All ground level Amiana rooms have indoor/outdoor sheltered bathrooms with cool, airconditioned interior areas and lush outdoor gardens, each featuring a massive handcarved stone bathtub.

All across Asia, food is shared in small portions and enjoyed throughout the day. At Bacaro, we have mixed this delightful social tradition with a wide selection of Asian and international dishes which we serve in cicchetti style. Whether at breakfast (which we are proud to claim is the best in Vietnam, if not all of Asia!), or a sumptuous dinner, you can share a range of the small delights. For the traditionalist or the Nha Trang Seafood aficionado we also offer a fine selection of a-la-carte specialties, centred around our aged Australian Black Angus Beef and signature seafood BBQ.

Nha Trang,
a unique destination on its own

The coastal city of Nha Trang is 1,278 km from Hanoi, and 448 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Nha Trang is endowed by nature with deep, quiet and warm waters all the year round, surrounded by archipelagoes, more than 19 islands, mountains and white sand beaches - a wonderful and attractive resort destination. Nha Trang Bay is recognized as one of the 29 most beautiful bays in the world. Nha Trang benefits from topographical advantages of the sea, islands, mountains and deltas. West of Nha Trang, there are endless mountain ranges where a wide variety of animals and birds live. To the north of Nha Trang stands the Chong Mountain, which looks like a wide open hand over the sea. Far offshore, the Yen (Swallow) Island appears with lush green colors. Nha Trang is Vietnams most famous resort destination and has the very best weather in the country.

Weather

Nha Trang has a tropical climate, though is sometimes mentioned as Vietnams Mediterranean Area and considered one of the jewels along Vietnams long stretching coast line. Nha Trang is generally sunny all year round, with an average temperature of 23 degrees C due to northern winds. Typical daily temperatures are in low to mid 30s C and typical nightly temperatures are in the low to mid 20s C. The rainfall is less than anywhere else in the country and the area is considered not threatened by storms since it is protected by the Trung Son Mountains and Ca Pass.

Attractions

Among Nha Trangs attractions is the Long Son Pagoda, which is prominent for its statue of Gautama Buddha, Po Nagar Cham Towers, Nha Trang Stone Cathedral, Fishing Village, Alexandre Yersin Museum, National Oceanographic Museum of Vietnam, Hon Chong (Chong Rocks), The Dien Khanh Citadel / Fortress (built by the French officer Olivier de Puymanel for Nguyn nh in 1793 with an area of 36,000 square meters, according to the Vauban military architecture, which was popular in Western Europe in 17th - 18th centuries), the Dam Market, Thap Ba Hot Springs & Mud Baths to name a few. In addition, Ba Ho (Three Lakes) Waterfalls, Fairy Spring Waterfalls and Yang Bay Waterfalls, all known for their natural beauty, are within 20 40 km distance of Nha Trang. One can also catch a ferry to Monkey Island, which is full of monkeys and has a 10-am Circus, located 20 km north of Nha Trang.

Travelling to Nha Trang

Vietnam Airlines (VN) offer several regular scheduled flights daily from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN), Hanoi (HAN) and Danang (DAD) to Nha Trang (NHA/CXR). VietJet Airlines (VJ) also fly daily from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Nha Trang (NHA and CXR are both used as airport codes for Nha Trang). Commercial flights to Nha Trang no longer use the citys municipal airport, but fly to the larger Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR), a former U.S. Air Force Base built during the Vietnam War, located approximately 35 km south of Nha Trang. There are also an increasing number of direct charter flights to Nha Trangs Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR), which received a major upgrade in 2010. There is a Railway Station in Nha Trang as well, which is one of the main railway stations on the North-South Railway (Reunification Express) linking Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa. Nha Trang can also be reached easily by road via the scenic Vietnam Coastal Highway.
