Abdullah Bin Masood reported: Once I asked the Prophet Muhammad ( ) which action Allah loves most.

He replied, Prayer at its proper times. Then I asked him what came next, and he answered, Goodness to parents. Again I asked him what came next, and he replied, Jihad in the way of Allah. [SahihBukhari and Muslim] Interpretation:

Allah will make a home in Paradise for whoever builds a mosque for Him. Interpretation:

A rider should greet a pedestrian, a pedestrian should greet the one who is sitting and a small party should greet a large party. [SahihBukahri and Muslim] Interpretation:

When a Muslim visits his Muslim brother who is sick, he certainly gathers the fruits of paradise until he returns. [Sahih Muslim] Interpretation:

The Prophet Muhammad ( ) was once asked if a Muslim could be a coward, and he answered, It is possible. He was then asked if a Muslim could be a miser, and he again answered, It is possible. Afterwards, he was asked if a Muslim could be a liar, and he answered, No! A Muslim cannot be a liar. [SahihBukahri and Muslim] Interpretation:

He who kills himself with a metal weapon will be in the Hellfire with that weapon in his hand, thrusting it into his stomach forever, he who kills himself by drinking poison will sip that poison in the Hellfire, where he is doomed forever, and he who kills himself by throwing himself from a mountain will continue falling in the Hellfire- and

each of them will live forever in their respective states. [Sahih Muslim] Interpretatation: Jo koi apna qatal lohe kay hatiyar say karley wo jhanum mein rahega hath mein wohi hatiyar kay saath,

Allah forbids you to take an oath by your father. He who must take an oath should swear by Allah alone or keep silent. [SahihBukhari and Muslim] Interpretation: Allah manna karta hain kay tum apne walid ki qasam khaye. Jo koi qasam khan achahta hain wo Allah ki qasam khaye ya khamosh rahe.

Whoever swears by other than Allah has committed Shirk [Tirmizi] Interpretation: Jo koi Allah kay siwaye kisi aur ki qasam khaye usne shirk kya.

8.

Everything belonging to one Muslim is forbidden to another Muslim; so do not entertain envy or ill will, do not spy or search for faults, and do not make false bids or interfere with others deals. Rather, be Allahs servants and brothers to each other. [Sahih Muslim] Interpretation:

Whenever you see a person who has more wealth than you, or is better than you in face or figure, you should look at someone else who is inferior to you in those respects. [SahihBukhari and Muslim] Interpretation: Jab kabhi tum kisi aise shaqs ko dekho jis kay pass bahouth doulat hain, ya tum say acha hain apne husn o jamal mein, tab tum aise shaqs ko dekho jot um say kamtar ho.

When a man praised someone in the presence of the Prophet ( ), he said three times, "Woe be to you! You have broken the neck of your friend!'' He repeated this several times and added, "If one of you has to praise his friend at all, he should say: `I

reckon him to be such and such and Allah knows him well', if you think him to be so-and-so, you will be accountable to Allah because no one can testify the purity of others against Allah.'' [SahihBukhari and Muslim]. Interpretation:

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The worst type of thief is the one who steals from his prayer. The people asked, O Messenger of Allaah, how can a person steal from his prayer? He said: By not doing rukoo and sujood properly. [Sahih al Jaami' Hadeeth 997] Interpretation: Rasul Allah(s.a.w) ne farmaya: Sab say baatareen wo shaqs hain jo apni salah mein chori karey. Logoun ne sawal kya, aye Allah kay Rasool(s.a.w), aisa kaisa hosakta kay koi apni salah mein chori karey? Aap(s.a.w) ne farmaya Rukoo aur sajda sahin na ada karna.

Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives Allah adds to his

respect, and the one who shows humility Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people). [Sahih Muslim] Interpretation: Sadqa say maal mein koi kami nahi hoti aur jo bandoo ko maaf karey Allah us ki izzat badata hain, aur jo koi narmi ekhtiyar karey Allah logoun mein us kay darje bulnd karta hain.

Every innovation is misguidance and every misguidance is going astray. Interpretation: har bidaat gumrahi hain aur har gumrahi jhanum ka rasta hain.

