ACET - The best school!

It can be said that Vietnam now has become a very good place where creates the most
favorable condition for the development of English language centers. As a matter of
fact, there are currently so many English language centers which have made their
presence in Vietnam. Some have long established their reputation on English language
training market such as Ila, Apollo or Vietnam USA Society (VUS). In such a diversified
market, choosing a suitable language school which can best meet everyone’s demands
is not that easy at all. This depends much on eveyone’s own ability as well as financial
capacity. To the best of my knowledge, ACET is the best school that can meet our
expectations both in the traning program and the fee. Should we want to improve
English in the most effective way, this is the best school to enter. There is no doubt that
ACET has gradually dominated the English training market both in the quality of
training and the quantity of students.
My knowledge as well as impression about ACET come from the very useful advice of
my friend when I told him my plan to study abroad. He has studied at ACET for a long
time; thus he can know how excellent ACET is. After discussing with him, I decided to
enter ACET. I got a placement test and took the first course at ACET. Perhaps, you can
not realize my feeling when I came here. I was a little bit nervous but also very excited
because it was the first time I took an English course. I was deeply impressed by the
method of studying and teaching here. The sudents are always encouraged by the
teachers to create and innovate their ideas. Any students who need help can be
carefully and enthusiastically instructed by teachers. In fact, in the first course, Level 2b,
my teacher helped me a lot by explaning very carefully the points I could not catch up.
Little by little, I can master all the key points and become more confident. The more I
study here, the more I enjoy. Everyday is a new source of inspiration and new fun to
me. I really love teachers at ACET. They are very good at realizing what are the strong
points and weak points of their students as well as knowing how to develop the
students’ abilities and reduce the mistakes. Furthermore, they impart the knowledge in a
very objective way and never impose their own opinions on students. They do know
what their students really need. Before starting the lesson, they always give their
students a questionnaire paper and the students can write down anything they like or
dislike. After that, they will collect all the points and find the best solutions. I think that is
the best teaching method in education. Teachers respect and support their students.
Teachers try their best to make their students more progressive and more confident in
developing their skills - the most important thing. You can take my case as an example.
Before studying at ACET, I know very little about English. I even cannot speak an
English sentence and my pronunciation is very bad. However, after studying here, my
command of English is much improved. I remembered my friends’ sayings: it is very
easy now to recognise the difference between my past English and my current one. And
I, I think that the decision to study at ACET is a right and clear one.
It is hard for me to express my feeling after so many months studying at ACET. I just
want to tell you all that I love this place. I love everything here: from people to learing
environment. I love all. To me, it is my second home where I can find the feeling of
being cared, educated and brought up. When entering ACET, I notice that the English
world is so immense and limitless; therefore, I want to discover as much as possible. I
like study English not only because it helps me to study abroad but also it is a real
passion to me. I know that I must make more effort to obtain my objectives and I think
that how lucky I am to study in such a good school like ACET. This is the school which
helps me discover new things and make advanced. With all this, I can confidently say
that ACET is the place where the best becomes better.

 Studying at ACET: Why the highest price but no space left?
The tuition fee for one course at ACET is now over than VND 9 million which is
considered as the highest one in HCMC, while at other language schools is
usually far less expensive. However, ACET is still full of students. It is obvious
that its teaching quality is really reliable, based on 3 main factors, namely,
learning hours, regulations and experienced teachers.

Firstly, there are 100 hours for studying in a course. It creates opportunities for
students to have much more time to interact with English teachers. The more you
communicate with native English speakers, the better your English is improved.
In addition, students may have great chances to obtain valuable advices from
their teachers’ experience.

Secondly, the regulations of ACET are slightly strict but extremely useful, such as
students have to come to class on time, arriving late for over 15 minutes is
considered as for 1 hour and if students are absent for over 6 hours in 3
subsequent weeks, they have to be expelled. Although feeling quite
uncomfortable at the first time, most students now are getting used to them and
taking them seriously. These regulations have good effects on students’ attitude.
They help students to be more careful and responsible for their studying. In
addition, after being expelled, refund is not available, which reminds students of
that spending money on studying is a precious investment. Therefore, loosing
concentration on studying means wasting money and time.

The last factor to be mentioned is experienced and enthusiastic teachers. They

are always ready to help students with grammar, vocabularies and
pronounciation as well. Some of teachers are examiners of the IELTS test, so
they can not only teach students strategies to do the test but also assist them to
avoid making common mistakes.

