices: however some may encourage you; they would consistently come! It is in our hands to sow and tend the crop. Do not say: God, I give it all to you: it is all in your hands: Do whatever you want to do! It is not in Gods hands: God has so much respect for you that he has fully given it in your hands! An acorn produces an oak tree A tomato seed produces a tomato plant The seed of a man produces a child that will look just like him! Seed faith. I have faith in the seed: it is called seed faith! Do you want a good life? The seed for it is in your hand! Do you want a promising future? It is futile to go about it through shortcut methods to get ahead! To steal someone elses barn we call that someone a thief! Identify the seed. Learn to identify what is the seed for the harvest you want: love can be a seed, time can be a seed, and encouragement can be a seed; prayer can be a seed; your money can be a seed. Find where to sow the seed. Stop saying you have nothing! God recognises that anything can become a seed; God can start with it and take it to great heights! Loans are a seed for a lot of trouble! Do you even have a thought? That could be a seed! Do you have a thought deep inside somewhere God can pull it out and reproduce it into miraculous marvellous harvest! Do not listen to everybody! Listen to your heart! Remember your creator in the days of your youth Why? It will help you identify your seed: God will grant you the desires of your heart! He helped me to identify what you are all about! When you know that, you can produce What can be a seed? Patience, love, time the seed is anything you have received from God that He wants to impart into someone else!
