Zeotec knows the raw material and thats why Zeotec add value to Simple clay. We induce porosity in each particle which inturn gives surface area for colour adsorption and provide permeability to oil to flow through. It is low bulk density product so cover more area for decolorisation. Induced porosity in each particle provides high surface area for decolourization. Controlled particle size increases the filtration rate and minimize oil retention. Particles are so treated such that it does not disintegrate during the process and choke the filtration system. ZEOSIL bleaching earth is manufactured now to cut down cost of refining and consumption of bleaching earth. The bleaching earth consumption will be reduced from 30 to 50% minimum in comparison with world-renowned top quality bleaching earths currently available in the market. ZEOSIL is a high adsorptive capacity active bleaching earth used in a wide scope of application. It is manufactured by acid activation process from high grade selected calcium based Fullers Earth mined from our vast mines. ZEOSIL is a fine, grayish-white powder showing a highly porous inner structure and a multitude of acid sites upon its surface. ZEOSIL is a well suitable for the removable of compounds like chlorophyll a & b, beta-carotinoids, phospholipids and peroxides, via chemisorptions and acid catalysis. The bleaching earth is exceptionally good for difficult to bleach oils and fats, vegetable oil, microcrystalline wax, petroleum jelly, petroleum products etc. ZEOSIL is very suitable for refining vegetable and animal oils and fats, moreover for furnishing and/or reprocessing numerous types of mineral oils, paraffins and waxes. ZEOSIL has excellent bleaching efficiency on Castor Oil, Soya Bean Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Olive Oil, Cotton seed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Mustard Oil, microcrystalline wax & Insulating Oil. Filtration Properties : ZEOSIL shows excellent filtration performance. The filtration time(according to the standard method) averages between 25 and 60 seconds resulting in higher output. Chemical Analysis : From a chemical point of view bleaching earth is hydmted silicate aluminium, which is mineral logically, related to Attapulgite. In this mineral there exist a 4 to 1 proportion between silicic acid and Alumina. The Alumina component may be replaced partially by iron & magnesium. The analyses of given type of bleaching earth is of minor importance as regards its quality. The average composition of our product for instance, is as follows: Silicium Oxide : 47.8% Magnesium Oxide : 3.8% Bleaching / Color Reduction : It is essential process or adsorption, therefore when developing our bleaching earth it is our aim to furnish for each of the different types of oil a special grade of bleaching earth having a maximum power of adsorption. As a result each grade maybe relied upon, in its particular application, to produce the highest possible bleaching effects under condition of maximum economy as regard of consumption of material. The advantage of our product from an economic point of view are due to reduction in the quantity of bleaching earth required as well as to attendant reduction in the amount of oil lost in the bleaching process. Particle Size Distribution : Besides other method, the particle size distribution of ZEOSIL is determined by a sieve analysis of the dry powder. The following average values have been found for the various mesh BSS sieve fractions : + 100 = 2 %, + 200 = 6% to 18 % + 240 = 2% to 15 %, + 300 = 5%, to 25 %.