I have studied at ACET for 2 courses and my English has been improved
considerably. Like many other students, I came to ACET because of my friends’
and relatives’ testimonials. They confirmed confidently its top teaching quality.
Although the tuition fee of ACET might be assessed as the highest one in HCMC,
no one can deny its excellence and effectiveness.

 ACET

ACET seems too small if we compare it with some others English

schools such as ILA or VUS. However, I think their quality inside is
excellent. One thing which I like most at ACET is the really professional
teaching staff. I recognized their excellent teaching methods and their
enthusiasm. They helped me a lot to find a scientific method of studying
English and gave me a lot of useful advice. They made me feel more
confident in speaking although my speaking skills at the beginning were
very weak.

In addition, the attendance rules , as well as the study rules are very
effective. They are the strictest rules of any English school in Vietnam I
have ever known. At first, I felt these rules are too strict and it is very
difficult to follow. But after attending the course , I think the rules are very
useful and necessary for us. If we follow these rules seriously, we will
have good study habits.

Furthermore, the library is also good and qualitative. There are many
kind of books and CDs which are very useful for me to improve my
Engligh skills by myself. Moreover, there are may websites which are pre-
paid so that we can sign in and find a lot of useful information. Especially,
students can borrow books and CDs for seven days so we can use them
to study at home if we do not have time to come to the library in working
hours.

In my opinion, ACET is very good for people who want to achieve

academic English skills, especially who have plan to study abroad. I did
recommend it to all of my friends and I think they will probably be satisfied
with ACET ‘ conditions if they attend the course.

 ACET IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CENTRES
According to me, ACET is the best language centre to study English and develop my

confidence. I ensure this because ACET is different from other language centres.Firstly,

ACET has a large number of experienced teachers coming from various countries such

as American, England and Australia. This is extremely useful for students who intend

going abroad or studying at international schools in Vietnam because they will flexible

with different accents. In addition, all teachers are friendly and willing to help students in

improving students’ weak skills. Secondly, ACET has an intensive schedule which is

helpful for students who want to prepare and take the IELTS exam as soon as possible.

Thirdly, at the end of every class, students will have feedbacks from teachers to help

students know what skills they are not good, and students also write feedbacks about

their teachers for director in order to help director know what he needs to suggest

teachers for improving the teaching way of them. This is all because the benefit of

students. Finally, ACET has suitable books containing useful method to develop four

main skills including listening, speaking, writing and reading. Moreover, these books

also have different kind of tasks that require students to speak in class discussion and

presentation. As a result, after finishing each course at ACET, students not only

improve their English but also become more confident in communication.

 ACET – MY RIGHT CHOICE

People often consider carefully in getting important decisions in their life. I am

no exception. For me, English is an access to future career development. That is
why I am really careful in choosing English center which can meet my own
requirements.
Most of English centers in Vietnam are similar: English centers are kinds of
business. They teach certain ways of learning English and make their students –
“their customers” be happy to come back. However, I found the differences at ACET.
ACET does not only teach English, but also teach students self-study skills. In
my opinion, self-study skills are so important. Almost people do not know how to
study efficiently but study instinctively when they were born. It might waste their time,
money or bring them bad results sometimes. Therefore, people need to be trained of
identifying their strong points and weak points, also choosing suitable self-study
skills to achieve their desired learning results. ACET does not disappoint me. Weekly
lectures offer me the methods of efficient study, organizing daily work logically, and
taking the rest time reasonably. Additionally, group discussions, group presentation
and lectures of developing creative ideas, such as brainstorming, mind-mapping,…
are perfectly useful for me. I also evaluate ACET regulations which can help people
distinguish ACET from other centers. ACET requires active and industrious students,
as well as require them to prove their self-awareness and responsibility of their
English studying.
According to these figures, ACET is not an English center, but an English
school where I can learn how to use both English and my trained skills to reach my
aims.

Nếu bạn dự định tìm một trung tâm ngoại ngữ để nâng cao tiếng anh của mình thì bạn dựa
vào những tiêu chuẩn nào để chọn? Có phải hai câu hỏi chung nhất là trung tâm đó chất
lượng dạy như thế nào và học phí ra sao?

