VA Health Administration Center (HAC) - Prime Contract Providing database support to VA Health Administration Center (HAC) for EDI and Healthcare Claims Processing Oracle databases. TSCTI provides database development, maintenance and support to manage several Oracle databases and other development tasks related to several new, large-scale IT projects. The database has interfaces with VistA. TSCTI tasks include recommending and approving upgrades or changes to the current configuration, provided complete configuration management for the Oracle software and environment, and ensured fully functional hardware and software for inclusion into all environments. Assisting with transparent gateway protocols to support movement of data between Oracle database and SQL Server 2005 database. Veteran benefit management system (VBMS) Sub contract Perform testing services (e.g., code coverage, functional, integration, end-to-end, 508 compliance, infrastructure) to support the continued development, enhancement, and deployment of VBMS capabilities within an Agile development methodology. Develop, execute, and track all testing efforts to support the end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of the VBMS. Work with designated VA Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, enhance, and maintain the necessary testing artifacts, including test plans, test procedures and test scripts for any incremental releases.

The South Carolina Health Information Exchange (SCHIEx) - Prime Contract The South Carolina (SC) Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is implementing the South Carolina Medicaid and EHR Program. This program is designed to use of a certified EHR system according to the requirements developed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CITIA-SC is part of a national effort to increase the use of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) by health care providers. A network of Regional Extension Centers have been established throughout the United States to offer technical assistance, guidance, and information on best practices to support and speed the adoptionand the meaningful useof EHR systems in doctors offices. CITIA also demonstrated a focus on helping rural areas of the state via the fact that 81% of the practice sites recruited are in a health professional shortage area or a medically underserved area. TSCTI is working with Clemson University to support workflow redesign in rural hospitals during EHR implementation. Task includes System Analysis for implementing the SC SLR System including Converting EPs & EHs from SC System to New SC SLR System. Lead the design of the next phase of the SLR development including assessing the current solution and other state solutions. Implementing the SC SLR Admin System and SC SLR Client System. Coordinate with Clemsons infrastructure team to deploy and test the solution;

The Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) - Prime Contract The Medicaid Member Management project is one of the most complex technology development projects undertaken by Clemson University on behalf of the State of South Carolinas Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS). This project is a multiyear effort to replace the States Medicaid Eligibility Determination System (MEDS) with a multi-tier application environment that requires modern technologies, technical practices and substantial collaboration with a variety of stakeholders. TSCTI is working on DHS OIS analysis, development, testing, and acceptance criteria methodologies.

State of Oregon
Department of Human Services - Database Analyst for CAP Project Prime Contract The CAF Self Sufficiency Modernization Program (CAF-SSM) was established by DHS to improve delivery of self sufficiency human services to Oregon citizens in need. This Program provides online channels for citizen access to benefits and automates workflow for the field service system. These process changes improve caseworker effectiveness and relieve daily burdens imposed by the current information systems environment and highly manual intensive processes. New solutions develop by TSCTI allows DHS staff to improve their service to Oregon citizens in assisting them to become independent, healthy and safe. The CAF-SSM Program is composed of a portfolio of interrelated projects of varying size and complexity, each with different start and deployment dates. Scope of work includes all aspects of database architecture, database analysis, and database object creation/maintenance (database analysis services) for the Consolidated Automation Project (CAP). CAP contains projects from both the Online Services and the Workflow Automation solution areas and is a major component of the CAF-SSM Program. TSCTI is performing work using established DHS OIS analysis, development, testing, and acceptance criteria methodologies.
