Name of Work:- C/o 14 Nos. SPS Classrooms (D/S) including one toilet block and staircase at Govt. Sarvodaya (Co.Ed.) Vidyalaya,A-2, Paschim Vihar New Delhi 110081 Brief specifications: The brief specifications for the work shall be as under: a) Foundation and plinth: The foundations shall be with brick masonry of CD 75 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse) in spread stepped footings over 150 mm aggregate 40 mm nominal size). Flooring in ground Floor shall be laid over 100 mm thick cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement: 5 coarse sand: 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) over 150 mm thick Jamuna sand filling. Plinth beam of reinforced cement concrete 1:1:3:(1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand: 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) shall be provided at plinth level. b) Superstructure: The superstructure of the building shall be load-bearing construction. Provision has been made for RCC bands at lintel level and roof level. Brickwork in superstructure shall be with bricks of class designation 75 in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand). The terrace roof shall comprise of 50 mm thick rough chileled red sand stone slab supported over RCC beams and Angle-iron members. c) Doors & windows: Frames of the doors shall be with T-iron frames (40 X 40 X 6 mm). All the doors except for internal WC doors of toilets shall be of 1 mm thick mild steel door shutter (single leaf) with frame of 25x25x4mm M.S. angle iron having five partitions and one lock rail comprising of MS plate 50x4mm with necessary fixtures such as handles, oxidized M.S. but hinges, oxidized MS sliding door bolts, tower bolts etc. as per approved drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

The internal WC doors of toilet blocks shall be 30 mm thick Fiber Glass Reinforced plastic (FRP)paneled door shutter of required shade of approved brand and manufacture. d) Windows: Windows/ventilators shall be factory made ISI marked standard rolled steel sections with 3 mm thick acrylic sheet panels. M.S. grills shall be provided with welding with steel windows/ventilators. IRC fabric mesh cages shall be provided to protect window panes at ground floor only. e) Flooring: Class room and verandah flooring shall be 25mm thick Kota stone over 20mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement 4 coarse sand) including rubbing and polishing complete. The base at ground floor shall 100 mm (average) thick cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement: 5 coarse sand: 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size). The skirting in hall and verandah shall also be of 25 mm thick Kota stone. The approach paths of the hall shall be of RMC M-25 Grade with vacuum dewatering & 60mm thick interlocking paver blocks of M-30 grade in service lane/back side of hall over base cement concrete 1:5:10 (1 cement: 5 coarse sand: 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size). Dados in the toilets and water tough area shall be finished of rectified ceramic glazed tiles upto a height of 1.50. & 0.90 m height in WC corridors shall be finished ceramic glazed tiles up to a height of 1.50 m. f) Roofing Roofing shall consist of following items. The false ceiling with light weight calcium silicate ceiling tiles of Spintone surface texured 'Aerolite" make or equivalent shall be provided in the hall and ver. The terrace roof shall be as under: 50 mm thick rough chisel red sand stone slabs shall be placed on RCC Beam and two angle iron of section 65 x 65 x 6 mm welded together. R.S. joist shall rest on cement concrete blocks of 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). A layer of grading with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm

nominal size) to required slope of average thickness 50 mm shall be provide over red sand stone slab. Terrace will be finished with mudphuska and Brick tiles. g) Finishing: All internal walls shall be plastered with 12 mm thick cement plaster on even sides and 15 mm thick cement plaster on rough sides of the brickwork with cement mortar 1: 6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand). The external walls shall be plastered with Washed stone grit plaster. Internal walls shall be finished with acrylic washable distemper. The parapet shall be finished with acrylic smooth exterior paint of approved shade as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. All the doors, windows and ventilators shall be painted with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand, shade and manufacturer over a coat of approved primer. h) Miscellaneous: 50 mm thick plinth protection consisting of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand: 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75 mm thick brick ballast rammed and grouted with sand. Brick edging shall be provided along the edges of plinth protection. Surrounding area shall be filled and leveled with good earth to raise the level of the ground to avoid water stagnation and lessen the storm water load on the drainage services. k) Drainage Storm water drains shall 250 mm dia ISI marked RCC NP2 pipes to be laid with required slope. Road gully chambers shall be of size 50 x 45 x 60 cm with bricks of class designation 75 in cement mortar with approved make horizontal grating with frame as per standard design.

Specification: - CPWD Specification 2009 Vol. I to II with up-to-date Correction slips. Rate: - DSR 2007. Cost: - Rs. 60,96,500/W.C. Staff : - Shall be met out of contingencies.
