Responsible for leadership, product & business development, and subsequent sale of the company. Highlight of accomplishments: Secured funding which allowed for the product development and manufacturing of the switch. Successfully identified and assembled the executive team to take emerging telecommunications switch technology product from the idea phase to completion. Developed processes that focused the organization on operational efficiency taking concept to prototype; prototype to completed product and product to market usurping all production goals. Accomplished this major undertaking in less than 6 months. Negotiated manufacturing relationships to produce just in time inventory to the marketplace. IBM Corporation 1989 1990 Consultant leading a development team focusing on a radiology imaging program which launched IBM into the medical imaging sector. This product is still used today by radiologists to expedite the reading of all forms of imaging results. AT&T Corporation 1988 1989 Consultant serving as the program manager on the Federal Telecommunication Service (FTS) contract for the Trouble Ticketing application. This application was the first of its kind for large scale telecommunications programs for the Federal Government in user interfacing to the telecommunication providers. BITE, Inc. 1987 1988 Senior Engineer functioning as the team lead for the Advanced Automation Systems (AAS) program for FAA. This program was the first installation of the non-paper based air traffic controlled system deployed by the U.S. Federal Government. Sikorsky Aircraft 1986 1987 Simulation Engineer serving as the lead engineer for the Blackhawk helicopter failure analysis project. This program ungrounded the helicopters and was responsible for saving the lives of the pilots.