Cá nhân tôi, trước khi bắt đầu theo một khoá anh ngữ tôi phải xác định mình đang cần tiếng
anh giao tiếp tổng quát hay tiếng anh học thuật. Khi tìm kiếm thông tin ở các trung tâm, tôi
mong mỏi tìm được chương trình học giúp mình giao tiếp thành thạo tiếng anh và có khả
năng học tập ở các trường quốc tế. Như các bạn đã biết học ngôn ngữ không giống như
mình học văn hay sử, địa, bạn phải thật sự thoải mái với nó; mỗi ngày đến lớp là thời gian vui
vẻ. Một ngày không thể quên khi tôi thắng hai trò chơi về từ vựng và cách đặt câu hỏi trong
tiếng anh, hôm đó không có quà hay kẹo nhưng cái tôi nhận được nhiều hơn một giải thưởng
, thầy đã áp dụng cách học hữu ích và thư giãn nhất. Game chỉ là một hoạt động nhỏ xen
giữa hàng loạt phương pháp học mà tôi chưa từng được biết trước đây như impromtu talk
nâng cao tự tin và ứng khẩu, hay reading circle nâng cao khả năng đọc và hiểu. Sau đó lại
quay lại học nghiêm túc đối với kiến thức quan trọng.

Trình độ tiếng anh của tôi đã tăng vượt bậc, tôi sắp hoàn thành chương trình anh văn giao
tiếp và chuẩn bị vào chương trình học thuật ở ACET. Thư viện ACET cung cấp cho tôi tài liệu
hữu ích cho mỗi cấp độ giúp dễ dàng tiếp thu hơn. Chị quản thư luôn sẵn sàng giúp đỡ tôi
tìm sách phù hợp cho từng kĩ năng. Đến với ACET, bạn sẽ tìm thấy sự chuyên nghiệp trong
mọi phương diện, chắc chắn đầu tư của bạn sẽ sinh lợi. Hãy hỏi những người bạn đã từng
học ở ACET, họ đáng tin cậy hơn các chương trình quảng cáo.

 ACET

I am not good at English that is a prerequisite for studying abroad. Based on a lot
of information I collected, I assumed that ACET is the most suitable English
language school for everyone who would like to get a high score in the IELTS
exam.

Before learning at ACET, I had attended the entrance exam that was established
to divide students into suitably able class. In the first day studying at level 3B at
ACET, I was very disappointed with the syllabus. Everything I needed was the
skills for the IELTS test, but the program concentrated in the grammar. Besides, I
did not have much time to practice speaking with the teacher. Instead, I usually
spoke English with my friends who were the same ability as me. That was the
reason why I wondered how to get the high score in the IELTS exam and I
wanted to stop studying at ACET after one term.

Surprisingly, my English skills improved significantly. Not only writing essay but
also speaking skill got a lot of better. At that time, I realized that the study
program at ACET was very effective. At the moment, I do not think grammar is
useless because grammar has been helping me use variety of structures to
become a good written English person. Secondly, there is no doubt that speaking
with my friends made me more confident, and now I can believe in myself when
communication with the foreigner after one month. Furthermore, the supportive
study environment in which I must speak English all day improves gradually my
listening skill.

In conclusion, I have convinced myself that ACET creates the most effective
environment for studying English. Under these conditions, together with my
exertion, I believe I can improve my English skill very much and a bright future
will be on the horizon.

 Cảm nhận về ACET.
Tôi vừa mới hoàn thành một khóa học tại ACET. Trước đây, tôi đã từng theo học rất
nhiều khóa học tại các trung tâm anh ngữ trong thành phố. Nhưng sau khi học tại
ACET, tôi rất hài lòng về khóa học. Môi trường học tập nơi đây rất tốt: giáo viên là
chủ đạo, học viên là chủ động. Giáo viên rất thân thiện luôn tìm và hiểu được tâm lý,
khả năng của từng học viên, giúp chúng tôi cải thiện được những kỹ năng còn yếu.
Bạn bè trong lớp luôn cố gắng giúp đỡ nhau học tập. Các anh chị nhân viên văn
phòng thì luôn theo sát việc học tập của học viên. ACET luôn đặt mục tiêu kết quả
học tập của học viên lên hàng đầu là sự phát triển của mình.

