Project 58

Last weeks donations assisted a single mother of four with a utility bill payment. WOLC volunteers actively support these programs in a variety of ways. New opportunities are available this summer, including a community garden and a summer lunch program for kids. Contact Megan Taylor at the church office for more information.

IMAGINE Eleven

THIS Sunday, July 14 thru August 11 6:30-8:30 PM Felix Square

IMAGINE Eleven is a Sunday night summer concert series, organized by more than 20 St. Joseph area churches. The series features eleven evenings of great music, tasty food, and summertime family fun. The music genres vary each week, all the way from blues to Broadway. Food and beverage sales benefit a local charity. This Sundays program features Ratlle & Hum, the highly popular Kansas City-based U2 cover band.

Every prospective Christ-follower should be baptized. Baptism is the public declaration of each believers identification with Jesus and with his church. WOLK Service Cancellations

There will be no Word of Life kids elementary services on Fridays during the month of July. We look forward to resuming our Friday night services on August 2. Please pray for our kids who will be at Camp Dry Gulch July 15-20.

Gluten Free Communion Bread

Word of Life is now serving ONLY gluten free communion bread in all the communion services.

Circle of Friends is our group for those over 50. This months lunch activity is very affordable. Circle of Friends will host the movie "Seven Days in Utopia," with Robert Duvall. Bring your own lunch, the air conditioning is cool, and the movie is FREE! Contact the church office for more information.
