Your Blood Cholesterol Test Results

High blood cholesterol is one of the major risk factors for heart disease. But high level of blood cholesterol does not cause a symptom - people do not feel ill just by having high blood cholesterol - many people are totally unaware that their cholesterol level is too high. Therefore it is very important to keep a constant monitor of your cholesterol level. Consult your physician about your blood cholesterol level. Total cholesterol levels (1): < 200 mg/dL (5.2 mmol/L) Desirable 200 - 239 mg/dL (5.2 -6.2 mmol/L) Borderline High 240 mg/dL (6.2 mmol/L) High Contact your physician for advice if you keep getting high results.