Sau khi theo học tại đây, tôi đã không còn e dè khi sử dụng anh ngữ, không còn
cảm thấy mắc cỡ khi đứng trước đám đông. Giáo trình tại đây không chỉ dạy cho
học viên những kỹ năng anh ngữ mà còn hướng dẫn cho học viên khả năng học tập,
nghiên cứu vấn đề độc lập, khả năng làm việc theo nhóm và khả năng thuyết trình,
trình bày trước đám đông. Đây là bước chuẩn bị để tôi có thể học tập tại nước ngoài
sau này.

Tôi sẽ theo học hết tất cả các khóa học còn lại của mình tại ACET, để đạt được kết
quả cao nhất trong kì thi IELTS và chuẩn bị hành trang cho việc học tập tại nước
ngoài.

 Những điều liên quan đến ACET mà tôi thích.

Với ước mơ học tập và làm việc ở nước ngoài, tôi muốn các kỹ năng tiếng Anh
của mình phát triển tốt nhất. Tôi đã học ở nhiều trung tâm ngoại ngữ,từ giáo viên Việt
Nam cho đến giáo viên nước ngoài.Tuy nhiên, tôi vẫn chưa thật sự hài lòng về những
gì mình đạt được.Thật vậy, các kỹ năng nghe,nói,đọc,viết của tôi tiến bộ một cách
chậm chạp.

Qua sự giới thiệu của bạn bè,tôi tìm đến ACET với hy vọng tìm ra các phương
pháp học tiếng Anh tốt nhất.Ấn tượng đầu tiên của tôi về ACET chính là nhân
viên ở đây rất nhiệt tình,thân thiện và tâm lý.Điều đó được thể hiện qua sự làm việc
nhanh nhẹn và nụ cười rất tươi luôn thường trực trên khuôn mặt.Mọi thủ tục cần thiết
hay những quy định quan trọng khi nhập học tôi đều được các nhân viên hướng dẫn và
giải thích rõ ràng.

Tôi không phủ nhận mình là một người không mấy hoạt bát.Trong ngày đầu học
tại ACET, tôi nhút nhát như đứa trẻ con vào lớp một,nhưng chính nhờ sự thân thiện,tận
tình và cách làm việc chuyên nghiệp của các giáo viên,tôi biết mình phải phá vỡ bức
tường ngại ngùng mà hòa nhập vào môi trường học tập nghiêm túc nhưng không kém
phần sôi nổi của lớp học.

Chỉ trong một thời gian ngắn học tập tại ACET, tôi thấy mình đã tiến bộ nhiều hơn
về mọi mặt.Tôi thấy tiếc cho bản thân mình vì trước đây đã không thể chọn ACET làm
viên gạch nền tảng cho ngôi nhà kiến thức của tôi.

“Bạn đã có một sự lựa chọn đúng đắn” – Đó là tất cả những gì tôi có thể nói về

ACET khi được bạn bè hỏi đến và sau đó quyết định chọn ACET làm nơi để học tập và

rèn luyện kỹ năng Anh Văn. Tôi bắt đầu học ở ACET từ 1 năm trước đây. Đó cũng là

lần đầu tiên tôi được tiếp xúc với những phương pháp giảng dạy hòan tòan mới và

chuyên nghiệp. Giáo trình dạy được thiết kế phụ hợp với từng trình độ của học viên.

Thêm vào đó với đội ngũ giáo viên chuyên môn tận tụy và nhiệt huyết trong giảng dạy

và hỗ trợ học viên tốt nhất. Ngòai ra, tôi đã từng học ở nhiều trung tâm đào tạo Anh

Văn trước đây, một điều rõ ràng rằng tôi vẫn không tìm được một định hướng rõ ràng

trong việc học tập Anh Văn nhưng với ACET, bạn có thể thấy một môi trường giảng dạy

nghiêm túc và chuyên nghiệp mang lại cho từng học viên sự hứng thú va nhiệt huyết

trong học tập. Trong những giờ học trong lớp, ngòai việc được rèn luyện Anh Văn học

thuật, học viên còn được trang bị thêm những kỹ năng quan trọng như làm việc trong

nhóm, khả năng diễn đạt hiệu quả và chính xác hơn. Quan trọng hơn tất cả là khả năng

tư duy độc lập và trình bày ý tưởng trước mọi người. Điều đó rất cần thiết với tất cả học

viên đang dự định du học trong tương lai và cả những học viên chuẩn bị và đang học

tập trong các trường Đại Học hiện nay. Bạn sẽ thấy những định hướng trong việc rèn
