How Breast Cancer Is Caused In Women and What Are the Symptoms

The cases of breast cancer majorly occur in women as compared to men where the problem exists in lower ratio.
Breast Carcinoma develops from breast cells which divide and multiply at a rapid speed. Its cause is still mystery to small extent, yet medical research shows that breast cancer originates from inner lining of milk ducts or the lobules that supply ducts with milk. However, due to advancement in medical field and research in developed countries, the survival rate of women effected by breast cancer is much higher (almost 8 out of 10 survive) as compared to under developed countries where women almost die due to this deadly disease.

Possible Causes of Breast Cancer


1. Smoking and alcohol intake, which release carcinogenic substance in body, promote breast cancer. 2. Genetic inheritance from ancestors. 3. Induced Abortion, which is very common in western countries. 4. Consumption of High Fat diet / Obesity due to use of fast food which is in trend these days 5. Exposure to Radiations, such as places near nuclear reactors/laboratories.
Symptoms of Breast Cancer

1. The earliest symptom of breast cancer is the appearance of a lump that is different in feeling from other tissues of the breast. The early stage cancer detection is efficiently possible through mammogram. 2. Thickening on or around nipple area of the breast accompanied with difference in texture of the skin is also an indication of breast cancer. 3. Unexpected change in size of the breast. 4. Sudden enlargement of both or one of the breast .i.e. the change in symmetry of the breast. 5. Noticeable turning of the nipple either in upward position or inverted position. 6. Discharge seen from the nipple (while the woman is not in nursing period). The discharge can be a kind clear one or either it will be bloody discharge.

7. Swelling of the nipple / breast / areola. 8. Sudden unexpected size reduction of either both or one of the breasts. 9. Irritation with or without pain in breast or nipple which persists for long. In any of the above case, immediately consult your health care expert and go for a mammography test especially in the case of women above the age of 40 years who are most probable to suffer from breast cancer. Besides, avoiding predisposing factors of breast cancer that are controllable in your own hands, such as avoiding smoking which is evidently hazardous to heath and forbidding alcoholic beverages and caffeinated drinks can combat the risk of breast cancer to a much great extent. Moreover, including healthy meals in diet and avoiding fatty and oily food rich in bad carbohydrates and bad cholesterol can always be fruitful. Last but not the least, adopting healthy options in lifestyle and ensuring exercises, meditation / yoga in daily life along with consuming plentiful of water (8 glasses per day) can help efficiently in removing toxins from the body and relief from many life-taking diseases.
