Metal Enclosures IP65 are designed to accommodate various types of switchgear and controlgear assemblies to suit
a variety of electrical installations in commercial and light industrial premises. They are designed for outdoor applications up to IP65.

Removable gland plate at the bottom side with gasket to secure the IP
rating
Earthing studs are provided on both the enclosure and the door (Figure - 4)
Double door for width more than 800mm, with a three-point lock
CNC machine formed polyurethane gasket for reliable sealing (Figure - 5)
Corner formed door ensures better weatherproofing and gives aesthetic
look (Figure - 6)
Concealed hinges giving a door-opening angle of 120 to 130
Easily removable hinges, ideal for changing the door opening direction (for
certain sizes)
Door supported with stiffeners for more rigidity
Stiffeners are perforated for easy cabling and for fixing other accessories
Lock features:
Quarter turn cylindrical lock
Metal keys and locking mechanism for durability
Key engaged when the lock is open
Special profiled lip for better waterproofing (Figure - 7)
A kit containing assembly hardware and instruction manual is provided
with the enclosure

Made of high quality electro-galvanized steel sheet of thickness up to 1.5mm (refer tables on page 3, 4 & 5)
Matt-finish polyester powder coated in RAL-7032 light grey colour
Standard mounting plate made of hot dip galvanized steel sheet of 2mm thickness with holes for strips (Figure - 3,
can be supplied separately)
