Learning Outcomes: Students will learn to use communication skills to convey their argument in an appropriate manner. They will learn to use multimedia as part of their assessment and enhance their presentation. Students will be able to display their creativity in their mode of presentation. They will learn to build their confidence in public speaking and be able to develop as a skill they can use for life.

Students will present their chosen tasks in a medium of their choice. This will help students build on their communication skills which can be translated into employability skills for life. Students will also be able to use their knowledge of multimedia in a productive and creative manner that will help them later in their academic life. This presentation task will be make students aware of their ability to be creative and productive, and that learning can actually be interactive and enjoyable.

Assessment Students will be assessed on their presentations. Each group gets 8 10 minutes to complete their presentations. They will be assessed on the: Creativity of their presentation. Use of multimedia Time management Use of a variety of sources Ability to clearly demonstrate an understanding of their chosen topic Ability to answer their own research question Procedure 10 minutes Students are given time to set up the multimedia equipment needed. Laptop computer provided to them. One team member from each group must load their presentations on it at the start of the class to make sure it will work and there is no waste of time during groups to set up. 40 50 minutes Each group presents their talk.

Conclusion: To conclude the unit students will be given a recap of the 20 - 30 minutes topic. They will be given the opportunity to complete their written tasks the following week if they have not completed it today. Then shown a portion of the Charlie Chaplin film Modern Times.
