ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Level: Medium
PAPER FLOWERS
Using scissors, carefully cut
out all paper fower pieces
along solid grey lines.
MATERIALS:
Scissors
Glue
Paperclip (optional)
3 copies of paper fower petals
1 copy of stem and leaves
Take one petal piece and lay printed-
side down. Fold in half from corner to
corner to form a large triangle shape.
Fold both sides of triangle up to
form a diamond shape.
Fold right side down, making sure to line it up with the edge beneath. Repeat
on the other side.
Flip the left side up to align with the top of the diamond
shape. Insert fnger into pocket and fold down, as shown
below. Remove fnger and press section fat.
Repeat on the other side.

Fold back the top portion of the left side so that it is level
with the edge of the paper. Next, unfold that portion and
tuck it behind the pocket. Repeat on the other side.
Apply glue to one side and
adhere to the opposite side to
form a cone.
Repeat steps 2-8 to make a
total of fve petals.
Now you are ready to create your fower. Add a thin line of
glue along the inside edge of one petal, and then adhere it to
another. Let the petals dry completely before gluing the next
one on.
To create the stem, frst fold along the score line.
Next, roll into a thin tube, about the width of a pencil.
(To create a slight curve in the stem, straighten a
paperclip and insert it inside, near the top.) Apply a
strip of glue along the inside edge of the stem and
hold in place until dry.
Fold the leaf pieces in half along the
score lines, and glue together. Cut out
along solid lines.
If you added a paperclip in step
11, gently bend the top of the stem
to create the natural curve of the
fower. Youre done!

Insert the stem through the top center of the fve petals.

Glue your leaves to the stem. Add one
leaf where the petals meet the stem. Add
the other leaves a little farther down.

Take one triangle shape and fold
upward, folding the shape in half.
Repeat on the other side.
