Licensure and Certification Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Illinois #180-001278, 1996-present National Certified Counselor (NCC), #26519, 1991-present Counseling and Supervision Provide personal and career counseling to individuals, couples and groups. Adept at working with adolescents and adults on a wide and varied range of personal and career concerns in both university and private practice settings. Expertly interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory for individuals and groups. Redesigned career counseling services for two academic institutions to include psycho-social issues that affect students ability to make satisfying academic and vocational choices. Coordinated a summer pilot for provisionally accepted freshmen, overseeing the academic, student life and residence life components of the program. Instruction and Program Management Completely redesigned Loyola University Chicagos Career and Life Planning course to broaden its focus and include family of origin issues, professional development topics, and on-going discussion of vocation and calling. Teach one of the four available sections each semester and train new instructors. Designed and taught graduate courses for Loyolas Institute of Pastoral Studies and a Chicago-based school of professional psychology, including career theory and counseling, group counseling, and practicum seminar. Taught First Year Seminar at two institutions. Designed and taught a leadership course at two womens colleges. Sought after to create and conduct workshops on a range of professional and personal development topics for students, alumni, work groups, and community organizations.

Managed job fairs and career information events. Organized and oversaw the successful implementation of multi-institutional career fairs. Developed alumni mentor programs to assist students and new graduates expand their career networks. Created and managed three successful peer counseling programs, each serving a different student population. Programs enhanced the visibility and broadened the accessibility of departmental services.
