Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus I ask you all to join me as I pray for my father Stanley on the occasion

of his 85th Birthday. Res: Lord hear our prayer. 1. Lord we pray that Daddy will realize that he was created for a higher purpose. Enable him to walk worthy of his calling and become the Man of God you made him to be. We pray that his heart may not be in conflict with yours. We pray to the Lord. Res 2. Dear Lord, we pray that you will protect Dad and Mums Marriage from anything that would try to harm or destroy it. Unite our parents in a bond of love, commitment, respect and friendship fuelled with your patience, Understanding and generosity. Lord let them be so committed to you that their commitment to each other will not waiver and their love for each other will grow stronger every day. We pray to the Lord. Res 3. Lord we pray for Dads priorities to be in perfect order. Be Lord and Ruler over his heart, Speak to him about making your Word, Prayer and Praise a priority. We pray that he will always seek you first and submit his will to you, for when he does, you will make the other pieces of his life fit together perfectly, for your Word says, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well We pray to the Lord Res 4. Heavenly father, we pray for your healing touch on Dad. Make every part of his body function the way you designed it to. Heal him of any disease, illness, injury or weakness. Help him to remember that his body is your temple and he should care for it as such. We pray that he will present it as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to you. Save him from any plans of the enemy that seek to destroy his life now and for eternity. We pray to the Lord Res 5. Lord we pray that you will give Daddy an added measure of faith today. Enlarge his ability to believe in You, Your Word, Your Promises, Your Ways and Your Power. Put a longing in his heart to talk with you and hear your voice. Feed his soul with your Word so his faith grows big enough to believe that with you all things are possible. We pray to the Lord Res 6. Lord we pray that you would convict daddy of any error in his life. Cleanse him from all sin. Help him to recognise his mistakes. Give him eyes to see your truth and ears to hear your voice. Take away all pride that will cause him to deny his faults and work into his soul a humility of heart, so that he will receive the honour You have for hm. We pray to the Lord Res 7. Lord we pray that you will deliver Daddy from anything that binds him. Lift him away from the hands of the enemy. We pray that he will be strong in the Lord and put on the whole armour of God so that he may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We pray to the Lord Res 8. Lord we pray that you will give Daddy a vision for his future, yes even at 85, for this life is just a drop in the ocean of eternity. Help him to understand that your plans for him are for good and not for evil. Fill him with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding that he may have a walk worthy of you, fully pleasing you, being fruitful in every good work. We pray to the Lord Res 9. Lord we pray for our Pope, Bishop, Clergy and your people that they may open their hearts to receive you, so your holy spirit can empower them to live the life you intended for them.
