W H E R E A S I am desirous of appointing a fit and proper person as my Attorney to deal with the legal matters relating to Flat No. A 2/4 , Fourth Floor, Salt Lake AG Block, Sourav Abasan Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, AG 104 Sector II, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 091 against Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority and I do hereby nominate, appoint and constitute SACHINDRA NATH DATTA, son of Lt. act as my true and lawful Attorney to do all or any of the following acts, deeds and things necessary in my name and on my behalf :

To engage and appoint Solicitors & Advocates or Legal Practitioners to deal with

the legal matters relating to Flat No. A 2/4 , Fourth Floor, Salt Lake AG Block, Sourav Abasan Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, AG 104 Sector II, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 091

To proceed on my behalf with the legal matters relating to Flat No. A 2/4

, Fourth Floor, Salt Lake AG Block, Sourav Abasan Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, AG 104 Sector II, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700 091 and to sign, verify and declare any affidavit, petition, plaint, written statement, appeal, revision, review, document, caveat, application, proceeding under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, undertaking for costs and compensation under the Civil Rules and Practice, for filing affidavits, to file petition or counter claims applications, undertakings, complaint before the Honble Supreme Court of India or any High Courts or any other competent court or any legal or statutory authorities.

To represent me in the said legal proceedings and to give evidence on my

behalf and produce documents if any in the aforesaid proceedings.

To execute Vakalatnama; appearances or authorisation on my behalf in

connection with the said legal proceedings.

To issue notices, receive documents including those relating to

compromise compound or refer to arbitration in the aforesaid proceedings, to deposit and/or withdraw monies from any competent court and/or authority, to pay Court fees to receive refund thereof, to authorise Solicitors & Advocates engaged by us, to apply for executions and/or enforcement of decrees, judgments, awards and order passed in our favour to apply for inspection of documents/records and to inspect the same.

To adduce evidence on my behalf.

To arrive at any compromise or negotiation on my behalf and to sign

verify and affirm such compromise or negotiation on my behalf on such terms and conditions as approved by me.

To give all undertakings on our behalf or required to be given by or under

any ad-interim or interim orders.

To do all other lawful acts, deeds and things necessary for securing our

interest in the said legal proceedings and to safeguard our interest.

10.

To negotiate, compromise, settle and adjust the claims.

11.

To delegate any or all powers hereby conferred to other person or persons

who may be deemed fit by our aforesaid Attorney.

AND GENERALLY to do and execute all such other matters, acts and things in my name, for me and on my behalf as may be necessary for the purposes aforesaid as fully and effectively as if I was present and had done it, and I hereby agree to ratify all that the said Attorney have done already and/or shall do and/or cause to be done in the execution of the premises herein.
