}The YMCA International Language School, located at the heart of Downtown
Montreal, was established in 1965 and is part of the international YMCA movement
found in more than 120 countries.
}The Language School has 27, well-lit classrooms, 2 computer-based language learning labs,
a student lounge with wi- access, and more.
}Free wireless access, in our language laboratories, is oered to students registered in any of
our intensive programs.
}The minimum age requirement is 18, but the average age of our students is between
25-29 years old.
}We are members of the following associations: ALTO (Association of Travel Organization),
WYSE (World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation), Imagine Education au/in
Canada et Languages Canada.
}Our Language School is conveniently located in the same building as the YMCA Sports
Center which is equipped with technologically up-to-date equipment and tness programs.
}Students who register in our intensive or our Integrated Skills programs benet from
FREE GYM MEMBERSHIPS.

Our sessions start every 4 weeks.
We ofer year-long sessions.
We ofer group courses (maximum of 15 students per
group) and private lessons.
Our teachers are well qualifed (ESL diplomas and
certicates) and competent.
Class materials are not included in the advertised
cost and prices vary from $25 - $50.
Ofcial evaluation center for TOEIC (Test of English for
International Communication), and TFI (Test de franais
international) in Montreal.

Activities are organized regularly for students by the
school (tours, guided visits, trips, festivals/events,
cinema, and more.
Weekend trips to New York, Toronto, Ottawa,
Quebec City, and more.

All students registered in our language programs of
15 or more hours per week have free access to our
tness centre which includes:
A large selection of group ftness classes:
aerobics, toning, step, aquat, yoga, various dances,
cardio cycle and much more!

A 25-metre lap pool
A 125-metre indoor jogging track
A gymnasium for team sports

(9-17 YEARS OLD)
Two sessions of English and French Language camps
(located in downtown Montreal) are oered during
the summer (July and August).
Three sessions of English language courses
(July and August) oered in Camp KANAWANA
a nature-flled camp site located 45 minutes
from Montreal.

Our school oers two types of student accommodation
programs:
Homestay programs with English and French language
speaking Canadian families living within a 45 minute
radius from our school.