RAMADAAN 1. When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained. [Bukhari] Interpretation: "Jab Ramzan ka mahina shuru hota hai to, Jannat ke darwaze kholdiye jaate

hain aur Jahannum ke darwaze band kardiye jate hain aur Shaitano ko qaid kardiya jata hai." 2. "Whoever observes fasts during the month of ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah's rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven."[Bukhari] Interpretation: Jo shaks Ramdan me imaan aur sawaab ka kaam samajh kar roze rakhe iske pichle gunaah maaf kardiye jaate hain. 3. If any one of you is fasting, let him not use obscene language or act in an ignorant manner, and if anyone insults him or wants to fight him, let him say, I am fasting.[Bukhari] Interpretation: Jab tum me se koi shaks rozadaar hotoh isko chaahiye ke behuda baat na kar eaur na koi jahalat ka ka kare aur shaks iss se ladayi jhagda kare ya gaali de toh isse kehdena chahiye ke mai rozedaar hoon mai rozedaar hoon. 4. Every act of the son of Adam is for him except fasting. It is done for My sake, and I will give a reward for it. [Bukhari]

Interpretation: Ibn e Adam ka har amal is , sivaye roze ke, roza mere liye hai aur mai hi iska badla doonga. 5. The unpleasant smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk [Bukhari] Interpretation: Rozedaarkemuhkiboh Allahtaalakomashqkikhusboo se bhizyadapasandeedahai. 6. "Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward." [Tirmidhi] Interpretation: Jisnekisirozedaarkoiftaarkarayaisseissrozedaar k barabarsawaabhogabaghairiskekerozedaarkesawa ab me koi kami ho. 7. Fast will intercede for the servant on the Day of Judgment. Fast will say: Oh my Lord! I have prevented this servant from eating and drinking and from satisfying his desires; hence accept my

intercession for him, Accordingly, the intercession will be accepted. [Musnad Ahmad] Interpretation: Rozaaur Quran qayamatke din bandekehaq me sifarishkarenge, rozakahega aye mere rabmaineissekhaanepeeneaurapnikhwahishaatpur ikarne se rokerakha, pas iskeliyemerisifarishkhuboolfarma. Chunache, sifarishkhuboolkijayegi. 8. There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord; then he will be pleased because of his fasting. Interpretation: Rozedaarkeliye do khushiyanhainjinsewokhushipaayega.Awwal, jab woiftaarkartahaitohkhushhotahai, duwwam jab woapneRabb se milegaaurrozekebadle me inaampaayegatohkhushhoga. 9. Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting) [Bukhari]

Interpretation: Jo shaksrozarakhkarjhootbolnaaurissparamalkarnan achordetoh Allah koiskizarooratnahikewohkhanapeena chord de. 10. There is a gate in Paradise called Al-Raiyyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, Where are those who used to observe fasts? They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it. [Bukhari] Interpretation: Jannatkaekdarwazahaijiskanaam Riyaan haijisseqayamatke din rozedaarguzrenge, inkealawaissdarwaaze se koi dusranahiguzrega. 11. At every breaking of the fast Allah has people whom He frees (from the Fire) and that happens every night. [Ibn-e-Majah]

Interpretation: Allah taalaharroziftarkewaqtlogo kojahannum se nijaatdetehain, auraisaharrozhotahai. 12. With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, Rasul ALLAH s.a.w used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers. Interpretation: Jab Ramdankeakhri 10 din shuruhotetohRasoolallahibadatkeliyekamarbasta hojate, raatokojaagteaurapneahlwaayaalkobhijagaate. 13. There is a Night, in this Month (of Ramazan) which has approached you, which is better than a thousand months. Whoever is unable to benefit from the blessings of this magnificent Night (Lailat-Al-Qadr) is unable to collect blessings of all kinds. [Ibn-e-Majah] Interpretation: Ye mahinajo tum par ayahaiismeekraataisihaijohazaarmahino se behtarhai. Jo iskisaadathasilkarne se mahroomrahawohharbhalaayi se mehroomraha.

14. He who observed the fasts of Ramadan and then followed it with six (fasts) of Shawwal, it would be as if he fasted perpetually [Muslim] Interpretation: Jo shaksRamdankerozerakhkar Shawwal me bhi 6 rozerakheisseumrbharkerozokasawaabmiltahai.
