Product Description
Is a two component, flexible cementitious waterproofing membrane. It consist of selected cement blend with well graded fillers and synthetic resin. It could be applied unto damp substrates by brush, roller or spray. Grandflex 72 is capable of bridging hairline cracks . Surface Preparation

The substrates must be clean and sound free of dust and loose particles. Cement laitance, oil, grease, mould release agents must be removed from concrete surfaces by wire brushing, scrabbling or by other means. Dampen the substrates prior to application. It is recommended that cement and a sand fillet be formed at all corners to receive the waterproofing membrane. Prior to the application of the waterproofing membrane, dampen the substrate with water while ensuring that no free water is present on the surface.

Mixing Instruction

Pour Part A (liquid) into a clean container. Slowly add Part B (powder) into the container and mix with a slow speed mechanical mixer until homogenous and Lump free. Allow the mix to stand for 5 minutes and re-stir manually before use.

Application

For best results, damp the surface before coating with GRANDFLEX 72. For horizontal and vertical surfaces, a roller, brush or spray gun, may be used to apply the slurry. Care must be taken to ensure that air is not entrapped in the membrane. Apply the 1 coat and work generously to fill all the pores and honeycombs. Allow the membrane to dry approximately 2 to 3 nd hours prior to application of the second coat. The 2 coat must be applied crosswise. After applying the 2 coat of waterproofing membrane, allow a minimum curing time interval of 15 72 hours before laying the screed and commencing ponding test exceed 4 hours, a minimum curing time interval of 72 hours is recommended.

Coverage

The coverage rate of GRANDFLEX 72

1.72kg/m for 2 coat application to obtain 1mm thickness. 2.0 to 2.25 kg/m for 2 coat application to obtain approximately 1.5mm thickness depending on site conditions. Note: Coverage figures are theoretical and due to wastage factors and the nature of possible substrates, practical coverage will be reduced.

GRANDFLEX 72 is available in 35 kg pack. Storage Health and Safety

The shelf life of GRANDFLEX 72 is 12 months when stored unopened in a cool and dry place. GRANDFLEX 72 should be treated with care. Gloves and goggles should be worn. Any splashes to the skin or eyes should be washed off with clean water. Powder products should be handled to minimize dust formation. GRANDFLEX 72 is non-flammable.
