Abstract Using the suitable test under loading situation for soccer boot. Testing on different stud design under different loading pattern. Early studies found that aggressively cleated shoes did not generate higher torque than conventional cleated shoes Introduction Methods Major risk factor for non-contact injuries of the anterior cruciate ligament when get the excessive rotational traction. According Shorten, while excessive rotational traction can cause foot fixation that severe the knee injuries. The purpose of study to know the interaction between shoe surface interface and certain outsoles are dangerous or not for athlete. The normal load on studded boot can generate the traction. As Nigg state that include appropriate test will lead the correct result and avoid error conclusion such as testing with suitable material for surface and shoes. The test apparatus design more important than the material testing by Grund. The purpose to investigate the shoe interaction under different game relevant loading condition using a newly developed test device. Design the pneumatic test device (TrakTester) to investigate the shoe not only the vertical but the more realistic tilted position and apply a torque around the longitudinal axis of the shaft position Test parameter were established from real ACL-injury situation using special analysis method and inverse dynamic simulation Four soccer shoes with different sole or stud design were test under three different loading pattern including different ankle angle, preloads and input torque. For comparative measurement was carried out on dry natural grass field in good condition also temperature and air humidity were measured to environmental condition.

Result the interior rotation torque was applied to the lower leg leading to a jerky rotation with respect to the ground and resulting in a sharp rise of the torque values at approximately 1500ms

The oscillations between 1500ms and 1700ms represent the breakaway of the shoe on the ground and can be interpreted as dynamic rotational traction. The increase of torque (3000ms to 3200ms) was the result of this release as the external torque still acted on the tibia and due to the decreasing preload a slight continuing rotation was enabled resulting in the higher torque

Discussion The result showed that the plantar pressure distribution influence the result considerably. Based on the result acquired by the TrakTester that the load cell is mounted above the ankle joint on the tibia but the data always measures in the local coordinate system of the tibia. That meaning the position of the cell enables the access of forces and torque at the distal end of the tibia. Conclusion The new test device is enable to test the soccer shoes under more realistic condition than existing device but Nigg state that the new aspect such as the shoe-surface interaction of studded shoes on natural grass could lead to a better insight.
